SureStay by Best Western Sacramento South Natomas

Staff was not present at check in or checkout. There was 5 groups waited 20+ at front desk for employee to show up. Room had a bad cigarette smell(unable to change room), several hole patches throughout room, dirty carpet and dated. It just felt dirty. Barely got any sleep. Loud people in nearby rooms until 1:00am. You could hear everything. Again no employee at front desk for checkout. We dropped key and left.

Person checking me in to the hotel barely spoke. She just took what she needed from me and gave me the room key. Wasn’t very helpful

Clean room. AC worked great. Parking not an issue. I understand and respect the mindset of the smaller rooms. Less to heat, cool and clean. One missed opportunity is lignting the overhead at the desk and the backboard/celiing lighting offer no option other than dark or BRIGHT.a desk lamp AND a nightstand lamp would provide midlevel evening and wake up options. Overall, would stay here again.

The property inside is run down. Needs new carpet, painting and new floor in the shower, new sink too. Room clean. The floor smelled like marijuana. Someone smoking marijuana in one of the bedroom.

This was a fine spot for a one night stay. The breakfast options were basically gone by 8:15. Everyone at the front desk was lovely and helpful.
