Breakfast was supposed to be between 6 to 9. It wasn’t out till 7:30. They didnt have any carts at all for luggage. The toilet was broken throughout our stay. Could hear cars driving down street. For the price, it was bearable. Ive seen worse. Unable to use bathtub.

Worst stay this place was dump took three hours to check in due to rooms not being cleaned and ready stay waiting in the parking lot in almost 90 degrees and after finally checking in and going to room it was still dirty the floor was sticky dust build up on the lamps musty smell a dirty spatula in between the counter and fridge old appliances horrible breakfast no pool or gym facilities people ding dong ditching the people staying on upper floor had no respect a police recording device that was monitoring the abandoned building next door went off in the middle of the night the only good thing was we were only staying one night of the 12 year doing the event we attended this had to be top 2 the worst hotels

The room, elevator all were not in good condition. Not sure if its on The website about pets and smoking allowed. Room smelled like pet piss, smoke and stale. There was an issue with elevator, 80 year old mom and aunt had to walk down thre flights. Can someone call me regarding this complaint. I also adresses it with Steven also who was at the front desk. Someone also hit my car and caused a dent and a long stratch. I called to report it and Jennifer seemed a lityle short with me and maybe its due to the complaint i made. However last night she had a lot to say. I just want to get it resolved.

Staff was very welcoming , check in was quick and easy. There were no hidden fees or deposits . This ESA is pet friendly yet i did not hear dogs barking constantly , walking the grounds there were no doggie messes anywhere . The staff was very quick and accommodating with all questions and needs ! My only complaint would be the stove . I wouldn't call it electric ? Im not sure what it is , it gets extremely hot very quickly and really cannot be adjusted ! I had too stand right over it and decrease cooking time constantly ! Not a fan of this type of stove ! I will say Hotel is clean, rooms comfortable and quiet . The price is very reasonable for all the property offers ! Wish there was an ESA in Sonora California .

Was annoyed that i had to walk to the front of the building everytime to get to my room because the card reader at the side of the building wouldn't read my card. It was way to hot to be walking the extra steps around the building

There were NO amenities in the room, not even a coffee maker. For an extended stay place, that seemed rather odd. Additionally, the hotel does not have an ice machine. When we asked at the front desk, we were told that there's an ice tray in the freezer in the room. However, we would have to fill the ice tray with water and wait for it to freeze in order to have ice. We were hoping to have a cold drink upon arrival, but instead we had a lukewarm drink. Was very disappointed overall and would not recommend this place at all.

I didn't care for the homeless hanging around the property and the beds were uncomfortable. There were also some challenges with the key cards

This was the most disappointing Extended Stay I\'ve ever been to. The rooms badly need to be updated. The dresser was old, which the paint chipping off. The carpet was stained and looked dirty and gross. The sink had several cigarette burns along the edge. This is the first hotel I\'ve ever stayed at that didn\'t have a blow dryer. Supposedly they have 5 in case people ask for them, and I was told they were "sold out." It was so major inconvenience and cost to buy one because I had to pay for Lyft to go to a Safeway in the middle of the night. The room didn\'t even come with a coffee maker or complimentary shampoo/conditioner unless you asked for it. The elevator was broken, and they put me on the second floor. I had two bags and one was heavy, so this was an inconvenience. I\'ve stayed at several Extended Stays from when I used to travel for business. I guess I assumed all or most catered to business travelers, but it seems this one is more geared to transitional living situations.

I had a week to book a room for a tournament our son was competing in, so I snagged this one up thinking for the rates it would be fairly decent. It was quiet and convenient for the reason of our stay. Everything in the room worked but it wasn't very clean. The kitchenette itself was pretty gross, there was hair in the shower and had this moldy smell. I assume the shower curtain has never been cleaned or was 20 years old. The hotel staff were all really nice. For what we paid for the 2 nights, I expected at minimum a clean room. I suppose overall the hotel was fine. I don't think i'll stay there again if in the area, i'll look around in more detail.

