Hotel is under major construction. No pool, smelled like paint, crews working. Turned off the steel at one point, AC didn’t work and we had to call to get a tech out. Wish we knew about the construction ahead of time.

Great place!! Loved the sweet staff. Restaurant attached is super. Pool is small but still great. Will come back. We stayed here and traveled to the Laguna festivities - just a 29 min drive down PCH .

Property was in a great location with updated rooms. The pool was nice and the service at the pool For drinks was convenient. Would definitely stay again! Parking is a bit pricey with really no alternate options but valet/self park for 50/45$ respectively.

Great location, rooms and staff. Luis, in particular, at the front desk was very helpful during both of my recent stays. The surf theme throughout was a perfect add. Rooftop bar was also a lovely place to enjoy a CA sunset.

Parking restrictions and price was heavy. Gym had not been cleaned or re-stocked with towells in the three days during stay. Staff was very friendly. Location to ocean was fantastic. Decorated very nicely with local themes.

The whole place was under construction. From the parking lot, to the lobby, rooftop bar etc. I work in construction, so the last thing i need in a vacation is to listen to hammer drills and smell paint. I wouldnt have booked had i known this.

Easy check in. Room was clean. Great pillows and appreciated the shower turn on not being under the shower head. Freeway view but surprisingly quiet. Nice rooftop bar with no clean view. with friendly bartenders. No Valet associate at 6:00am. Desk clerk had to find my keys and I had to retrieve my car. No big deal but time consuming and inconvenient. Overall good place to stay.

The morning we were packing, we found a cockroach on the curtains. I know they happen, I thought it was funny, my kids... not so much. There was a stain on the bedding of the pull out bed/couch. Liked the location, but was a walk to get to the actual beach.

Pros: Staff is exceedingly friendly and professional. The valet service is convenient and the staff there are top notch. The view of the ocean was as promised and the patio space of the suite was spacious. The room and bathroom were also spacious and appointed with modest furniture. Very quiet and peaceful minus the adorning room doors slamming consistently. Cons: Hallways are stuffy when walking around. Only one elevator working. The room had an odor and was not properly cleaned. The linens/towels had an unpleasant odor. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The shower tile grout was black with mold or dirt and there were cobwebs, spiders and dust near the bathtub and window. The bathroom also had plaster marks on the floor and wall and a tile was askew, causing a possible toe injury if not aware. Scuff marks on the floorboards/wall/furniture. The patio was dusty, had debris and the table was not cleaned recently. There was a big spiderweb that had to be dodged when stepping onto the patio. There were stains on the couch, carpet and chair. The fireplace did not work. Overall a disappointing experience considering we splurged on a king ocean view suite. Definitely not worth the money spent, left disheartened that our favorite hotel that used to be a Doubletree did not meet our expectations of visits past.

Overall, a good hotel with beach within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness needs improvement. The shower had somebodies body hair left behind. The bed looked like somebody slept in it, but they did change the sheets after a request.

I liked the location and the view. The back of the couch of my room was dirty with food scraps. They didn't clean the room, but no one in my room left a sign that said "don't clean the room." During the night, there was the sound of an engine on the roof, which kept me from sleeping

Parking was way too expensive. Considering that he paid about six hundred for the hotel and you gotta pay another 45.00 on top of that for parking and another hundred and 144. For deposit. The refrigerators leak water everywhere. There's black widows or spiders all over the balcony, where you can't sit out there to enjoy the scenery because you'll get bit or attacked. There was an ant crawling on our bed, but I made sure looked around that there was no more never a manager to be found. One of the clerks, when you check in, she's the rudest woman ever and lazy. The parking stuff was wonderful. I think next time I'll stay at the best. Western, that's right across from the beach. I heard a lot about it from people who were staying there that were on the beach sitting next to us. Plus they had free breakfast included.

The location of this property is amazing we had a beautiful view from our room. We were on the second floor and unfortunately, it stank of what I can only describe as cat pee. The entire floor we walked through smelled and so did our room. It was almost too much for me even to fall asleep. I see that you are making reservations so I hope replacing carpets is one of them as I assume this will assist with this problem.

