Great location but the pool left a lot to be desired. It was murky and there were no towels. In 100+ degree weather, , you'd expect to find them poolside, but the tall bin was empty and it took forever to get someone to bring towels out (and then we got room towels instead of the ones designated for the pool).

The Hyatt exceeded our expectations, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, the king suite with sofa bed were both very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely Mountain View. The gym and free rentable bikes were so useful and the location is perfect - easy to walk to bars and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were perfect. It made our visit from the UK one to remember! Would totally stay again and definitely recommend.

The $45 a day for valet parking is stated, what is not stated is that there is no self parking. Street parking during the day is for three hours only. As such, be prepared to pay the $45 per night valet parking. In addition, the room was old and not adequately clean. I will not be staying here again.

Parking is an issue. Unless you pay $45 for vallet, you have to find a spot on the street, which can be far from entrance to hotel. Other than that. No issues

Our stay at Hyatt Hotel was average at best. We have stayed at other hotels in PS for less, offering free breakfast and felt more comfortable in those hotels. Three issues we would like to bring up, besides the cost. 1. We were in a room across the street from the bar that kept us up most of the night with rowdiness and as elderly citizens, the staff should have known to place us on the other side of the hotel. It was not at full capacity. 2. There were obviously bed bugs as I was bitten 6 times in both my legs. Very disappointed! I insisted staff change the sheets which they did. 3. Parking, $30 a night and destination fee of $20 A DAY is really unnecessary and NOT likely to attract us to the Hyatt again. Disappointed to celebrate our 50 wedding anniversary at this hotel with these issues!

Well for my self and the family it our fist time spending this much on a room we’re excited to get a vip suite for the family. Well all I can say it that we were very disappointed with our room. My kid woke up to use the rest room only to end up scared because there we roaches crawling all over the ground. The shower which we were also excited about didn’t even work. And the a.c units were very loud. No bedding on the room even though I had said I have 4 kids we had to make the pull out bed which is ok but didn’t even have sheets ready for us.. so all in all the pool is the best part and for us getting a vip room well they suck and we won’t be coming back. We never come out because it’s expensive these days and we thought it would be nice you know because it was vip. Well I think the motel 6 room wise are nicer.

I really enjoyed my experience here! The staff were always friendly and the hotel is very clean. I was impressed with the size of my room and it was comfortable! The pool was also great! I was traveling alone and always felt safe. I even got to check in early when I arrived! Definitely would recommend.

While the staff is exceptional, the condition of my room was not. Scratched, dirty & worn furniture & walls. Peeling wallpaper, poorly cleaned bathrrom complete with black mold & a wet carpet in the ice room outside my door. The fan attempting to dry it was only useful to blow a mildew smell in the vicinity of my room. Not exactly the smell one wants to come back or leave to. Avoid room 239.

Terrible property. We had 2 nights reservation for 3 rooms, but non of was wanted to stay there and we left property second day. Dirty, stinking rooms, shower head was broken, noisy AC, stains on bed. Rooms were non smoking but you fould feel the smell of cigarette smoke. Pool is dirty also. Were keep calling reception but phones are busy all the time. Awful experiance. Do not waste your money and not screwed up your vacation.

It was nice being in downtown but the hotel is outdate. Pictures are misleading. When I got to my room the couches were old and dirty. They need to put new furniture and clean the rooms better. My sheets had stain.

My stay at the Hyatt Hotel was a wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable, and the service was excellent. Everything was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh, including our room. I honestly have nothing negative to say—not even about the hotel itself. The pool area was also well-maintained, clean, and very relaxing. I truly enjoyed my stay.

You’d think a Hyatt would be decent. It wasn’t. Only one elevator worked. Toilet was broken (ran without going back to it to make sure the seal was in place)…but worse: the room was filthy. An empty bottle of booze from the prior guests in the bathroom; a pubic hair on the toilet; a clump of hair on the wall in the shower; something nasty under the dresser…. The whole place is hopelessly outdated. Won’t ever stay here again.

Very badly maintained, hallways smell, the room is nasty stains on the sofa, carpet is filthy, the sliding door window was dirty, shower and toilet are plugged in several units. Guest complaining about cockroaches. Very disappointed and a very unpleasant stay. Definitely will never return. This hotel needs attention.

We booked the Hyatt because we thought we could trust the Hyatt brand. Nope. Our A/C was having problems and our toilet was running. After waking up in the middle of the night sweating because the AC wasn't cooling, we reached out to the hotel staff we were told, and I quote, "This is an old hotel, it's run down, that's normal here, all the rooms are the same, there's nothing we can do." My response, "Isn't this THE HYATT? What is going on? Never again HYATT PALM SPRINGS!!!

The property is conveniently located walking distance from restaurants, shops, and the casino. The rooms are spacious one-bedroom suits but need some updating. The room’s A/C needs improvement. The pool is small but nice. Overall, would stay again.