Looks rundown. To many things not clean. Stains in the bathroom sink. Bathroom door compared to kitchen space is tight you cant walk past if door is open. Would never stay here!

This property is in desperate need a deep deep cleaning. The only good thing about my room was that the bed sheets were decently clean, but the room and the hotel itself is a smelly dump. The chair in our room was so dirty I had to put it out into the hallway because it looked liked someone literally had an episode of explosive defecation on it. The hallways smell like dirty gym socks and sweat. The hygiene level is so very poor. It is a shame because the location is ideal for shopping and eating. It could be a great place, but it needs to be cleaned desperately. It is gross. The only think that saves it is that the staff is very friendly. The phone in our room didn't work, the clock on the night stand was not set, there was 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 guests. On the outside it was like an ashtray with cigarette butts all around the building. I will never stay there again.

Not clean

My husband and I were going to a concert near by and booked this hotel at the last minute. We checked in and checked out after only half an hour of being there. The place was so dirty I couldn’t imagine touching anything in the room much less sleeping there. It smelled so terribly of cigarette smoke and the bathroom counter was stained. We chose to drive 2.5 home hours after the concert rather than stay in this room that was already paid for.

Hotel didn't have my confirmation on file so I had to pay for my room two times, there was a live bug in the bathroom, there was random hairs in the shower & refrigerator. My family was too exhausted to move to another hotel so we made due.

this is just a place to sleep, the room is from the 80 and hasn’t been renovated. it’s fine, but it should either be cheaper or the room should be nicer. grab and go breakfast is just a muffing, cereal bar and some coffee.

I was on a overnight business trip. The first room they gave me the key did not work. I had to try it twice then I told them just give me another room. There was no room service had to go and get my own dishes from the front desk.

Steven the front desk person was so nice and helpful. the night desk person was rude as F**k. The TV didnt work. Steven tried to fix it. didnt fix it. I thought he was going to send maintenance, that didn't happen. Only one Night.

Room was comfortable. Front desk personnel friendly and efficient. Good location. Drawbacks hallways smelled strongly of food smells. Although the rooms have kitchens no dishes in the room, you have to ask for coffee cups etc.

The check-in went well. Clerk let us in promptly (doors were locked after 9p, we arrived after that time). We did not have to wait long at all. Property look relatively clean. Our room was clean & bedding, linens, towel sets were in excellent shape & smelled great. Our main double window in our room, however, had a 3" x 4" hole in the curtain backing. You could only notice it during the day. It needs to be repaired/replaced. Info cards in our room talked about the kitchen set a guest may borrow, & later in our stay we did ask for one. We were asked if we could wait while another one was being sanitized. We replied yes.

Check in was ok. TV in the room was not working and no available technician in the building to fix the issue. Door does not lock from outside, making the card key useless. Tried it multiple times to lock the door but dis not work. No phone on the room to call the front desk. I have to go down to address issue. Water in the shower/tub does not drain properly fast enough.

A dump with burn marks on the sink and a bad smell throughout the property. Tried to check in at 5:45 PM and nobody at the front desk. Had to wait 30 minutes for them to come back from lunch.

They were overbooked and denied my reservation. I had to sleep in my car.

Hotel did not honor the reservation, they called me at 5:00 pm saying they are overbooked and are cancelling the reservation. Service person hung up on me when I asked for an explanation. Worst service ever.

Had to wait quite a while to check in and out. My cell phone died while I was there and calling from the room phone was a disaster. Staff I was able to locate were friendly and was ok for a basic stay but I'll probably spend a little more and stay at a nicer place next time.

Showed up for the property after Expedia already paid. There was no staff there Me into my room, the security guard was the only one at the front desk. He was very disrespectful as well as the manager that he contacted over the phone who said that she is not getting up out of her bed to come and do her job. The property made me wait to get my refund after taking my money.

