The only thing with the property and something that I find common when I travel in general, is a lack of convenience in parking in downtown areas.The structure that we parked in was two doors down from the hotel however it was public. Thankfully we didn’t have any issues or damages however it was a concern. The parking was $30 for 24 hrs or $40 in and out for 24hrs , so I guess this seems better than the $50 I’ve been charged in hotel valet other places.

The property was clean and the decor is fun. It’s a decent hotel close to shops and restaurants and dodgers stadium. Multiple paid parking lots are available close by. However, we stayed there prior and returned because of the rooftop bar and the basement bar/lounge. When we arrived we were told the bar was for private events only and the basement bar was closed indefinitely! And yet they still charged us a $29/night “resort fee”. Also, going to the lobby to ask for ice is kinda a pain. They did offer a daily credit at the cafe which we used once. We also tried to upgrade our room because it essentially was a cubicle with a bathroom and we were told no because we booked through Expedia, even when we said please it’s our 24 year anniversary. Overall it is somewhere I would stay again, but I think we will be trying a new place for our next LA trip.

The Hotel itself is nice but very misleading in the way it’s advertise. The most egregious example is that you WILL be charged to park overnight as the Hotel does not have it’s own parking. As of Oct 2023, it cost $30 for overnight parking or $40 for an in and out pass. The room itself is rather small for what you’re paying for but is fairly nice. The staff however were excellent and the highlight of our stay. Very professional and friendly. As for the area itself, we witness drug use fairly close to hotel. Although this is out of the hotel’s control, it was rather surprising to see so close to the establishment. The main reason for my choice is this hotel is the convenience of closeness to popular events. If you are looking for a modest place in downtown LA, this is a good pick but I personally would not stay here again.

Overall had a decent stay. Biggest complaint was that there was never hot water running to the shower at night. There's a parking garage 2 doors down from the hotel so that was super convenient and felt safe - just gotta be okay with $30 nightly parking.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed in the property. It is renovated, clean, hip. The staff are very friendly. It is a small, boutique like hotel. The hotel gives you a $25 voucher to be used for the coffee bar and a great breakfast offering or the rooftop bar. They also give you a gym pass to LA fitness. Parking is $30 a day next door. The rooms are small but nicely furnished. This is my go to place to stay in LA. Convenient to the freeway.

When we walked in the toilet had fecal stains. Additionally, when trying to shower the water would not warm up but the sink water was boiling hot. I read other reasonable reviews for this property but after my experience it was not worth it. Pay the extra $20 for a better spot!!!!

beds were SO comfortable (it was like sleeping on clouds) and facility was clean. there was a parking structure nearby, lots of food options, and a quick 12 min walk to the crypto arena.

Recently stayed at this location in DTLA. Rooms are very small and no fridge or microwave. My room was dirty especially the bed headboard and carpet. Walls of this establishment are paper thin you will hear everything and anything around your room. Overall will not come back or ever recommend this hotel. Mandatory 25$ resort fee each day which you can use as credit for breakfast.

I only stayed one night but it was in a great location (a very quick walk to Crypto.com Arena). The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but the rest of the room was. Nice staff (front desk, front door attendant, breakfast servers). Will stay here again when I’m in town for a hockey game.

We had the bunkbed room and it was kind of small, but we were only there to sleep and get ready for the event we were there for! Just an fyi the bunkbed rooms don’t have mini fridges I did have to ask for one. The staff were wonderful and responded to requests quickly!

We stayed two nights to see a game at crypto. Easy to walk to the arena, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty and portions were large. Room was clean and bathroom was spacious. However noise from the street was easily heard.

Room was really small and poorly designed. Bathroom translucent wall with motion detecting lights would be terrible for more than one person staying in the room. Very little storage space. Desk and chair was high up which made them less comfortable to use and to sit on to put on shoes and things. Found a dirty used q-tip on the floor of the bathroom. Front desk was unstaffed for a few minutes when I arrived which made me have to wait to check in. They neglected to tell me that I had a $25/day credit with the restaurant. On the plus side, when I decided to check out a day early they said I could without paying for the last night (although one person at the front desk said I could and another said I couldn't which made it more nerve racking).

The lobby is very cute and super chic. It kind of lulls you into a false sense of confidence about the room itself. The actual accommodations feel dated and very dingy and the area outside is even sadder looking. It was enough to suit our needs for the evening, but don’t fool yourself into thinking you’ll get a restful night. The windows appear to be original to the building and they don’t provide an ounce of insulation against the noise on the street below.

Room was so tiny, water was Luke warm at best in shower as well as blow dryer didn’t get hot. Heard every noise from elevator to ice machine to ac units. Buzzing alarm every couple hours kept waking us up. One outlet didn’t work. They were able to move us to another room which was better the next day but still rooms are tiny with a steel support beam in the middle of every room. Location is ghetto too, don’t recommend staying here at all.

We booked the room with bunkbeds thinking it will be cool for the kids. Do not! It is just 4 bunk beds, no place to sit, no table, not refrigerator, not even a place to stand! The bathroom room is a barn one, 0 privacy! The room is more like a closet. You got what you paid for. The garage is next door, a public one. But, hotel location is great to get the Metro and discover the city. Staff was really friendly.

I really liked how easy it was to check in, along with great staff that was super friendly and understanding as I had a flight delayed and I called to let them know so my reservation wouldn’t be cancelled. Amazing stay overall. Super nice room.

