The staff was extremely friendly and the location is very convenient to Universal Studios. The property is older and could use some updating, beds were extremely firm but the room was clean. Parking is limited on site but they do have a lot across the stress for overflow.

We were only here for one night, for a day at Universal Studios. We found everything to be nice, clean and comfy. Everything was stocked well with plenty lotion, shampoo, etc! The shower was spacious, had great water pressure and was nice and warm. The parking lot is a tad smaller, but we had no issues! All the employees and staff we encountered were really nice and helpful! They also told us about the free parking across the street for people walking to ride the shuttle. They also helped give us directions to walk to the free shuttle to Universal Studios (which only takes 3-5 min to walk to.) There was a delicious pizza place literally around the corner that we walked to for dinner and it was really good, with very large pizzas! In the morning, they had some complimentary pastries, and a nice hot drink machine- the hot chocolate was really good, and not watered down at all! We will stay here anytime we make another trip to Universal Studios!!

Very small parking lot. There is a lot across the street that isn’t monitored or secure that you can park in if you have more than one vehicle like we did. The rooms were super super small, we had four adults and three kids. One bedroom “suite” with three queens and a sofa in total. The beds were really, really uncomfortable. The table had two chairs, one you couldn’t sit in without moving the couch and the other blocks the hall to the bathroom and bedroom. Overall, it was tidy and worked for what we needed, but I probably wouldn’t return with such a large group. The staff was wonderful, the night receptionist who helped me on our last stay was so kind.

The room was great for what we need it for. Super close to universal studios which was a big plus. Although parking is very small we managed to find a spot and not move from there the rest of the time we were there so that we wouldn’t loose our spot.

Clearly they’ve remodeled the hotel since our last stay here. New coffee machine in the lobby is AMAZING! Distance to universal shuttle is super close. Perfect place to stay when going to the park.

This property is showing its age. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. They offer free coffee/tea/hot chocolate and pastries starting at 7am. It is located within walking distance to the free Universal studios shuttle. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay here and took transit to LAX (metro within walking distance) to save some money. Definitely recommend this hotel to go to Universal Studios!

The only downside is the parking lot. Its kind of small and one of the nights we stayed, the were cars parked in the open srea which blocked off people who would want to get out.

Did not sleep there , stayed about 2 minutes as AC did not work and bugs that looked like roaches were coming out of the AC unit and around the bed . Management was told of this and key was returned promptly .

Very small property and rooms. If you're going simply to sleep, its fine. Parking lot is tiny and I'm surprised there wasnt scratches on my car, and everyone elses, because its so tight! We stayed in a 2 queen bed room, there was literally no room for anything but the beds and you to walk around them. For some reason there is a soaking tub that takes up somwthing like 1/5 of the room, which could actually give room for a chair or somewhere you could put your luggage. I'm 5 foot 5 and could touch the ceiling and no my arms aren't incredibly long! Walls are super thin, you can gear racing and your neigbors coughing. I thought, at first look, the room was very clean but after walking around for a few minutes, everyone's feet were dirty. Would definitely not stay here again.

Room was extremely dated, and very tired. Worn out furniture, no bedside lamps. Wardrobe door coming off hinges. Staff were great. Great location, to Universal Studios. The streets were full of rubbish. Bottleshop, and a couple of restaurants/fast food in walking distance to motel. Would think twice about staying here again. The owners need to spend money and upgrade the place.

Room was horrible. The smell was awful. Walls were dirty. Spots on sheets. AC wasn’t on when we entered room at 6pm. It was too high up to reach. Had to stand on small wooden chair to turn on. AC didn’t work it. Made a noise then cut off. Desk girl refused to send maintenance. Maybe no maintenance? Loose tile! Window blocked intentionally. So no window. However, there was a small sliding window in the shower. No interior lock on door. Door can be accessed by anyone with key while you sleep! Desk girl and guest were screaming at each other at 10:30pm. Hangers by your head by the bed. It was like a bed in a closet. We felt very unsafe. We left. We had made reservations and paid for 2 nights through E…. 10 minutes before we got there. Informed manager 20 minutes after we saw the room that we would not be staying the next day and were planning to leave that night. Then left. The desk girl refused to check us out and give us a receipt. She said we had to go through E….because we paid them. The manager refused to speak to E…. for 2 days… hmmm after the charges went through and he got paid. Then refused any refund. I was charged both nights. My credit card company had me document everything with photos and video before I left. I travel a lot. I understand it’s an Inn and wasn’t expecting a lot. But safety, up to code and AC in 90 degree heat wasn’t asking but the minimum. Definitely unsafe. Bait n switch from online to actual site. Read google for accurate reviews.