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent experience at your Sacramento Roseville location. I had a reservation for May 16th and 17th, as we were in town for my son’s tennis tournament. We arrived around 9:15 PM on May 16th, but I had forgotten my physical driver’s license. I presented both a digital version via the DMV-authorized app and a soft copy of my license, but your front desk staff refused to check us in. Despite explaining our situation, no effort was made to help. We had driven over 200 miles, and out of desperation, we even visited the Roseville Police Station seeking assistance. Ultimately, we had no choice but to drive back home another 200 miles just to retrieve the physical ID. My 11-year-old son had to spend the night in the car during this exhausting and distressing ordeal. The next day, I visited several nearby hotels, all of which confirmed they would have accepted digital or soft copy IDs under similar circumstances. This raised concerns about whether this strict policy is specific to Extended Stay America or simply poor judgment at your front desk. I understand the importance of ID verification, but this situation called for basic empathy and discretion. We were not a security threat—we were a family in need. I ask that your leadership team review this case and clarify if this aligns with your values and policies.

It was great, just what i needed! Everyone was very nice and professional.

I have used this brand in different locations in California. The moment I arrived I was greeted by Shardei (spelling) who I like to say in this industry a true professional…she checked me in and answered all my questions but more importantly is welcoming & friendly. Upon entering my Suite I found it clean and comfortable. My two small dogs approved the space of my suite for the area to walk around. I found the front desk staff from Angela (graveyard) & Steven (day) along with Shardei (swing) all to be an asset to this property and company. My King size bed is very comfortable and I slept soundly! A couple of items that would’ve made this suite perfect is a “love seat” couch or an Ottoman for the large comfy chair in the room. I called down to the front desk to request the “Kitchen-Set” all the necessary items for cooking & serving. The only reason why I scored this property 4-Stars was that the cooking pan was literally “nasty”…I opened the Kitchen set and the first thing I noticed was the Teflon cooking pan had seen better days. Unfortunately, the surface was all scratched up and looked burnt. I had intended to cook that night but decided to wait and I thank Steven who issued me an almost new scratch less cooking pan the next morning. Sunday night I finally cooked my Beef Stroganoff with perfection! I found this property so comfortable that I extended my stay. A job well done to the staff at the Extended Stay America Roseville CA. Staff were very amenable and courteous. The free breakfast was not much really but I appreciated what was there. None of the usual stuff like shampoo, drinking glasses came with room. You had to pay extra. Had a full size fridge, 2 burner stovetop, large counter, microwave, several cupboards. It was all very clean, updated. Real close to hospital which was why I was there and several stores, restaurants. For the price it was fantastic. Definitely would stay again/recommend!

Employee working check in was very friendly. The hotel has a freeway on one side and the other side has an emergency blue phone that made announcements all night long every few minutes. The blue phone was louder than the wall A/C. I walked next door to get some drinks at the gas station and there were a lot of homeless people next to the hotel side entrance and up and down the street. The hotel is pet friendly so the elevator, and room, had very strong smells of dogs. The elevator smelled like a litter box.

It was equivalent to a motel. "Signs for accommodations" but when I called the front desk I was asked to pick them up myself. Breakfast was cheap single wrapped muffins and packets of oatmeal. I would much rather pay an extra 20 dollars a day for better service.

Had to come to my doctor appointment, so this room was perfect and the places was peaceful and quiet and very clean. The breakfast was the only thing I was disappointed with, it tasted very old

Front desk individual was pleasant and checked me in reasonably quick, a little difficulty with credit card machine. Room was clean, no hair dryer which I thought was odd. If you are looking for the typical "Free Breakfast" you won't like this one. it was coffee, protein bars and muffins on your way out the front lobby.

This is just a place to stay. We were here for one night to see a show at a nearby (sort of) casino, and we didn't want to drive all the way home late at night. Everything worked. It was pretty clean. Service was fine. We got back to our room late and it was quiet. It didn't matter to us, since we're not breakfast people, but "breakfast included" is bagged pastries, granola bars, oatmeal and coffee.

They should not advertise breakfast. Prepackaged muffins and multigrain bars may be a snack but are not breakfast. No fruit or anything else except coffee. We had spiders in sink and bathtub. Refrig kept freezing food. Staff was very nice. Convenient location.