We did bring our own towels/blankets, but the towels provided were dirty, so were the sheets and blanket. I didn’t mention it only because I know how busy it is with the holiday, the staff looked like they were working very hard and they were very polite. It just wasn’t as clean as we hoped but we brought our own things so it was fine. There also were a lot of kids running around being loud, but they’re kids so that doesn’t have anything to do with the staff/hotel.

My husband and three teenagers just stayed at this property for 5 nights. We had a wonderful stay!! The hotel is recently renovated and our room was clean and comfortable. We had 2 beds and a sofa bed so it fit the 5 of us well! It was easy to walk to the beach and an easy drive both in and out of the property. We enjoyed the roof top lounge. The lobby is beautiful and we enjoyed fresh coffee in the morning with cream and sugar. There was coffee in the room as well and a fridge if you wanted to purchase your own creamer. The hotel was quiet and we all slept well. Staff was all friendly and helpful and we self parked which was convenient and there were always lots of spots even if you didn’t use the valet service. We had such a great stay we are looking at making this our annual summer vacation. Again, the location is just wonderful and we loved our ocean view and drinking coffee on our balcony each morning and enjoyed the evenings as well. The kids enjoyed the pool and there were plenty of towels every time we went. Thank you for a great stay!

This property needs work. The AC was broken, the plumbing was clogged, and they don't have enough staff so check-in was delayed. The location is nice because it is across from the beach, but it is next to the freeway, so without AC it's too noisy to sleep. It needs some TLC.

The location of this hotel is great, walking distance to multiple beaches. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only complaint is the noise, especially in our room. Our room was outside of the rooftop lounge, which was noisy until 10:00 PM every night, the highway was also easily heard, and also the train. If you are given a room near the rooftop lounge and try to sleep before 10:00 PM, request a different room.

Upon arrival, to checking in which took 4 hours to get into my two conjoining rooms… which was after the 4pm check in our was a complete nightmare. Was hands-down horrible customer service to getting in our room which keys did not work. Had to come down three times to get new keys to walk into two rooms that smelled like dog and had to call housekeeping to vacuum the room because of dog food that was not cleaned up. I had three senior citizens with me which were sleeping in your lobby as we were awaiting one extra room to be cleaned .I was basically lied to for three hours that it the conjoined room just needed to be inspectedinspected when in essence it needed to be clean, which it was never thoroughly cleaned Very disappointed and will not be going back to this location again. Trust and believe I will be in contact with the regional manager of this location. Kudos to the valet and bell hop staff… the front desk and housekeeping need a little more training in regards to customer service and a little less socializing amongst each other. I would be more than happy to discuss this with a Hilton representative as I too am in the industry and expect much more out of the Hilton.

Terrible service. The staff regodee to honor my Gold Status with Hilton, the two ladies at the front desk were rude not only with me but with everyone, openly stating several times that the hotel is not owned by Hilton. A terrible experience. The room was average, but once again the following morning I needed towels, they never arrived; when I called again after 20 minutes a new gentleman at the front desk simply said to come down and get them, so I had to get dressed to go get my own towels. Would not stay here if they paid me.

I am a Gold member for Hilton and I had a book using Expedia because they weren't able to figure it out then we had housekeeping knock on our door at 9 AM then the room was dirty then we didn't have enough towels then we paid for complementary breakfast and didn't get it

Check in 3:45p Deepthi couldn’t check us in. The room wasn’t ready, so I was to return after 4pm. Clerk at 4:10p did say our assigned room (3rd floor) was not ready but if I would consider the second floor. Yes I did. Check out: we wanted to leave early knowing I would still be charged for the 3rd night. At 10:50p I went to the desk for check out, but was told we can’t be checked out until morning. I clearly understood of paying the full fee and even the last day parking fee. Deepthi, the clerk, again said she couldn’t process the check out. How so? Yet she took my key cards. I said I should be receiving some email about my departure if she can’t due the process. I need proof to show the times and I don’t end up with other charges. Now as I am driving out, I see my email. How is it your desk clerk can’t check a person out? I called the morning to confirm my check out was done and the gentleman said he would do it. I still didn’t get an email. Now I am waiting on my credit card to see the amount The hotel, valet were friendly. The room had spots here & there that were dirty. Eco friendly yes. Walking distance to the harbor. The breakfast diner was 8/10, pricey but okay. My feud was with checking out & it didn’t help that the same first encounter clerk was no help. Ask Victor who was there to witness. So Hilton Garden Inn please contact me for if you want more details. I will definitely be contacting back for final fees. I am only one customer, right, but reviews carry.

