Motel 6-Eureka, CA Redwood Coast

The beds sucked, felt like the head of the bed was leaning down, slept at the foot of the bed, worst sleep. Otherwise, pleasant stay...just a lil pricy.

Staff was super friendly, both when I checked in and at checkout. Room was as good as it gets for the price

For a budget place to stay it was fine. However, for a non-smoking room, it sure smelled like smoke. (And on the first day there was a guy walking past all the ground-floor rooms smoking pipe tobacco...) The "hot" water barely kicked in, so I mostly had warm water from the bathroom tap and shower. Bed was pretty soft but okay. Street noise was minimal. Loved that Eureka Natural Foods was only 3 blocks away.

Room was updated and nice. Property exterior was a bit tired but all in all good for the price.

The room was excellent- nicely decorated and maintained. Our only complaint is that the beds were much too high.
