We loved the pool, hot tub and free breakfast. Was bummed they don't have guest laundry. I did not sleep well on the beds. Overall, we would definitely go back. It fit our itinerary.

Great stop near the redwoods. Small indoor pool perfect for the kids to get their energy out. Excellent breakfast! Would stay there again.

Terrible stay! Bad smell inside the room. Right before going to bed , we found the red spot on the bed sheet make it more disgusting, in the night time, hotel guests still talking loud in the hallway.

Didn’t have any luggage transfer racks at the front area. Turns out they only had one that was not in sight when we checked in or when we checked out but also not being in use by anyone else in sight either. No water in lobby, cookies unavailable. Needed a $100 deposit even though I had already paid for the room. Air conditioner extremely noisy.

The king bed was so lumpy and uncomfortable. It sank in all over. Def needs a new mattress. Luckily there was a sofa sleeper and I slept there for 1/3 nights

The internet connection was terrible. It continually disconnected. It even affected our ability to watch the television. When we got there, the pool and spa were closed for maintenance and barely opened up again the day before we left. The breakfast was okay but the dining area is too small for when they have full capacity as it was when we were there. They definitely need two waffle makers. I had to wait twenty minutes to make a waffle.

We didn't get to stay at this place and lost money! We arrived to find out the booking date was wrong, 5/11-12 instead of 5/12-13. The front desk staff refused to change the date. We asked for her manager, she said no and said she already talked to her. We called Choice Hotel customer services, who called her and she still won't change. The hotel has a policy of no cancellation but we didn't cancel. We asked for change! Choice Hotel services felt very bad for us and told us it is totally up to the hotel. The front desk was so rude. For the whole time, we tried to nicely explain our situation and she never showed any sympathy. Not only that, she refuses our rebooking so we have to find another place to stay. It was an horrible experience. This is a dishonest steal, avoid this place!!!

They said I had to give 100 deposit which they said Expedia states which they don’t. Ok fine but they would only except credit card for deposit witch I didn’t have. I offered cash or debit card. No they said. And they wouldn’t refund me. They just kept my 141 dollars. And then sold room to someone else. So they got paid twice. Worst place ever. And Expedia is the worst as well.

Honestly, great customer service.We needed an extra bed cuz.My kids didn't want to share last minute, and it really came in handy to separate them.And the front office brought a bed very quickly and pretty late at night.Great customer service and truly appreciate the good clean stay.. if I could recommend anything, it would definitely be to add-on to your breakfast area.!

We were told that if we needed more towels etc, they were available at the front desk. I actually liked the fact we could leave our things out. Staff extremely friendly. They were constantly replenishing items at breakfast.

Everything was great, but the main city has become run down with homeless about, lots of construction. Hotel was on the outskirts which felt safer and access is key-only which was nice. Sadly Eureka has become a nasty city in general.

I was able to check in earlier than scheduled. But here is the catch. Around 12:30pm I called hotel inquiring about early check-in availability. Guess what, no one answered the phone. I made three calls and none of the calls were being answered. So I decided to drive to the hotel and the receptionist was able to accommodate my need. The hotel condition needs improvement. The carpet inside the hotel room was dirty and wet. Next morning the complementary breakfast was not bad. The location of the hotel is great, closed to shopping mall and grocery.

It was fine for an overnight stop before we drove into the redwoods the next day. Breakfast was pretty good, but we did not have time to enjoy the pool. The room was decent enough and clean. The area around the hotel is very busy and has a lot of options for dining and shopping.