First off the staff at the front desk and house keeping were all first class and friendly. The hotel has a unique compliment of attractions of its own with the cafe on the main level, roof top bar and a speak easy in the basement. I look forward to visiting again just to enjoy this spot.

I stayed here for two nights. After my first night, the maids removed my items from my room. When I asked the front desk why my items were taken, she told me to not make any assumptions that their maids took it because they are “very well trained”, this sounded like she was admitting that the hotel is unsafe and items are typically stolen. This was unbelievable, the service was atrocious. I will never stay here again, a complete joke of an establishment.

The hotel staff and cleanliness is great. We enjoyed having drinks and food at the rooftop bar. This was our second time staying. Unfortunately our shower did not produce hot water and had to take cold showers. :( We let the staff know when checking out so they waived our resort fee which was kind.

I would’ve rated this property as excellent but the few things were that broke made me rate it a little lower. I had a special request for roses and champagne for checkin for a romantic evening, but they said they didn’t do that, which was fine but the person who assisted was a little rude over the phone. That was my first interaction. Other than that, the staff were entirely amazing once I checked in. Second, there was no fridge, which was disappointing. Same with the lack of free water and coffee maker. Third, was that they mentioned breakfast but made it seem like it was included in the stay. They charged it to the hotel room. That was a little disappointing. There was also convenient parking, but at an extra $30. It was safe and very close by at least. We were there for the “Fork & Film” event which was amazing! That and the rooftop bar along with the hotel ambience and aesthetic were amazing and well worth it!

Close to metro station and convention center . Around this hotel good restaurants and supermarket so it’s convenient. But around here not safe after dark (7-8pm ) . So if you want to stay safe during night . I recommend don’t go outside or use uber /lyft.

The hotel itself is quite decent but the peripheral downtown location can be sketchy at times, especially when the houseless/unstable people are around talking to themselves or yelling to nobody in particular. It was within walking distance of Whole Foods, Macy's, the Apple Store, public transportation stops/stations, and close enough to event venues such as BMO Stadium or Crypto.com Arena.

Location is near almost everything (shops, restos, attractions, subway stations) but just be careful with homeless people in every intersections. Kinda creepy to walk outside once it gets dark. Otherwise the hotel was superb

The decor was absolutely beautiful and unique! I loved the area as well, there were lots of food spots walking distance from the hotel. I felt safe every time I walked around the neighborhood.

We got the true experience of DTLA, our room overlooked city buildings beautifully lit up at night. The noise of the streets was expected, parking is $30 next door. We will be back! Front desk clerks professional and kind.

Checked us in early so the family enjoyed the rest of afternoon. Air conditioning was very weak, fan was blowing all night without much cooling, fortunately the weather was not too hot. The neighborhood unfortunately is rough, I would not let my family members walk alone.

My initial reactions were great. Took me a day to fully react and: need refrigerators in the rooms, need better breakfast setup (buffet would be nice). Only one cook for everybody that comes to breakfast is rather bleak. The battery on my door lock went out twice (Sat & Sun morning). Maybe give the domestic staff that charger and they can charge the door when they clean the rooms. I like the place and I'd stay here again, knowing what to expect the next time.

The staff was very friendly and attentive,and available for questions always through texting. The room was smaller than expected,and I found used tissues under one of the pillows. The area was very convenient, lots of restaurants and shops are within walkable distance. There is $25 fee per night, which allows you a $25 credit per room for breakfast which was a nice feature,the only issue is the breakfast is a bit pricey so if more than one person is staying, you'll probably need to pay extra anyhow.

We stayed two nights to see a game at crypto. Easy to walk to the arena, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty and portions were large. Room was clean and bathroom was spacious. However noise from the street was easily heard.

First off the staff at the front desk and house keeping were all first class and friendly. The hotel has a unique compliment of attractions of its own with the cafe on the main level, roof top bar and a speak easy in the basement. I look forward to visiting again just to enjoy this spot.

The property was clean and the decor is fun. It’s a decent hotel close to shops and restaurants and dodgers stadium. Multiple paid parking lots are available close by. However, we stayed there prior and returned because of the rooftop bar and the basement bar/lounge. When we arrived we were told the bar was for private events only and the basement bar was closed indefinitely! And yet they still charged us a $29/night “resort fee”. Also, going to the lobby to ask for ice is kinda a pain. They did offer a daily credit at the cafe which we used once. We also tried to upgrade our room because it essentially was a cubicle with a bathroom and we were told no because we booked through Expedia, even when we said please it’s our 24 year anniversary. Overall it is somewhere I would stay again, but I think we will be trying a new place for our next LA trip.

I loved our stay here! It was very clean and the room was beautiful. The heater and AC was easy to figure out and the rooftop bar and cafe was great! The front office lady was nice and helpful! The toilet seat didn’t fit to the bowl which was a little odd but everyrhing else in the room was perfect! The only issue I had was the homeless people right outside the hotel but you can’t escape that in LA. Overall wonderful stay and it’s close to a lot of important things in La!

This is the 2nd time I have stayed in the property. It is renovated, clean, hip. The staff are very friendly. It is a small, boutique like hotel. The hotel gives you a $25 voucher to be used for the coffee bar and a great breakfast offering or the rooftop bar. They also give you a gym pass to LA fitness. Parking is $30 a day next door. The rooms are small but nicely furnished. This is my go to place to stay in LA. Convenient to the freeway.
