The Valets were amazing!! They went above and beyond when we had a mechanical issue with our car, a stressful situation was made a lot less stressful than it could have been. Rooftop pool is great, as are the views from the rooms.

The stay was nice what I didn’t like is they allow people from the outside to use the pool on the roof top for a few , because of limited chair we were never able to find a spot when we got there. Beside that the hotel was nice the location is also nice but a little far the the Hollywood walk of fame so all depense of your plan , I would stay their again

We had an awesome stay! The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The only inconvenience was the parking, we had to pay $70 per night for the valet parking as that is the only option we had. I loved the hotel but I’m not sure I’ll be staying there in the future as parking is too expensive.

Really disappointing stay. First the positives. The location is good if you are doing a variety of LA places to visit, ie the Studios, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Dodgers etc. the staff (with the exception of one) were really nice and friendly. Now the downsides - firstly the rooftop pool (which was one of the reasons we booked it), they sell day passes to non hotel guests, and during our six day stay we only managed to get a lounger once. One day it was completely shut (for a private party) and Friday and Saturday it is packed with party goers (100+), so our kids were disappointed to say the least. So it’s a party hotel right ? Not quite. The bar downstairs (called “The Riot House”) closed at 9pm if not early some nights, and the barman is rude and lies about the opening hours. The final negative which wasn’t great was we couldn’t get into our room until 5.30pm on our arrival day , which after a 12 hour flight is less than ideal. The management eventually gave us one night free (charged for 5 instead of 6) and waived the destination fee so in the end it was an ok outcome but wanted to post this to make sure other families don’t fall into the same trap re the pool or if like to sit in a hotel bar playing cards etc in the evening. We spent most of our late evening in our room.

The hotel was great minus only one elevator was working. The rooms were clean and big. They cleaned our room everyday. Check in and out was smooth and the staff was extra polite and bent over backwards to get us anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious but so overpriced but you’re in Hollywood. The rooftop was closed which was a bummer but it was winter. So many things to do and many restaurants in walking distance. We would stay here again.

We recently booked a few nights here and were very disappointed. Aside from the room being very bare for the price point the pool was closed on the day of arrival and then when it was open it was invaded by day pass holders which completely ruined the amenity for guests paying a premium for a room. It’s not an exclusive hotel, they sell day passes to their pool for a very cheap price and it gets so over crowded there’s no where to sit or lay. The cabanas get reserved by the day passers which make them unavailable for guests to reserve. It was beyond over capacity. Very disappointing. The surrounding area is what you would expect for sunset blvd. Parking is overpriced as well.

Our room was upgraded to a “city view” which was pretty cool, especially at night! The room was very clean, and housekeeping came every day which seems like a rarity since Covid. My only critique is I wish the pool was open late at night, we would’ve totally gone for a midnight swim. There’s a bus stop for the #2 right out front so that made it convenient to get around without a car.

I was not going to write a poor review as I know it can and may affect the people who currently work at the property. However… when I was checking out, the desk agent didn’t even apologizing for; 1) me having the change rooms 3 times on the first night checking in; at 2AM because two smelled like cigarette smoke and one smelt like Mold. The manager even had to come with me on the third try and still the room they “upgraded” Me too (same type of room as before, smelt as well. The next morning I had to bring the head of housekeeping into my room where they “shampooed it” but it still stank like cigarettes 2) after moving to another room, the floors water machine was broken, the desk light was broken, and the room wasn’t clean at all. 3) pain chipping on not one but most of the doors 4) the assistant manager gave me his card and asked him to email him if I had any problems after moving rooms 4 times!!!! He didn’t bother replying Anadaz should be ashamed that this property relies on the history of the old school Rock and roll vibe to tourists who don’t care and smoke in the rooms anyways Anyone looking to stay here, good luck with the smells and the staff that acted like they couldn’t care less Never again at anyone of your proprieties with your hotels.

Property is conveniently located near Beverly Hills and Melrose, which were some areas we needed to visit during our stay. Unfortunately our room smelled of cigarettes and our shower was clogged when using and toilet was running the entire night. The noise of the toilet kept us up. Not worth it, when you’re paying those kind of rates a night. Would stay at the Pendry next time for a few extra dollars.

The rooms and bathrooms are nice and large which I loved. And even though my room overlooked Sunset, it was quiet. The lobby, however, was not. It was loud and seemed to be hosting some sort of party or event on several nights that I was there. The rooms were clean-ish. There was a good amount of dust around the outlet plates on the wall by the headboard of the bed (room 312 if management cares to check). The hallways and carpets could stand a bit of deep cleaning. Points for good linens. The front desk staff was great and super helpful. The valet guys were amazing, really fast and very nice and I appreciated their thoughtfulness. I tried to get food from the restaurant one night 20 minutes before they were due to close but they had shut down early because they were slow so they lost points for that. Overall a good stay, management just needs to tighten things up a bit.

I have stayed at the Andaz in Scottsdale and was expecting a lot more. This is a very old hotel with small bathrooms. The rooms have carpet that has an odor. The hotel has a lot of weekend partiers and it shows. There were not any hotel staff in front or at the front desk when I arrived. The hotel in general looks tired and more like a holiday in. Not a luxury hotel for sure.

