Property was in prime location for activities downtown LA. loved the car service that is built in to reservation. the pick up and drop off was great to have when attending activities with limited parking. didn't have to worry about getting my car from Valet each time I went out. front staff very attentive as well as other services. great hotel. would definitely stay again.

On positive side, room I got was nice, particularly for the rate I paid (last minute booking). Staff I interacted with was nice. My room was really quiet for a hotel. On the “could improve” side, Why did I pay a resort fee? It should be easy to use attached self parking garage (it’s not). Room was not ready when I arrived (I was early), I was told hotel would text when room was ready, and no one ever texted me. I found my room was ready when I checked back with front desk later.

The hotel is very nice and has a lot of amenities. Hotel is located near metro, MOCA museum, Angels Flight, Disney Concert Hall, Grand Central Market. There was a free outdoor concert next door which my husband enjoyed but others in the hotel did not as it was loud. Be aware that a $35 resort fee will be added and only valet parking is available at $65.

The staff I was very kind and professional. The hotel offered multiple complementary accommodations, such as transportation. There were healthy snacks in the lobby, and the gym was well equipped. The location was very convenient and very close to multiple metro stops and big museums such as the Broad and MOCA. It was also within walking distance to most other places in DTLA. Only thing is the pool was small and shallow and area was not as clean as other parts of hotel. Overall I'm very impressed and happy we chose Onmi.

The hotel was very nice. It was decorated with a Christmas theme and the gym was a decent size with a good amount of equipment. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because the restroom had hair in the shower, floor, and on towels.

Good stay. The first room we were given was dirty and not in good repair. They gave us a second room on a higher, recently renovated floor that was great. Not sure why they didn’t offer the good room first, but they moved us when I pointed out the dripping shower etc.

The hotel its self is ok. My room had a dirty bathroom. The shower was spilling water nd there was a towel at the bottom as to soak up the water dripping. It was nasty and stained yellow kinda mold like. The bed was also dirty.

Hotel communal areas and staff were excellent, room a little plain, standard. My only concern was the pool area. I used the pool once and unfortunately the floor around the pool was dirty leaving my feet with blackened soles after exiting the pool.

We enjoyed the location and how welcoming the staff was. Parking was frustrating because it was valet only, which is expensive, and we had to drive everywhere due to the shuttle service being unavailable. The rooms were average, and the bathrooms need a deep cleaning.

We arrived at the Omni to find two disconcerting developments: 1) the hotel no longer has a piano bar, which had proved a wonderful respite from the crowded urban scene for years, and 2) we were informed that a pop music concert would be performed in the adjacent courtyard from 5-12 p.m.! Never have heard such thundering techo "music" in all our lives. It proved impossible to sleep anytime before midnight. Sadly, the ambience of the hotel has changed so significantly that we will not return in the future.

This is the second time we stayed here. Great property. However, this time we were put in a room with a adjoining room (two doors separating two rooms). The soundproofing between the rooms were awful. We could here word for word conversations between the rooms with mom/dad and their crying kids. I've never been in a 4+ hotel with a that significant shortcoming in sound proofing. If it had been a bedsheet hung between rooms, it wouldnt have been worse that what we had. In the future, if we stay again, we'll ask for a non adjoining to see if it makes a difference.

I recently stayed at the Omni Hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was not as smooth as I had hoped. While the property itself was well-maintained, there were two major areas of disappointment. First, there was no staff available to assist with luggage upon checkout. Additionally, we were not allowed to use the luggage carts ourselves, which created unnecessary inconvenience. Second, and more concerning, was the poor treatment my colleague received at the front desk. They had simply requested an hour-long extension for check-out, but the staff member was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. This was particularly embarrassing as the person they mistreated was the soloist for the performance the night before—a guest deserving of respect and courtesy. While I appreciate the hotel's amenities, these interactions left a negative impression. Customer service is a critical part of any stay, and I hope the Omni Hotel takes this feedback into account to ensure a more welcoming experience for all guests.

The staff at The Omni LA was above and beyond Excellent from the attendants that greeted my wife and I upon our arrival to the front desk clerks who treated us like family along with the housekeeping staff who pleasantly filled our every request .The room and the amenities were top notch our only regret is that we had to leave as our reservation ended. We booked one bed and got placed in a two bed room. We were told it was because we booked through Expedia that we got the room we got. That Expedia tells you that you will get what you select but they tell hotel management we can be placed wherever due to availability. We booked months in advance so we were not sure why that was the answer we got. Moreover, they didn’t try to help us or accommodate our situation at all. We were so uncomfortable every night. We were promised a free drink when we booked and it was confirmed by hotel staff when we arrived. We were still charged at the end of that and when we asked about it, they said they couldn’t do anything because their manager was not in the day we checked out. I don’t think we will book this place again.

We were really disappointed with our stay at the Omni Los Angeles Downtown. While the hotel is clean and well-maintained, the location is a major letdown. Downtown LA feels deserted, and the presence of Skid Row and high-crime areas nearby made us feel unsafe walking around. The atmosphere was off, and we didn’t feel comfortable outside the hotel. To make matters worse, the resort fees were excessive. On top of the $35 destination fee per day, the $65 parking charge felt outrageous, especially considering there was nothing special about the hotel to justify these extra costs. We also paid extra for the club room, which was equally disappointing. There were no live food counters, just some frozen bagels, cereals, and fruit. It didn’t feel like a premium experience at all. For a downtown location, we expected a more vibrant neighborhood or at least some cool amenities, but instead, we got an uninspiring and frankly unsafe experience. We won’t be staying here again and would not recommend it to others.

Prime is an amazing person, he is the top reason I would stay here again…the premium room with breakfast and happy hour was amazing as well!!! I will NEVER valet park here!! Hotel presents itself as a solid business hotel. Wasn't impressed with the restaurant for breakfasts and there's a period of time that the restaurant/bar is closed which I learned when I went for a late lunch. The person at the coffee shop at the third floor was rude, not answering and then when I was taking a glass of milk to make coffee in the room this guy stopped me saying there is a limitation. I was like sorry, what is this guy even saying? He is worried about a glass of milk at such a big hotel. Rest the stay was good and pleasant. I would recommend. I left my shirt and a tshirt (important ones)in the wardrobe but no one contacted me to return it.
