The property was beautiful and the room was very nice. I was very disappointed that the pool area was closed. My Grandson was very excited to go swimming and use the Jacuzzi and was very sad when we found out the pool wasn’t in working condition. This should have been conveyed ahead of time. This was an important feature that we were looking for when reviewing hotels there was no mention of your pool and Jacuzzi not in working in order. I would’ve chosen a different hotel if I had known that.

The check-in and check-out process was very quick and easy for the hotel. The ice machines were down, but the rest of the facilities were great. The breakfast cost about 15 a person but it was delicious!

Disappointed in outward appearance. Dirty dried out landscaping, trash blowing around parking lot. Pool sun rotting chairs, no towels, dead plants. Lobby redone was nice but sparse. Coffee shop not open, gym closed, weird smell (glue?) in hallways. Overall run down but a mess bringing it back. I expect Hilton to do better, not allow it to be that bad before updating.

Was disappointed the hot tub was not working since we were looking forward to usinv the facilities, but it was inconveniently closed, and the towels for the pool were non existent with no umbrellas or shade for relaxing poolside.

The AC was not working and it was 105 degrees outside. The ice machines on all floors except the ground floor were not working and the hot tub was out of service as well.

Was less than stellar.. rooms were not really finished. Large, but air conditioning & heating did not work, tv was broken, no ice maker in the entire wing and bed had bedbugs! Woke up with lines of bites across my back.

Was a nice room and plenty of space. Room was not completely clean. Sheets and bed comforter were dirty. One comforter had blood stains, we just took everything off and had to sleep with no covers.

The carper was wet everywhere and dog hair everywhere. The bathtub didn't drain the Restaurant service was extremely bad . I would not stay or recommend anyone to stay at this property

This hotel has undergone a renovation, I am told. Everything was spotless and brand new. Staff was pleasant. Bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in!

Stay was alright. My hotel room was clean and comfortable. The shower / tub barely had enough water pressure to work. Facility doors and even my room door didn’t close on their own like they should. I had to make sure the doors were closed behind me or they wouldn’t have closed all the way.

This was an absolutely HUGE property, with a central registration and lobby and then about 6 outlying buildings with 3-4 floors of rooms each. All were connected with a raised corridor, so somewhat spider-like. It was a hike getting in for breakfast and then back to the room. The room itself was fine, the TV not so much. Probably the cable provider, with massive pixilation, alternating light and dark screens and some channels just not coming in or staying connected at all! The hot water took a long time to get shower hot, and then only when set to full hot. Aside from these things, it was a very nice stay, and I could park my car right outside my room window! The breakfast was really nice and inexpensive, probably $10 less than a comparable one at one of the competitive lines. I would stay here again, as I think the TV issues are not their fault, and the hot water actually was better the second morning, for some reason. And...There were a whole lot of AC and USB plugs in the room, a sharp contrast to some other Hilton properties that I have stayed at recently. All in all, an interesting and pleasant stay!

I had a pleasant experience at the hotel, where the staff was courteous and the rooms were well-maintained. Its location is convenient, being within walking distance of a shopping mall. However, I did find the noise levels higher than expected during my stay. There were fireworks being set off in the parking lot, and a number of motorcycles were circulating in the area for an extended period. It was difficult to sleep.

Although I did arrive at the hotel later in the evening, I still had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to check me in as there was no one at the front desk. The hotel staff then proceeded to ignore me until the computer restarted which took another 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. No apologies or anything. Needless to say I was upset and it showed. Still the system seemed to be having issues and I had no key to get in my room. Had no Wi-Fi service for the night as well. Horrible customer service. Really made the first night of my stay horrible.

Reserved king size room which wasn’t available, got downgraded to a double queen. Arriving in first room wasn’t clean from previous stay, got switched to a different room, staff was great in accommodations to move, they offered complimentary breakfast coupons that we did not use. As a Hilton Silver Member, I usually expect a certain level of service and comfort when staying at a DoubleTree property—but unfortunately, this visit was quite disappointing. Check-in took about 45 minutes, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. When we finally got to our first room, we discovered the air conditioning wasn’t working. Around midnight, we were moved to another room—only to find out that the AC in that room was also not working. It wasn’t until 3 a.m. that we were finally moved to a third room where the air conditioning actually functioned properly. By then, we were beyond exhausted, and our entire night had been disrupted. To be fair, the hotel itself was clean and well-kept, but the multiple room changes and lack of working AC in two rooms made this a very stressful and uncomfortable experience. I’ve come to trust Hilton properties to deliver consistent quality, but this time, they truly let me down. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to ensure a better experience for future guests—especially for loyal members who expect more.

