Best Western Ontario Mills Mall

Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, ongoing coffee and water, nice workout room, excellent oool and jacuzzi. Will stay again.

Only issue was hard to contact driver for shuttle late at night when landed. Call went to loop.

Cleanly and nice atmosphere, other than the $25 app fee for the washer and dryer, it was a good stay!

The late night airport shuttle driver was very friendly, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. This was very good considering I was traveling all day

The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was great. Shuttle driver was very friendly and said the hotel had shuttles that could take us to areas that are within 5 miles. Great (we thought). Check-in was smooth and quick. When we went to our room we were disappointed with how dingy it looked and smelled. There also weren't a lot of lights. The worse is that they put us in a handi-cap accessible room so the bathroom and shower is weird. We wore our flip flops when taking a shower. One of the towel holders fell off the wall when removing the towel but I was able to push the nail back in. The toilet water ran if the level wasn't in a certain position. The next day, when asked to have a shuttle take us to a mall 3.1 miles away, front desk told me that the shuttle doesn't go there. Then the next day when asked if we could have a shuttle take us to a breakfast spot that was a 3 minute drive or 9 minute walk away, she told me to call back in 30 mins. since the driver was on break. I called back and she told me that the driver had a pick up and drop off so the earliest shuttle would be over an hour later. When asked if we could just hop in during the drop-off since it was only 3 minutes away, she said the shuttle was full. *The hotel was great due to its location and that they have airport shuttles, overall friendly staff, free breakfast and free parking but I will likely try another hotel next time.

It's fine, but the lack of an airport shuttle for morning flights is a huge weakness. ONT is just beyond walking distance, guests should not have to shell out $20 for Uber/Lyft to get there when the hotel has a van just sitting there.

The facility is locked at all times. You need to get buzzed in at the front door until you have a key.

The room was clean on arrival but it was impossible to get someone to clean it during our stay, even after requesting. We dumped our own trash and called for towels and toilet paper several times, they dropped it off without a problem. Hot tub was great the first time, second time were branches and two feet of foam with no pool towels. We were there for 5 days.

An excellent choice for a stay close to Ontario Airport, and easy walkable distance from the enormous Ontario Mills Mall and surrounding businesses and eateries. Hotel staff and facility were fine. Staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and included hot food. The only singular complaint we had was that in room 103, the base of the plastic bathtub felt unstable and made a popping sound when one stepped around on it. There is a well-maintained pool and large Jacuzzi out back in a secure enclosed patio area. Both pool and Jacuzzi were very clean and inviting.

Parking is difficult at night.

Mostly a good experience. There was a sticky spot on the carpet in the room and there were clothes behind one of the chairs. Both of these give you a bit of an "ick" factor. It made us wonder just how thorough the cleaning crew works on actually cleaning the rooms.

Excellent hotel, breakfast which is free was more than adequate to keep you going. Room was comfortable and clean. Could ask for anything more.

No maid service even though we had a 4 night stay. Had to request Kleenex- was empty on arrival. Carpet, particularly around bed needed deeper clean. Random screw on floor. Bathroom door didn’t latch properly. Morning breakfasts were good, as well as coffee and water in lobby.

The staff was very friendly and I appreciated that but the room and entire building was filled with biting gnats/mosquitos. It wasn’t just 1 or 2, it was an infestation. I read good things about this place and they all would have been true without these tiny flying monsters biting me all night! I hope they don’t come home with me. I hate leaving bad reviews but I was ready to leave multiple times but I was already here and it was the whole hotel, so switching rooms wouldn’t have helped.

This is generally my go-to property when visiting town. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The property and rooms need some love. The carpet looks dirty, the bathrooms need a touch up all around (shower head had heavy calcium deposits, shower wall liner had visible tears, tile grout looks grimy). The laundry room - the washer looks like no one has cleaned it since they were installed. The software used requires you to fund your "account" and your choices are $10, $25, $50 - each wash or dryer use is $4 so you'll likely leave an unused balance. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish their hospitality reflected in their rooms and property overall

Old and torn carpets on second floor, in the hallway where my room was located. Dirty elevator. Stained up bathroom floors. No housekeeping services the fact that you were short of staff was not my problem. I expect to have clean sheets every day whenever I stay at a hotel and if I had known this, I would never have stayed there. It’s a shame I couldn’t get my money back, but I was there for a funeral and didn’t have time to arrange for another hotel.

Could hear the other rooms chatter from inside my room. I would not stay there again.

The room fine for the most part -- fairly sizeable, comfy bed, clean, with a quiet A/C unit. The negatives were somewhat annoying, but not a deal breaker. First, our room had only one working usb port for charging and it was on the clock radio! The other was on the TV but would not work unless the TV was on. Of course, if we had brought our usb adapter, all would've been fine, but I assumed this hotel would have the same amenities as the last hotel we stayed at where the desk/work area had several working usb ports to choose from (this hotel's desk/work area had none). Second, the gym at the hotel was serviceable, but pretty small (on the other hand, it did have a set of free weights). And finally, the bath tub floor made fairly loud popping noises when I stepped on it -- not ideal when the missus is sleeping. Overall, though, this hotel is a relatively nice stay.