The rooms are in bad needing of updating. The hallways are scratched and dented up. Our rooms required us to enter them from outside (like a motel). The air-conditioner was almost non-working. I suspect the filters haven't been changed in ages. Definitely would not recommend. Gives Hyatt a bad name.

Great location to all the downtown activities. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar were good. Rooms are a bit dated and could be upgraded but well maintained. Expect resort fees, parking fees and high taxes on top of the room fee. If you know it going in you won’t be surprised. Took a room on the street side to enjoy the view of all the activity on Palm Canyon Dr. from our balcony. Take a Mountain View room if you prefer more quiet. We’ll go back to this property. Overall good stay.

Th front desk clerk told me that the room was not ready (3pm) but they would call when it was ready. The phone call ever came so I finally showed back up to the hotel at 5pm to check in with some minor complications on their end. I finally was able to get in the room at 5:30.

Honestly, the rooms themselves could use some look overs. Nothing terrible or bad, I think I just hated the carpet and toliet. Ha. But I want to specific call out a few employees. Marlene, Jennifer(or Jessica I am so sorry I can't remember) Benji, and Aly. Another lady at the front desk I cannot remember was just as great. Those staff members went above and beyond to accommodate my stay. Attentive, friendly, and the degree of patience some of them displayed with a hostile guest interaction I saw, should be commended. Nothing but grace. I highly suggest you thank these staff members for setting a great first impression and following up with amazing service. Eryn(sp?) a manager, she was cool too. lol. Anyways, put sunscreen in your little shop, kind of dumb not to have it. Ha

The customer service was lacking, with the exception of a couple of employees. We stayed in executive suite and the doors were so thin you could hear everything. Coffee pot wasn’t working. The 2nd bed wasn’t made and when I called to have sheets and a blanket sent up it took 4 hrs. Also, never once were the room phones working to connect to front desk or housekeeping. I constantly got a busy signal. I finally had to use my cell to call to the front desk to get someone to answer. We were so disappointed and will never stay here again.

Clean, roomy and well-run—this classic‑feeling Hyatt Palm Springs delivers valet‑free comforts in oversized suites with spotless beds, chill staff, and a relaxing courtyard pool. Even with its understated decor, the location, just a 5‑minute walk from Palm Canyon Drive shops, restaurants and the Art Museum is pretty cool. Prices are great in the summer!

Great location in downtown Palm Springs. Easy walking distance to the Palm Springs Art Museum and the Skyline Trail for hiking. Close, within half-mile of many different shops and eateries. Great staff and the elevators remind me of other Hyatt Hotels I've been to (Hyatt Regency Embarcadero, for one)

The front desk staff and housekeeping were a 10. The in-house restaurant needs help...it seems their employees (my guess is they're outside contractors) are doing multi-task jobs....the same guy is the waiter and bartender...they need better training....our breakfast was ok, but the server had to make 4 trips to complete our order.

Property was in hub of all palm spring activities. We paid for breakfast while booking the hotel, breakfast was good and all of us enjoyed it. Staff were very co-ordinal. Nothing to complain expect that they should have lower overnight parking charges.

The bar across the street is so loud well into the night. There were holes in the wall in my room and cigarette burns on the furniture. The shower was in desperate need of repairs and new tile. Breakfast at HooDOo was well above average.The housekeeping and desk staff are lovely and the location is great for walking downtown but not the property I was expecting for the price.

Overall it was good. Pool kind of small for size of property. Also the water was cloudy. There is valet parking which is pricey. I used to avoid moving vehicle from city free parking to street in 100 temperatures. This being said, valet staff were very friendly and professional. Restaurant has limited menu, sandwich type menu.

I used to stay here once or twice a year probably ten years ago, I stayed in some other hotels at rancho mirage or indian wells that has more amenities now, I was disappointed to see the bar by the pool is not open so you have to walk inside the hotel to get a drink that explains why most of the people take coolers or their own drinks, the only restaurant is by the bar which it has a electric fireplace very pretty but doesn’t work, the staff by the bar during breakfast and lunch specially are so helpful and the guy in the evening shift but they close the bar at eight the food was great I had breakfast steak and eggs it was delicious same with a turkey sandwich I got for lunch, I doubt it I’ll stay again since it’s too boring no music by the pool the bar close early etc etc some of the stuff by the reception needs to be more friendly the room like before it was nice too bad you have go somewhere else if you want to have fun

The overall hotel stay was very good! Great location with easy access to all the happening places, stores and restaurants. Beds are very hard; the exterior of hotel perhaps in need of a repaint; bedroom TV didn't work, but it was late at night and didn't want to be bothered so I laid on the couch and watched TV until I was ready to fall asleep and the remote probably just need a new battery. Staff was very professional, knowledgable, friendly and very helpful. Short hours for the bar and food - closed at 8 PM. All in all still a great place to stay and will stay again even with the hard beds.