Hotel was as expected for the price and location. Room was small but clean and the staff were very nice. Location was perfect, only a few minute walk to the free universal shuttle and lots of food options in walking distance. Our room location was great, we had rooms 126 & 127 which shared a patio area with only one other room, it was really nice to have a small outdoor area to sit in the evening. We would stay again.

It was so close to Universal but the area is run down. Staff was nice and very friendly. Room was very small. I killed a bug as soon as I got in. There are no drawers to put your stuff. I had one small bag so it was okay for me.

The room is very small with limited power outlet. There is no coffee machine in the room and although they say "reception is 24/7", the lady did not allow me to get inside to get a coffee. She said I could only get coffee during their refreshments hour. The walking distance is the only reason to stay here.

Great location for Universal and nice staff but…room very small, takes for ever for hot water and parking is difficult. The location is 5 min walk to Universal shuttle. Nice that parking is free.

The rooms are a bit small but overall nice and clean. The location being so close to Universal Studios was convenient as well. But what really stood out was the incredible Custer service given by Saed. I was checked in around 9pm and Saed was extremely nice and welcoming. His professionalism and genuine friendliness set the tone for my stay here. You can tell Saed truly cares about the guest’s stay and experience here. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends and family.

The hotel itself is a great spot for Universal, and we picked it due to the nearness and affordability for a group of 5 vs the larger Universal hotels nearby. However, one of the key things we needed as this was a one night stay was to store luggage while we went to the park in the morning. We called the hotel prior to booking, and messaged them after booking months later prior to our trip to ask about this. Both times we were told it was available if there was room, and on the phone they suggested to come down early. When checking in we again asked about luggage storage, and the night clerk let us know it shouldn't be a problem, but let the person in the morning know and they could tell us for sure. To our surprise, when we went down in the morning for breakfast and to check out, for the first time after THREE conversations about luggage, they told us that it was unavailable until 930 or later, and that is the hotel policy. We had never been told that, despite asking about that over the phone, in email, and in person. They informed us our only option was to book our room another night (which more than doubled our cost due to I imagine the last minute nature of it). At that point, we would have been better off in every way booking two rooms for our group at the Sheraton or Hilton for one night.

We stayed for 3 night with a toddler, 8 yo, two teens and 3 adults. The Suite was a perfect size to keep us all together. The gentleman and night was amazingly nice, and the woman there in the morning was extremely friendly as well. No issues! It was a great stay that is so close to the park. Will stay again.

Room was horrible. The smell was awful. Walls were dirty. Spots on sheets. AC wasn’t on when we entered room at 6pm. It was too high up to reach. Had to stand on small wooden chair to turn on. AC didn’t work it. Made a noise then cut off. Desk girl refused to send maintenance. Maybe no maintenance? Loose tile! Window blocked intentionally. So no window. However, there was a small sliding window in the shower. No interior lock on door. Door can be accessed by anyone with key while you sleep! Desk girl and guest were screaming at each other at 10:30pm. Hangers by your head by the bed. It was like a bed in a closet. We felt very unsafe. We left. We had made reservations and paid for 2 nights through E…. 10 minutes before we got there. Informed manager 20 minutes after we saw the room that we would not be staying the next day and were planning to leave that night. Then left. The desk girl refused to check us out and give us a receipt. She said we had to go through E….because we paid them. The manager refused to speak to E…. for 2 days… hmmm after the charges went through and he got paid. Then refused any refund. I was charged both nights. My credit card company had me document everything with photos and video before I left. I travel a lot. I understand it’s an Inn and wasn’t expecting a lot. But safety, up to code and AC in 90 degree heat wasn’t asking but the minimum. Definitely unsafe. Bait n switch from online to actual site. Read google for accurate reviews.

The place is good for the price, clean, and overall ok. The surroundings are not safe at all, I would not recommend walk to Universal or from Universal outside daylight even in early morning. It will be better to take an uber/taxi. I saw Sheraton, Hilton at better location with a $50 difference, so would recommend those instead.

This motel is a great choice for universal. 5 minutes walk to the shuttle to the parks. The walk felt safe in the day but chose to Uber back as the walk back at night felt risky. The room was clean and ideal for a night or two, with food options next door. I would stay here again for the park.