When we checked in the front desk was so helpful and accommodating as I was injured so she moved me to a room that was close to the elevator, which was very helpful. Everything with the room was great. However, the ice machine did not work on my floor so I to walk to the frontdeak and back desk and back to find out where a working ice machine was. Which was super inconvenience for me with an injury. That information would have been helpful at check-in. Also this was the 1st Doubletree I have been to that ONLY gave 2 cookies at check-in which I didn't grab because my hands were full and it was 111 degrees outside and I didn't want them to melt as I was unloading. I come for the cookies Lol. Overall it was okay and in a convenient location across the street from a mall and plenty of food in the area.

Horrible staff took over an hour to check in and with all the issues when I spoke to management next morning I was told they cannot refund me they can only offer me free breakfast . Unexceptionable for a hotel of this size to not treat its customers better . No sorry just here is some free food

I had a mixed experience at the DoubleTree. The front desk staff were truly wonderful—very pleasant, helpful, and professional. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, which I appreciated. However, the noise level made it hard to enjoy my stay. Starting at 6 a.m., staff were in the hallway talking loudly, laughing, and banging equipment, which made it impossible to sleep. My heater also wasn’t working at first. Maintenance fixed it, but afterward it made loud, strange noises throughout the night. I was stuck choosing between being warm or trying to sleep through the heater noise and the hallway noise. Because of this combination, I’m torn between 3 or 4 stars. The staff and cleanliness were great, but the noise and heater issues really affected my rest.

The first room they gave us, was in a building with boarded-up windows and broken doors. The second room they gave us was nicer, but many sketchy people walked around the parking lot. It did not seem very safe.

2 visits w/in 2 months and both stays were great! Rooms were clean and the service was great! Starbucks and restaurant inside which was convenient. Hotel is across the street from Arden Fair Mall so lots of outside restaurant choices and stores in close proximity. We attended an event at Cal Expo and it was a very short drive.

The hotel itself is huge with about 6-7 large wing areas with about 4 levels each. A good bit of walking is required to get back to the lobby area for breakfast or meetings but not too bad. You park near your room so you can keep an eye on your vehicle, if you parked one. Sacramento is a fairly rough city with lots of crime and the surrounding area is probably not for the jogger, especially at night or early morning.

Convenient location. Property is outdated. I felt unsafe entering and exiting my room because of the rift raft people hanging around on the property grounds, as well as, some of the vehicles that were parked there looked abandoned and lived in. Fortunately my room had been recently renovated, but it was not the room I had reserved and I wasn’t informed about this until my arrival. I paid the price for a suite and got a regular room. They were unwilling to reduce the price and since I was already there checking in, I clearly did not have the option to go anywhere else,( because of my time constraints for an event that I had to attend that night).

The whole reason why i chose this property was for the restaurant and the bar. There was no notice until you got to the property that the bar and the restaurant were closed. I'm from an area where we do not have Uber and other food delivery services. I asked the front desk how do i go about getting food since i citizen leave the property, they told me uber some food. I informed them i am unfamiliar with doing that and they laughed. I just wanted help since i an from an area that does not provide that since my town is small.i do not appreciate being laughed at. I do not appreciate not being told about the closed facilities until arrival. Other hotels I've been at have the decency to let me know ahead of time so i can plan accordingly. I will not be back.

Liked that it had a bar and restaurant But on a Wednesday it was closed defeated the purpose of why i picked the hotel And room 3323 first nightn had no ac i complained they did nothing said it will be ok Changed my room nght 2 after 2nd complaint Front desk asked if i wanted a cookie I was offended and pissed off i paid 159 a night for a croo. With no ac and no restaurant or bar to go eat and rdrink at All i was given complimentary was bottle of water very unhappy And paid 10 bucks a night for parki g not ok
