It was wonderful for activities close to the Capital. A lot of restaurants in walking distance. The Staff was very kind and helpful. It was newly decorated and updated. The inside atrium was nice, bright, and open for sitting.

-Pros: Easy access to get to, welcoming personnel at front desk, very clean venue and room, spacious common area to relax and enjoy fresh coffee and tea. Covered garage for overnight parking. Welcome cookie. -Cons: limited and tight parking. A little bit outside car noise on a Friday night (it did stopped and quiet afterwards). No breakfast. -Recommend: a basket of fruits, like apples, bananas and oranges near coffee community area is always appreciated.

This was an interesting hotel with an indoor courtyard within the rooms on the second floor. It's kind of hard to describe that. Windows in the room face the inner courtyard which does have natural light. No restaurant in the hotel but plenty within walking distance. We came here for a show at Ace of Spades and it was easy to walk there from here.

There aren't a lot of parking spots for how many rooms there are, and the spots are pretty tight. If you have a full size car. Other than that it was great wonderful perfect.

The receptionist at the front desk sold passes to park in the area. When asked where they were good for she waved her hand around and said anywhere. There was no parking in the teeny garage so we drove around looking for parking. Not being able to find any in a 5 block radius we went back and asked if we could park in front of the meters with this permit. The receptionist never directly answered the question, but another irrate customer did- he had learned the difficult way (police ticket and fine) that they only work in the tiny garage and they sold 50 tickets that day even though there are less than 20 spots.

We checked in and paid for parking, then found that all of the parking spaces were taken. Oversold. The front desk gave us a map to a local garage, but it cost $60 for the night. Suddenly this tired old property, chosen largely on price, was as expensive as the high end impeccable Marriott down the street. We checked out so that the hotel could resell our room, moved to the Marriott, and are still waiting to find out if we will get a refund of the money we paid Travelocity for our reservation.

We stayed here during a last minute request for my husband to present his work at the Capital. With barely two days notice, I was so relieved to book a room here. It was a short walk to the presentation. There are lots of restaurants and coffee spots within walking distance. The hotel has an accessible water cooler and fitness room on the second floor. Finally, it's $18/night to park. It's comparatively cheaper than other hotels. We'll definitely come back.

Great location, but it’s otherwise it’s not much better than the average roadside motel. The main atrium on the room floors is cute, but overall the property is on the older side. Seems like they’re working on it tho. One of the stairwells was caution taped off. The shower was new and very nicely done, but in the same bathroom, the wall around the window was water damaged with peeling wallpaper. The bed was comfy, but the general king bedroom is very very small.

This is more of a motel than a hotel. The room and and common areas have been updated but the bathroom in our room was dirty. The elevator was broken so we had to use the stairs. The stairwell felt dingey and it was dirty. There cobwebs on the windowsills in the stairwell. The ac unit in the room is a wall unit. I had to put it to the lowest setting to keep the room cool at night. There were other properties that cost about the same that are a lot nicer and this place was not worth the price.

The initial room I was given had a lot of dried back up sewage in the bathroom sink so housekeeping was called in and I was directed to return to the front desk for a different room. I went back upstairs and tried to use one of the key cards to open the door. It did not work. This went on and on.....suffice it to say I will not book here again.

What an amazing hotel. I booked it based on price and location. This property exceeded all expectations. Clean, modern, beautiful, friendly staff, easy check in. Our room was decorated so nicely. Theres a beautiful inclosed courtyard in the middle with a free coffe and tea,bar and tables for seating. There was also another area with a beautiful large couch and chairs for seating. It was nicely decorated for Christmas. I will definitely stay here again.

Great location, comfortable room, old but well-maintained. Theres a nice little indoor courtyard area on the second floor with lots of places to sit. I'm certain this used to be a breakfast area. Now it was free coffee (good coffee!) and water and tea. The water was empty most of my first day, but got refilled in the morning. There are plenty of breakfast options within a 10 minute walk. Body wash in the shower was empty, however they did also provide two bars of soap, so that was fine. Room had a coffee maker and starbucks coffee, iron, hair dryer, even wine glasses! AC worked great, and was quiet. I will stay here again. Its comfortable and at a fair price.

As someone traveling on business, the property was good. Definitely showing age. I would spend a bit more and stay in a better location with family. The bed was comfy, the couch is weird and lots of patches and gaps on the walls. Windows looking into the building is odd and the windows looking outside is to a wall of the next building. Limited on-site parking. The employees were nice. Lots of great business in the area but walking to them gets depressing. At least one or two people per block who would like your attention and help. The park one block over is beautiful and I found myself going to MoJo’s sports bar a couple of times on my weeks stay. Great atmosphere to relax and watch a game over some delicious food and a pint. I would stay again but as I said, only on business solo.

The tub stopper in my room didn't work so I couldn't really take a bath and the heater was problematic so I was cold at night. But the area and location was so perfect to walk to the capital.

The Inn is centrally located and is convenient. It's off the street and is very noisy from the cars driving by all night long. It's also have no insulations. You can hear the activities above you and next to you. It's hard to have any sleep.

We had a great stay! The room was so nice - very spacious and clean. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows really big and so soft! The coffee and tea bar area was very nice. Lots of places to sit if you wanted to be out of your room. The coffee was delicious! There were a lot of great restaurants within easy walking distance. The customer.service was the best! Very nice, clean neighborhood. We will definately stay here again!

Anna from the front desk was a total sweetheart! She checked us in early and even helped with our luggage! The hotel is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The area is nice as well, Capital Park is beautiful. The only thing we did not like was the mattress, it was not very firm and my husband moves around a lot in his sleep so I didn’t sleep very well. But we know you can’t please everyone!

Check in process was super smooth. We arrived a few hours before check in time just to see if the room happened to be available. The lovely person working at the desk on 4/10 went up to the rooms to check to see if an equivalent room was ready and found one- super huge lifesaver as we were exhausted from traveling

This was my second stay here and I definitely recommend. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and the place has a cozy feeling. For being in downtown, the parking is easy as well. The hotel is the perfect size too and doesn’t have a corporate chain feel to it.

I love staying here because it is centrally located and very quiet. The second floor inside courtyard is a wonderful oasis from the Sacramento heat and a nice place to work. The staff are always courteous.

The location was quite noisy on a junction with motorbikes revving at 6.00 am. Also their descrition states that thye do not offer breakfast but they are surrounded by breakfast places to eat. Not true. I had to walk almost into the city center to find anywhere that served breakfast.

Decent place to stay. Doesn't feel like a normal hotel. Reminded me of a medical facility, maybe even a mental ward or a nice prison the way it was built, but it was nice. No breakfast, but a 24/7 coffee/tea bar. Good location for capitol stuff. Slightly narrow showers...felt like they were built as an after thought. No Pool. Staff prompt on cleaning rooms.

Not a lot of dining options close to the hotel for breakfast. It would be helpful if the hotel provided a breakfast or continental breakfast. Even if they had a map of restaurants in the area and distance from the hotel would be helpful.

Great location, comfortable room, old but well-maintained. Theres a nice little indoor courtyard area on the second floor with lots of places to sit. I'm certain this used to be a breakfast area. Now it was free coffee (good coffee!) and water and tea. The water was empty most of my first day, but got refilled in the morning. There are plenty of breakfast options within a 10 minute walk. Body wash in the shower was empty, however they did also provide two bars of soap, so that was fine. Room had a coffee maker and starbucks coffee, iron, hair dryer, even wine glasses! AC worked great, and was quiet. I will stay here again. Its comfortable and at a fair price.
