The hotel was in great condition and clean. The valet and bar staff were outstanding. The front desk was rude and pretentious. The downstairs bar closed too early, forcing everyone to the roof bar, that is poorly stocked. The room was perfect except for the 40 grit towels.

Nice hotel over all. But way too many fees for stuff.$25 extra fee for there restaurant; it’s there “free coupon” for a meal with them. But if you don’t use it they will still charge you. And there “free WiFi” which it’s really bad, so they will charge you $20 for good WiFi. No parking. There a $65 fee for the hotel to park your car with them. Or next door you pay $15 fee to park all day, but the hotel uses the same parking but don’t tell you. It was very clean over all. The street is loud and the walls are thin. It’s a stay once in your life time hotel when you need a hotel close to some event.

Beautiful rooms and nice big bathrooms but lots of light and sound from the city, compared to other hotels. Also the hallway doors don’t seal well and you hear everything in the hallway. Our two nights were pretty restless due to a group that preferred to gang out in the hall talking/laughing at 2AM. Suggest bringing earplugs and eye masks.

Exceptionally quiet room! No street noise and the AC was super quiet. My brother kept commenting on how quiet the air system was. Carpet in the room looked brand new, great linens and soap products. I don't know what I would change about the room. Windows don't open, but that was fine.

Basic utilities such as the fridge didn’t work. Though no fault of its own, it’s situated in a dirty, unsanitary part of LA. Cleaning staff did a great job. Front office workers rude and belittling. When we went to question a charge found on our card, Julianna immediately ignored our point, simply saying that in whatever other country we were from(we live in the U.S) there currency doesn’t match and that’s what’s causing our issues. Completely disrespectful and belittling.

No help from bell hop. Valet was a joke. They were so rude. There was no grace period given when once our cars were pulled up for us to load and leave. Their customer service tone can use a little work and their professionalism. The rooms were nice would've been better if the respect was there as well

Having a so called resort, or destination fee to cover WiFi and rent bikes is just ridiculous. Include it in the price for the room, instead of inventing idiotic add ons. Apart from that, nice room, breakfast was decent, but had it not been included in the room, I wouldn’t have paid $28 for it. This is DTLA so the weak hearted should not go out for walks in the area during the evenings, as there’s a lot of homeless people in the area.