It was super close to Universal studios and that's what we wanted. Very friendly and informative staff. Lowest price for the location and even though the surrounding area was eh, the hotel area itself felt safe. They had cameras everywhere so I felt as though my car was protected. Even though the room was small it was again, exactly what we needed. We weren't even in it much since our reason for being there was universal. The little plaza on the corner right by the hotel had some good food spots too and if you're getting drinks there's a liquor store right there too. Overall great place to stay, I'd stay again!

This hotel is in such a great location. My family and I were spending two days in LA with one of those days being at Universal Studios. It is a 3 min walk to a free shuttle to Universal. The hotel is also next to an amazing Taco spot (shoutout to Roadside Tacos) and really close to the free ways to get to downtown LA easily. When we arrived the customer service was phenomenal and the actual room was ready and very clean. I would stay here again.

This property is showing its age. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. They offer free coffee/tea/hot chocolate and pastries starting at 7am. It is located within walking distance to the free Universal studios shuttle. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay here and took transit to LAX (metro within walking distance) to save some money. Definitely recommend this hotel to go to Universal Studios!

My boyfriend and I planned a trip to Universal Studios, Halloween Horror nights for his birthday. There are 2 recommended hotels that are close to the park, both of which were a little pricey. We found this one and let me tell you, it was perfectly located. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the shuttle that takes you directly up the hill to the closer end of City Walk, near the park. By all means, we are people who know we will be at the park all day so the hotel is only needed to sleep and shower. So in that regard, the hotel room gave small studio apartment vibes. The bathroom was nice. The bed was comfy. There was a water machine and coffee machine in the lobby that was available 24 hours. They even provided breakfast treats from 7am to 9am. All in all, my boyfriend and I were so pleased with our stay, we decided the Nite Inn is where we will be staying next year when we return.

We were only here for one night, for a day at Universal Studios. We found everything to be nice, clean and comfy. Everything was stocked well with plenty lotion, shampoo, etc! The shower was spacious, had great water pressure and was nice and warm. The parking lot is a tad smaller, but we had no issues! All the employees and staff we encountered were really nice and helpful! They also told us about the free parking across the street for people walking to ride the shuttle. They also helped give us directions to walk to the free shuttle to Universal Studios (which only takes 3-5 min to walk to.) There was a delicious pizza place literally around the corner that we walked to for dinner and it was really good, with very large pizzas! In the morning, they had some complimentary pastries, and a nice hot drink machine- the hot chocolate was really good, and not watered down at all! We will stay here anytime we make another trip to Universal Studios!!

Very much appreciated the danishes and coffee machine in the lobby. The picnic table outside was awesome for eating outside instead of making your room smell like takeout. Super close walking distance to Universal. There is a nearby shuttle that will take you to the Universal park entrance. Be mindful that the Nite Inn parking lot is tight and not ideal for large SUV’s, best for compact cars. Bedding and towels were all very clean. You do have to pay an incidental deposit on debit card that they assured will be returned if your room has no damage.

We booked this place because it was walking distance to Universal Studios. The check in was simple, rooms were very clean and the servicewas great. There is a Fatburger and Subway restaurant that was only a minute walk and were open until 2am.

Clearly they’ve remodeled the hotel since our last stay here. New coffee machine in the lobby is AMAZING! Distance to universal shuttle is super close. Perfect place to stay when going to the park.

We stayed at the Nite Inn for only 1 evening. Overall there for about 10 hrs or so, but the place was perfect for what we needed. It was a small room, with a little desk, and a bathroom attached. Check in was easy having a 24/7 desk. We got there late on a Monday evening, and were out early. They had coffee in the lobby by the time we were up and moving. Overall, good stay for the price. We went to Universal Studios the next day, and it was a good location and not as expensive as some of the other “Universal” hotels. Parking was also included in the stay, which was great! They have a parking lot in front of the hotel. Okay location, but you can definitely find everything you need around you. Coffee, restaurants, things to do.

Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom is nice. Definitely an easy walk to Universal Shuttle. Things to keep in mind breakfast is prepackaged rolls that are put out in a tray. We did breakfast at Universal so this was not a huge issue for us but if you are planning on breakfast it can be disappointing. Also parking is tight, we did not drive so not an issue for us but I could see it being something others may need to be mindful of.