Rooms need wall thermostats not the old window unit things.

TV options were limited.

Paper thin walls. Carpets could be replaced. Front desk girl rude on the phone and in person at check in.

Friendly staff.. Rooms need an update. More lighting and cleaner carpets.

This was my second stay which the first was excellent or else I'd have not returned. The only thing they could improve on was the shower water pressure. It was a little low for my liking. Also, my neighbor had some loud music playing after 9 pm but after a call to the front desk it was handled.

The room has lots of space

Reading lights on both sides of the bed! Everything in nice condition as well as clean. View of the mountains fro our north-facing room. Quiet.

I also loved that they have coffee available all day in the lobby — such a nice touch. However, I had a credit for drinks and snacks that I didn’t get to use. When I asked about it the next morning, I was told that I could only get the voucher at check-in, but the front desk attendant never mentioned it when I arrived. That was disappointing and felt like a missed perk. Breakfast was okay — nothing fancy, but enough to get you started for the day. They had a waffle maker, juices, cheese omelettes, sausage links, potatoes, plus a cereal and yogurt station. The only downside was that the potatoes were a bit undercooked & there was no option of eggs with no cheese. Overall, it was a decent stay with comfortable accommodations and friendly service, but the lack of communication about the voucher was frustrating.

Love this hotel. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I stay here when in town once per month.

Staff was very understanding and helped us check in earlier since we had two small children who were very tired from traveling all night. It truly meant a lot to be seen as humans instead of just customers. The room was also very clean and spacious. The AC unit worked great and the tv offered many channels. We were thankful for the free breakfast as well. Parking lot was well lit at night. I also liked that only people with a room key were allowed to enter the hotel at night which made it feel safer.

I'll give a real review. Here are the pros and cons. Cons: Breakfast was warm, not hot. We asked the female to make more breakfast as there was none left and were told no. The breakfast was still open for 45min. We walked away and a person of her race came up and asked for more to be made, and she made it! Lazy employee? Racist employee? You decide. On checkout. I handed my room card to check out person and stated I was checking out. She looked at me and looked away and asked for room number. No high. No how was your stay. Nothing. No verbal direction what to do with room card. I ended seeing a box to drop the key in. Why couldn't she use her voice? Poor grammar/education or racist? Unknown. You decide. Due to this we wouldn't return. If racism is important to you, then take your money elsewhere. Parking was poor. Plan on parking in the back. Poor lighting. By a major street. Didn't feel safe leaving car there. Pros: Located by the freeway. Gas stations. Places to eat. Room was clean.

We met A’Dreana at the front desk. She was wonderful. Giving us sooo much needed information. She even gave praise to the owners on how they keep the hotel looking good. Who does that!! We got their card and will be back later this month

Excellent hotel taken care of by a fabulous staff. Breakfast was hot and full all the time. Check in was a breeze facilitated by a wonderful friendly young lady. Lots to do in the area .will definitely make this our stop on future buisness trips to the area.

Not real happy about Best Western wanting to charge me $10 to check in 45 minutes early, which I immediately declined on the basis of “principle”. Clearly they had rooms clean and available. I feel as though customer service goes beyond just having a clean room- it’s being a bit flexible and accommodating your customer. After all, if it wasn’t for the customer, they wouldn’t be in business. It’s not like I was trying to check in two hours early. It seems as though after Covid, everyone’s trying to screw the customer.

Clean, quiet and close to the airport

This is a great place to stay at, lots of dining and shopping areas in walking distance. Clean and quite too. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel right next to the Ontario mills mall.

Husband and I went to a concert at the Ontario Arena it was so close!

A good number of homeless were hanging around the hotel and even one man came inside the hotel sitting in the lobby at night. The hotel should install more hangers for used towels in the bathroom. There is only one hanger by the bathroom door and the second guest doesn't have the place to hang his/her used towel.

Met our needs for a clean and safe room near our concert venue. Bonus for the teens was that it is also near a large mall. Water and coffee available in lobby as a courtesy. Also small snack bar area with items for purchase. Hot breakfast was available as well. Pool area was clean and secluded as was a small patio.

It was a good stay, the place was close to the mall and it was nice and clean. The only thing was a homeless guy being aggressive towards me for no reason no fault of the hotel but would like to share.

the compliment breakfast is awesome

The lady that was in the breakfast as upset. I asked if there was coffee and she was rude and visibly no happy and just pointed her finger to the coffee.

Lack of choices for breakfast

What I didn’t like was the breakfast. We got over there to it and there was no eggs, sausage or potatoes. So I decided to get cereal and there was no milk. Then went to get coffee and after a half cup it ran out. We won’t come back.

Same breakfast was served the entire stay. (Sausage, eggs and potatoes), no variation. Tub floor was very slippery. Bed was not comfortable, had dip in it. Advertised manager's cocktail hour in evening. Did not have. Temporary permit in elevator from 6/2023, annual permit is pending??????
