I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort level. Wish the parking lot was more secure, as there were a number of homeless people across the street, but our truck wasn't broken into. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom!

Floors were dirty. Walking across the room twice with white socks, turns the bottoms black. Toilet seat very loose. While showering, there's good water pressure to start but within two to three minutes ( about the time it takes to soap up) there is no water pressure. You must turn it off and wait five minutes and then you can rinse off.

We switched romms two times! The first room had smoking (cigarates) smell. Then the second room had an issue with the smoke alarm, which we stayed for a few hours. The last room wasn't fully cleaned! they didn't take out the trash of the previous guest! Also, the room was not very clean I know that we arrived after an earthquick that knocked the power the day before we arrived and about 2-3 hours after we checked-in, but that is not an excuse for the uncleaned rooms!

The room is very clean, newly remodeled with new linens, but kind of noisy, you can hear the cars noise from the very busy street. Also I wish they have second layer of curtains to keep the window open without blocking the daylight. The bed is little bit too firm for me, but it’s all depends what you like. I will definitely stay again there.

Room does not have AC unit as it was stuffing during sleeping. They have windows but not a safe to open overnight. Tv captioned not working. Disappointing for three nights of warm room and no captioned. No breakfast either. Will not go back!

Property looked newly but cheaply remodeled. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Poor soundproofing- we could hear neighbors and street noise. Immediate neighborhood felt sketchy but hotel is within 10 minutes walk to historic downtown Eureka.

I’ve been here before but this was the worst experience I got bitten by some bug all over my body and the air conditioning wasn’t even working instead they had an old fan next to the air. Very disappointed if this place

The room was very clean which I was happy with. I did not like that when we arrived at 6pm to check-in the office was locked. We had to ring a bell to get in and when he finally let us in he did not greet us at all. He simply gave us our keys and gave us no direction of where are room was or anything. It seemed like the area was unsafe.

We got to this motel quite late, still they were super nice and checkin was super quick. The room was cozy and clean but quite cold (there‘s a heater though). Would recommend to stay there. Very good value for the price.

When pulling into the property there were a couple of random people screaming. Once we parked we went into the checkin desk/office. The office smelt of dirty laundry and musk. While checking in when my card was ran it said approved on my end but declined on the office clerks side. Thus, I had to run a different card. Once checked in I went up to my room. The room itself smelled of musk. The carpet had stains all over, and the room was hot and humid. I tried to get the in room air to turn on and had no luck. When I went to the office to request help, I only felt even more uncomfortable and unsafe as I walked from my room to the office. The guy in the office only offered for me to talk to the manager on Monday. I immediately checked out and found a different hotel in the area

This is a very unsafe property. There were lots of street walkers and homeless in the area. While unloading or luggage I was hit up by one of them. We ended up leaving and checking into a different hotel. If you can, skip Eureka all together, if you must staff do your research and stay at another safer hotel.

The Travelodge in Eureka is right across the street from the Coop and in easy walking or driving distance to other businesses. We like to stay there to visit the redwoods, the area marshes and beaches, and our son at Humboldt.

This is a classic motel. The room was clean, the front desk guy was friendly enough. They do not have breakfast here like other travelodges that I have gone to recently. When I asked the front desk guy about it he said that they were grandfathered in when they changed ownership and were not required to offer that. He suggested I go to the co-op across the street and have breakfast there. Overall I was a very happy renter, there is a taco truck that was there Friday night and Saturday night until very late. They had excellent burritos and tacos. There is a bunch of homeless people in the vicinity however they don't really come on the property.
