It was nice that it was gated. The breakfast/ morning coffee set up was pretty bad. We couldn’t get thru to room service to bring coffee to us so we went to the restaurant at 7am to get some. The front counter person poured it and handed us some creams and sugars. The charge was $9.96. I thought it would be free honestly. It was watery. I wish hotels could make coffee easier to get. Otherwise it was a fine place

Constriction taking place at the hotel impacted my rating of the hotel. The check in process and check out process was seamless. I enjoyed the free parking at the hotel. Terrible outdated hotel , I booked this hotel because the recent reviews said it was new recently remodeled rooms and pictures . We paid $ 1387.00 for 4 nights to get an old room with disgusting dirty carpet and terrible smell. On our 2nd day we didn’t have water from 9-3pm they didn’t bother to inform us, we called front desk to ask why we didn’t have water and thats when they told us it was due to renovations . I’ve been using Orbitz and Holiday Inn for many years and is the first time I have such a terrible experience .

The Hotel is nice enough the room was fine but we also try to pick the large chain hotels thinking there the best ones and at $266.00 a night it did not impress us with the hot tub jets being broken, the maintenance person couldnt fix it, the pool was ice cold, you would think a large chain could afford to heat there pool and keep there hot tub running. Its always akward complaining to the staff and at check out usually the person working the counter will ask you how was your stay? They did not so it makes it even more uncomfortable to bring up the complaints : (

If you want to try to check in early, don’t. Got in about 1:30pm, front desk told me they would let me know when the room became available. I was never notified and saw the front desk checking in MULTIPLE people before me, even after I had been waiting for 90 minutes. Another red flag came when a cockroach went running across the lobby floor as I was checking in. Property is old, dirty carpet, VERY outdated rooms. Shower was also broken when we got into our room. Multiple people were having the same issue in other rooms. Had to check with the front desk 3 different times for maintenance ETA, took them HOURS to fix. Have never had trouble with Holiday Inn stays elsewhere and was very disappointed here. Would never stay or recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone.

The 11th floor smelt horrible. Stains on our sheets and on the floor in our room. I asked for a different room and we were kindly moved to the 8th floor. The 8th floor didn't smell bad, but the room did. It smelt like cigarette and old food. My family and I didn't feel comfortable staying the night at this property so we booked elsewhere. The staff was kind and friendly but the rooms/halls need more care and maintenance.

People were nice here and helpful. But why so low I found cockroaches in my room. Didn’t see them whenever I came in but once in room started seeing them. Very disappointed because I paid a lot for my room. If it didn’t have cockroaches room and place would be perfect for people to stay at.

I was dissatisfied, because I didn’t get the room ttype that I reserved. The newly renovated room was not very inviting as far as the style- modern retro. The only chair in the room was a desk chair, which was hard. The pillows and matress were very hard. There was also a fowl odor on the restaurant side entrance.

I really liked the check in, everything was clean. The air conditioning was good. Loud, but good. The beds and chair squeaked so bad when sitting in them or when my husband would turn over, that it woke my son (in the other bed) and I up anytime he moved. Also, I asked for a wake up call that never came and when I called to check out the front desk clerk was a little rude. It’s not a bad place, but the bed was horrendous and the night staff clerk(s) were not as good as expected.

The check in was very messy and unorganized. Not sure if they over booked but i had to wait for over 1-2 hours for my book to be ready. We asked for clean towels and we never got the towels after they had said it will take a couple minutes. We didn’t get the King Suite with sofa bed for three adults for two nights as booked and they kept changing our rooms and upon request three times finally to a twin room which was a hassle as it wasted two hours of our time moving luggage from one floor to another three times. The hotel gave us a tiny refund and took parking off to compensate.

Overall this hotel was just fine. It was clean but dated. It’s due for a remodel. We had a suite with 2 rooms so that worked great for our family if 3. Plenty of room! Would have loved to have smart tvs. The 2 tvs in our room were old. The location was ok. It was quiet but surrounded by industrial buildings so not really an area we could go explore by foot. The staff was very kind & friendly!

Excellent customer service. Two associates helped me with a traveling need, and they came through for me. Nice room, pretty wood paneling in the bathroom. The only disappointment was that the restaurant is open only several hours for each meal period and closed in between. I wouldn't expect it of any restaurant. We arrived at 10 am and had to wait to get food. On the plus side, there's a well-stocked store in the lobby, qualotu food and beverages of all types. Good wine, even! Easy swipe to charge to yoir room. Nice lobby area.

All around a really disappointing hotel. The nickel and dime you for everything. They charge extra for parking in an industrial estate, they charge a resort fee (which by itself is ridiculous considering this is Torrance) and the pool isn't even open, the restaurant is extremely expensive and poor quality. The housekeepers will often miss your room and the reception will just say "oh sorry, nothing we can do about that". Half of the machines in the gym don't work.
