Pros: Convenient location (not too far from LAX), affordable, air conditioning (rare around venice when looking at affordable options), fridge, microwave, survived a 5.5 magnitude earthquake during my stay and so the building is certified sturdy, on-site parking lot, pool (if you happen to visit when there isn't a tropical storm) Neutral: Grab-and go breakfast is free but tiny (granola bar, packaged muffines, yogurt, cup fruit)- don't expect the free breakfasts you get at other hotels (eggs, waffles, bacon, etc), Free wi-fi but disconnected a few times, vending machine broke during stay but staff refunded me Cons: Room was dark (no overhead lighting in bedroom area, just lamps), tub was slightly clogged Final thoughts: Totally on me for not looking into it before booking, but just know that there is no elevator (Was in town for a photoshoot and had a lot to carry/store and so an elevator would've been helpful) Overall, good place at an affordable price. Adequate considering the type of motel. Rooms were very clean and parking was free and onsite. Don’t count on breakfast. It’s minimal. Granola bar and juice. The pool looked well kept. Close to laundrymat and convenience store. Fridge didn’t work.

This is a remodeled "mid-century modern" facility. It\'s the old school motel. But, the building was well kept, everything had been painted tastefully and remodeled, even the parking lot recently repainted. The lot was well lit and plenty of parking. The bed was comfy, the area very quiet, we walked to two different restaurants for meals. It was only an 8 minute drive to Sony studios. Staff very friendly. Breakfast only coffee, yogurt & fruit, but good quality. We\'d stay again.

It is clean but has a old folk home incontinent smell. We asked to change the room but the smell is the same. We booked the room because the good reviews but I have to disagree with them. I always choose quite carefully but this is one of the worst motels we stayed on our route 66 trip sadly.

This property was very nice and clean. The staff was nice. The only problem was the television didn’t work and the staffhad to come to my room to upload the cable to the television and when I tried to turn it on again in the morning the television was not working again and needed to be uploaded but instead of asking I just left earlier than I wanted to but overall it was a good place to stay and I will stay again in the future.

The hotel was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. The mini fridge in my room wasn’t working so they put in a maintenance request and stored my food in a fridge in the office for me. Unfortunately, no one ended up coming to repair the fridge during my stay but other than that it was a pleasant stay!

The Super 8 checked most of the boxes for a very reasonably priced property. It was clean, room furnishings seemed rather modern, it was rather spacious (we had a second floor room with a vaulted wooden ceiling), plenty of parking available, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The free breakfast could’ve been better - cold cereals, yogurt, mandarin orange cups, mini muffins, orange juice, milk, coffee. I would suggest adding packets of instant oatmeal and fresh fruit (apples, bananas). We even took a morning stroll to the Costco down the street. I would stay here again - the price was more than right, when compared to everything else in LA!

The area appears somewhat downmarket but is safe and there are individual and chain restaurants within a short drive.

Great, quiet location. All staff was great, very courteous, and helpful. Zero complaints, we would definitely stay again. Took my 12 yr son to Dodgers game, universal studios, Hollywood sightseeing, and the beaches, this location was central to the places mentioned. Great location.

Stayed here 3 times and found it very convenient for Venice and Santa Monica area. Free breakfast. Vons supermarket a 5 min walk away. Rooms have microwave and fridge.

If you are looking for a clean room in a quiet part of LA, within 15-20 minutes of the airport, where you do not need to spend too much - this hotel fits the bill. Free spacious parking. The breakfast isn't much... just cereal - but if you are content eating cereal or oatmeal for breakfast - they have that, along with fruit, yogurt, toast, and coffee. I stayed here during the June 2025 riots - had not trouble at this location. It was quiet.

Although the property was great and they say breakfast included, well the breakfast is rubbish. Coffee, yogurt, little thing of fruit in juice and a very small cake/muffin. Definitely not a breakfast!

This was a fine, clean, basic motel to stay in with free parking. The breakfast was a coffee, granola bar and flavored yogurt cup kind of thing, so we had breakfast elsewhere. Other than that, no problems.

Exactly what I needed for my stay in LA. The bedroom and restroom were spacious and very clean. Checking in and out was easy. Parking is included, which is nice bonus. Only nitpick is that the included breakfast is subpar. Otherwise, this is a great hotel for the price.

The Super 8 checked most of the boxes for a very reasonably priced property. It was clean, room furnishings seemed rather modern, it was rather spacious (we had a second floor room with a vaulted wooden ceiling), plenty of parking available, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The free breakfast could’ve been better - cold cereals, yogurt, mandarin orange cups, mini muffins, orange juice, milk, coffee. I would suggest adding packets of instant oatmeal and fresh fruit (apples, bananas). We even took a morning stroll to the Costco down the street. I would stay here again - the price was more than right, when compared to everything else in LA!

I really enjoyed my stay at this Super 8 - close to lots of restaurants, and walkable to fun neighborhoods. Convenient to Venice, Del Rey, and Mar Vista, or a quick drive to other beaches. Lots of parking. Breakfast is light, but eating area is comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the well-maintained pool. And the rooms are up to date and clean. Great value!

Our stay was pleasant. The staff was nice and there was plenty of parking. We thought there was to be a full hot breakfast when book but it was continental. There were two choices of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, toast, coffee, tea and juice.