Am rating the hotel since am hotel manager, Its a clean hotel Good and safe location But i have 2 issues with this place First :when i booked it was not clear about the parking After i booked i got an email that parking is not for free its 40$ a day which is very expensive more than a hotel in Beverly hills Second receptionist never smile They talk to me and other customers in a way like they have authority on us I called the receptionist asked for nife and they said they will send us,after 40 minutes waiting i called no one answered,i went down to the receptionist to ask what happened with the nife she said we dont have room service and when i asked why u made me wait instead of saying that from beginning she was mean and rude to me That happened Saturday noon time

Loved the staff! My wife had a broken ankle and they made sure to accommodate with a handicap accessible room! When we needed toiletries and towels they brought them up quickly! We did have a spider in our room and being 2 short women lol they send maintenance up to get rid of it for us lol the shower pressure was amazing! AC got ice cold and the room was quiet. We didnt hear the road next to us at all! We were there for a wedding and they were very nice and accommodating! Will be staying again!!! Wont share the room number but will request it again if available lol Amazing decks to just hang out on and the bar as well. Drinks were a little too pricey. But yes would stay again!

I could do a better research to make sure I know where exactly is located. Very close to the beach but surrounded by a highway and train tracks with a very loud noises . The size of the rooms are average from any hotels. But the biggest downside is how expensive is parking . I fault for not checking the parking available note but almost $400 on just parking for a week I think is a bit excessive. So I learned next time I will check on that first .

The property itself was great. Getting into and out of the hotel was a bit congested because of the one ways around Pacific Coast Highway so I had to loop around to go the other direction.

Close to the beach. Walkable, and plenty of dining options nearby. The food at hotel was not great for the price. I dined out 99% except for one breakfast which was not great. The rest of my experience was great the service and staff were excellent.

We enjoyed our 2day stay with ocean view, staff was very polite and helpful. We were bummed the restaurant was closed at 11:00 AM on Sunday. The Waitress was rude and condescending. (website states it closes at 2:00 PM)

Great area, great place, but the staff were quite unpleasant. The “ketchup lady”..and I won’t name the type of service area this person would be in, just to not name names, but I told her she forgot the ketchup, and she got very defensive, and she told me that she never makes that kind of mistake. I had just woken up in this beautiful room with a beautiful view of the ocean with my beautiful wife, and going downstairs to pick up my breakfast and I went back up to my room, the ketchup was forgotten, so I went back down to ask for some, and the “ketchup lady” glared at me and just opened her mouth and stared at me for at least 5 seconds, she said she is certain she put it in, and kept saying how she never makes those kinds of mistakes, I then said I don’t mean to be a bother, I said that to just be nice, because I just wanted my ketchup, she just made me feel so uneasy. Also the eggs were not fully cooked on my eggs benedict, pancakes were very dry. The front staff, I asked about the money I had used so far for room service and other expenses, and how it worked with my $79 extra deposit I had to do before entering our room, and the lady explained it to me but I asked again to be certain and she said “Again…” and she got flustered at me thinking I’m a little slow brained for still not being certain of her answer the first time. The only 2 staff individuals that me and my wife appreciated were the valet guys, they were kind, quick, and made us feel like real guests.

The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The food was outstanding both in the choice of dishes and quality of them. The staff are very professional and friendly. Walking through the campground to the beach was not what I expected. I thought it would be a park/ parking lot. It was farther to go that way but I felt awkward walking alone through the campground.

Beautiful property right across from the beach. Very comfortable beds and pillows! Great rooftop bar with Randi as the amazing bartender. Thanks for a perfect stay!
