The hotel was full of activity in the parking lot, the halls and room were so smoky we couldnt bear it. The pool was hazy and had alcohol bottles at the bottom, unusable. Very disappointing ecperience.

No elevator, you’re not aware of that until you’re you make it to hotel. No luggage cart at all. They claim it’s been missing for a while (someone took it). The pool is the size of an average size hot tub. The refrigerator barely keep thing cold even on highest setting.

Room was clean and comfy, but hallways had a weird smell plus smelled humid. Looked they are upgrading and doing construction in building, which didn’t really bother us. Our only complain was the pool was very dirty, it had a dead roach in it as long as other bugs, when my husband brought it up to the guy at the front desk, he said it was still fine to swim in 😒. We liked that it was close to river and could go for a walk but way too many homeless along the river.

The hotel itself was good and it offers free parking. It doesn’t have an elevator, but it’s only two floors so not a big deal unless you can’t climb stairs. They offer a continental breakfast. We stayed two nights. Our first night was great, but our second night was very scary. I was asleep when I heard a knock on our door at around 1:30am. Both my husband and I were frightened by the knock. My husband tried to call the front desk, but the phone was not working. My husband told me that that was the third time someone knocked on our door. We could also hear our neighbors laughing and talking very loudly. The surrounding neighbor was very sketchy. We were going to walk to McDonalds just a few blocks away, but decided it would be safer to drive. Thank goodness we drove because McDonalds had their doors locked and only drive thru was open. Down the street from McDonalds there were several tents for the homeless in the area. Even the hotel kept their doors locked.

Overall, the place was convenient and fairly clean, but the housekeeping was not satisfactory. The blanket and pillow covers did not seem to have been washed — I found hair on the bed, there were stains on the pillow cover, and it didn’t smell fresh. However, the front desk lady at check-in was very kind and helpful.

Staff were nice enough to switch the first room that had smell but the second room was not clean although there was no horrible smell. Hair on the floor, bug on the bed don’t know if it was a bed bug looked like one ,door all beaten up , couch all scratched up . Just not at all what you see in the picture and expect!

It's a simple hotel, but it meets the needs of a good overnight stay. Everything is very clean, the staff is friendly and the room is nice. The air conditioning was new in our room, which is great! The building is new, so that counts for a lot too.

While staying here there was a lot of loud construction going on early to the afternoon. My husband was here with my newborn while I was at a work conference. The loud construction made it hard for my newborn to sleep and so my husband decided to get him ready to take him out to a quieter place out and about when he got a call from the front desk. The women from the front desk said that someone complained of a baby crying. When my husband said he was about to leave. She asked, “well, what are you going to do about the baby crying.” My husband, of course, hung up on her. Why would you even call to complain about a baby crying when you could barely think with the loud construction work! Ridiculous! To make matters worse, the place had stuff still on the fridge when we arrived, sticky stuff all over the floors and trash (papers/ beer bottle caps) on and about the night stands. The breakfast had little to offer and the orange I decided to take to my conference for breakfast was half rotted inside. I would never recommend this place even for a cheap stay.

Sheets on bed seemed to be clean enough, room was filthy. Light switch in bathroom, floor, walls, headboard on bed were disgusting. Looked like room hadn’t been wiped down properly since pre Covid. Finger prints, stains, dirt, residue on everything. Toilet was not clean. Just filthy. Would not recommend unless those things don’t bother you. Front desk was very friendly. Just can’t get past how dirty the room was. Won’t recommend and will never stay there again.

Had no tv in my room, they moved me to a room with tv with no remote said they had no more rooms available and maintenance wouldn’t be there until morning. So I had my granddaughter with no tv for our entertainment and was told couldn’t refund any of my money for the inconvenience.

An adequate place for a roadtrip stop, that accepted our small dog. Management is nice and the room was clean. Our only issues were related to 1) sound and noise of others, ie.e heavy footfalls above much of the night and people talking loudly at 1am right outside our window loading a car. 2) Couldn't connect to the Wifi because neither Chrome nor Firefox would open their sign in page due to security concerns. So acceptable inside except noise, comparatively moderate price.