Liked that it's in a safe area, it's quite. Pool looked nice but it was a chilly day unfortunately. Disliked that they left a welcome card in the room from the previous guest. Made me wonder if the room really got cleaned. The towels looked like they were replaced. The fruit in the bowl started getting moldy. There was a squeaking sound coming from the bathroom wall so I had to close the door to sleep. The floor lamp has a blue light switch that never goes off. You can not turn off the light by the bed without getting out of bed. The floor light was nice when you get out of bed in the night but would have liked it a bit dimmer. Overall a nice hotel, just have some tweeking to improve.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. The room was overall comfortable in all departments from sheet, bed, shower, and small considerate things. For example, black out curtains, blue tooth speakers for music, a anti-slip map for the shower, and specialized shower heads to deal with require low water pressure for the city (so you won't notice it too much). All the staff were very nice to me and the breakfast in the morning was top notch. They also a had small convivence store downstairs, but I wouldn't recommend it having things you would actually need in a pinch. I do recall needing a nail clipper and floss, but none was in stock when I needed it. The location of the hotel was fair, but most note worthy places were are least 20-30 minute drive, but the stay at the hotel is more than worth the extra travel time.

Convenient location for many of the LA tourist spots. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel room was quite noisy due to the aircon (which seems to vary temp despite same setting) and fridge. Probably needs some maintenance and was the down side.

This hotel is clean, modern, and has great staff. Stayed only one night, but would definitely go back. The room I had (regular king) was big and super spacious. Bathroom was nice too. My view was of the hills and homes behind the hotel as I wanted a room in a quieter area. Staff was courteous and all lovely. Lobby area has lots of comfy seating, and has cold water and free snacks daily. Price was better for me on Expedia than direct through the hotel. Glad I experienced and Andaz hotel. I’ll be back.

The Andaz West Hollywood is the old but upgraded Hyatt on Sunset. The hotel has been remodelled with a music theme given its rock & roll hell raising past. The only issue is the property only had two elevators, and when it’s busy you can wait a while for one. Also if you have a low floor Sunset facing, the noice of traffic can be an issue. They provide ear plugs but as I’m not on an aircraft, I prefer not to. The staff try very hard to please which is very welcoming.

1,5 hours delay When checking in then getting the worst hotel room i have ever had. The shower became a pool after 30 seconds and promised an upgrade but after 1 hour they could only offer the same room on floor up.

While the room itself was wonderful and my view was fantastic, the service was lackluster at best. I’m still waiting for a callback after being on hold for 30+ minutes from the front desk because no one seems to be able to answer the phone there. Room Service left plenty to be desired- one instance I had to call two different times to figure out where my food was. Management needs to be on top of this because there is a lot of room for growth and improvement.

I spoke to 4-5 different cleaners, they were all very friendly, that was nice. The roof is nice for watching the sunset. I didn't eat at the restaurant, great options nearby for different tastes and price range/time allotment. The shower had great pressure and was nice and hot. Checking in and out was easy. The bed was comfortable. The area is very safe, and if you like to walk you can. Overall, nice staff, a nice room and location, felt like the right value compared to the range of either pricier or cheaper places to stay nearby.

Unfortunately, the staff was on strike during our stay. Therefore, we didn't have any housekeeping. The protests started at 7:30 am so late sleeping was not possible. No room service as well. It was miserable because of the union strike. I don't begrudge the protesters but management needed to do more to attend to the hotel guests.

The staff at the Andaz in West Hollywood could not be friendlier. The room was excellent. It is a terrific location right on Sunset Boulevard close to all of the restaurants. We had a most positive hotel stay.

This property offers free snacks and free wine hour . It’s centrally located and close to many things . It is on a slight hill so walking can take 10-20 minutes . But you see so much and find cute places

Anytime we go back to LA/Hollywood we will stay her. Our trip was quick and for the limited time we were there the service was great. Our room incredibly comfortable. ( I do rec the Hills view and not city - nothing bad just preference). Location is solid. Walking distance to a lot of places. Driving the area easy.

A hip Hotel on Sunset with many dining and shopping options in walking distance. The hotel is ok but not great. The breakfast was so expensive for the quality of the food. My avocado toast was meh and not flavorful. I was disappointed when the water in the room was $5 for a small Evian. Only one elevator was working that made it difficult to get back and forth to your room especially in the morning hours. The front desk was helpful when organizing taxi service and checking in and out.

Hotel is well situated and in nearly all respects excellent. Bar opening times are odd, rooftop bar closed during our visit (???) and main bar closed early in the evening…used to be called the Riot Hyatt…more like Quiet Hyatt these days;-)

Did not like the rap music at the pool on Friday afternoon. Lobby bar closes too early. Bad coffee at breakfast. Appreciated the wine tasting on Saturday afternoon, easy parking, daily maid service, pleasant staff from front desk to bar to restaurant to pool bar to housekeeping.

Loved location and hotel. But amenities were scarce-no water in room or typical bathroom supplies such as shower cap or soap. Parking pricey. Food good but wish rest was open past 9 on weekends.