Door to enter and exit premises kept getting slammed everytine someone entered or exited. Very noisy. Woke me up. Bathroom too small for a room called Suite. Needs to be double in size to be a suite.

No carpet throughout the facility, gape in door jam light shining through. Window covering was not properly measured. Light shown through all night. People went out side to smoke right in front of my window all hours. Did not get a good night sleep. Disappointed.

It was a comfortable bed and nice front desk rep. In our room we could have used more towels. We stayed two nights with only two towels and the bath tub wouldn’t drain very well. Also the window blinds allowed light in all night since it was by an outside building light and there were no blackout curtains. Other than that it wasn’t too bad. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Do not recommend! Arrived to do a check in and the front desk person was on the phone dealing with his girlfriend apple pay while she’s in Dubai, didnt even look at my face or say anything but ask for my credit card. I booked a non smoking room and as soon as I entered my allergies went crazy, the room reeked cigarette smell. Tried talking to the front desk that stated, “we’re fully booked theres nothing that we can do”. I explained that I have asthma and allergies and the person stated, “theres nothing that can be done”. Do not recommend

The front desk operators were very courteous, they even gave us a choice if we wanted to stay upstairs or down . They did the work quickly and made sure we had everything that we needed. In the morning, we woke up late and they allowed us to check out late. The room and its amenities were not less than a four-star hotel. Breakfast did not have meat or eggs. I would still prefer to go there next time because of the cleanliness and courtesy. I did not get the name of the other guy, but we met with Sunil in the morning, and he was really very nice.

Check in time for the hotel is supposed to be 3 PM. We arrived at 3:15 PM and the Front Desk person stalled us for almost half an hour saying the “system was down” when really housekeeping was not done cleaning all of the rooms. The room above us was super noisy and loud - we think that is where the Housekeeping was stationed as they woke my husband up around 5 am. Alright for the cost!

The staff was very nice. Buy the area is sketchy and lots of homeless and drug users who hang out all around the hotel and in the back of the parking lot. As a female who had to walk my dogs, i was sincerely scared! I had three crazy men approach me out front of the hotel where there is grass, and i just turned around quickly and went back in. I reported it and the man at the front desk just shrugged and said there wasn’t anything he could do and pointed at the security cameras! I would never stay here again!

The room is descent. The part that made this room the best possible choice was location. Literally down the street from Discovery Park, 11-15 min walk from room to venue entrance. Midtown Sac is so cute, lots of restaurants, about 10-15 min drive, ~$8-11 Lyft.

Pros: check in was easy and the front desk staff was courteous. Cons: The toilet in my room was dirty and had urine in it. One-ply toilet paper. The breakfast offerings were cold cereal, toast, waffle. No protein except small individual yogurt. The check-out staff person was not friendly. Caution: The parking lot is open and not secure. When I asked about night-time security I was told to call the front desk if I noticed something in the night. Would not book here again.

Not great. The first room I was given the shades didn’t work and I was on the first floor by the pool. The second room smelled of cigarette smoke, but I was too tired to complain and didn’t want to go to yet a third room and the person at the desk was already fed up with me. I had asthma every night. Their “full breakfast” consists of yogurt, toast, fruit, 2 types of cold cereal and a waffle iron to make waffles. Coffee was out of both containers and took 10-15 to refill and the apple juice was out. At least the bed was comfortable and I had no problems parking my car.

Decided to stay at this hotel because of its affordability and because it had good enough reviews for me to take a chance. I really do not have anything that I consider to be terribly negative but I will say this hotel covers all the basics and not much more. I will say that the rooms were clean but again very basic. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Minimal options from bread, cereal, fruit and waffles. Those are your choices again basic. This hotel is very down the middle. I have stayed in worst and for an extra hundred bucks or so I could have found another place with a lot better amenities.
