Our room was nice a spacious. AC worked well. Desk was always staffed and everyone was helpful, polite and kind. We stayed for 3 days and I never saw the hallway or stairs vacuumed, which were dirty. Pool and ice machine out of order. I would assume they are understaffed, but the workers who were present worked non-stop. Please, improve your breakfast selection and keep it replenished so no one has to ask for a bagel.

Our TV didn’t work and they did try to fix it but nothing happened after. Though I didn’t eat it I saw other people having to ask for breakfast items when breakfast was still being served (only cereal, and make your own waffles and juice) while I was in the lobby discussing a billing error. Pool was also closed and there was no mention of that when booking. Also only 1 elevator was working and again no mention of that.

Wouldn’t stay there again. Didn’t get the room we reserved, all of the ice machines were broken, and the pool had never been opened. It was also very noisy and most parking spots were taken by contractors.

Well i had to change original rooms due to dirty tub and shower. There were no ice machines on any floor that were operational had to go to the front desk. The wifi was not great and when trying to work remotely that was difficult. The house phone in the room was not working so if needed you had to walk down to the front desk. The one amenity that i was looking forward to using the pool it was out of order. I also had an item stolen from my truck and the item was locked up. I will not be staying here again

A very disappointing stay. The pool was non operational even though it was advertised as having a pool. The staff was less than attentive-we had to argue to get new fresh towels (they only wanted to do a 1-to-1 trade for dirty towels but we needed more than the number supplied in the room to start with). The window in the room opened, but did not stay up--it crushed my hand and I had to go to the front desk to get ice since there are no ice machines accessible to guests. Will not be staying there (or any La Quinta likely) again.

Our room was clean and great location to Garden of the Gods, restaurants and shopping. The hotel is older and needs visible cosmetic repairs, the pool was out of order and breakfast did not have many choices.

Very nice, clean, spacious room. Very sad breakfast. Nothing was replenished and by 8:00 very little was left. Stairs needed vacuuming. Pool out of order. Had to go to front desk for ice.

Seems as the website photos are extremely old. Outer facade in person looked old and unkempt, some of exterior concrete stairs were crumbley. The rooms were a lot smaller than led to believe from photos. The shower would not maintain a constant temperature without constant adjustment. The floors looked clean but if you walk barefoot then the souls of your feet end up turning black.

The floors were dirty and the shower had mold along the ceiling. The employees use the covered parking in front as their reserved parking. It was storming so we had to get out in the storm.

Blood spots on the sheets, stained towels, shower water was either too hot or too cold. No in between. Microwave didn’t work and it was plugged in. Paint scraped off the walls and doors. Dirty, mold appearing tub calking. Sink drain stuck closed. I world have expected this in a cheaper hotel.

There are several issues with this property. 1) The rooms are almost clean, but the floors are filthy. We had to wash our feet every night before going to bed because they were black from the dirty floors. 2) Our keycards had to be reprogrammed every evening because they didn't work after we returned for the night. 3) Homeless people frequent the property during the day and smoke in the non-smoking areas and come in and eat the breakfast items. They also yell/fight at 3am over who's turf it is. 4) The breakfast bar is nothing more than weak coffee, juice, cereal, and bread/bagels. The toaster only works on one side and it's so full of crumbs it literally smokes because stuff catches fire inside. 5) The microwave in our room was an old over-the-range model that had a broken turntable, so nothing heated properly. The refrigerator was set on 1, but still froze everything in it. 6) The shower curtain was thin cloth that let most of the water out of the tub and the toilet wouldn't flush unless you held the handle down for at least a minute to fill the bowl with water.

Do not stay here! We got to our room and the bedspread had bodily fluid stains. We were appalled and looked at other parts of the room. There was water oozing up between the seams of the flooring when we walked on it. Bathroom was stained in many places. The room looked beat up, old and worn out. We immediately went to front desk and requested a refund (which they did] and we left the property and found other lodging.

This hotel was not in a very good location, the walls were paper thin you could hear everything next door even people talking outside of the room. Did not get any sleep the rooms were very small and the beds were not comfortable. We canceled our extra night and found another hotel

I could see the mountain from 2 directions. It was quiet even though it was close to the highway. Everything in the room worked, microwave, refrigerator, A/C, lights, hot water, bathroom etc. Beds were comfortable. Too many pillows.

Did not care for this hotel much. The person that was checking us in seemed confused about how the rooms were laid out. We were too once we got a room as the even numbers were actually behind the odd numbers, so the signs were misleading. Also did not like that the elevators were outside and there was no hot water that night.

Booked for 2 nights. Checked out 1st morning due to no hot water. Advised front desk at check out. Received an e-mail the second morning (one day after check out) asking for details for my check out. How do I check out 1 day after I checked out? When told again why I left early, they replied they would have someone check on the hot water (now more than 24 hrs later!

Our rookm door would not lock. We left our stuff unattended and when we returned found out our door was not locked the entire time we were away. We called the front desk and they came out and reset door. The entire night we felt unsafe and continued to hear sounds like people were attempting to come in our room.

Tried to extend my stay, attempted to pay 3 times. . They kept telling me to come back and the lady at the desk kept trying to pressure me to pay in cash for some reason. They tried to charge me twice for the security deposit and were extremely hostile to me when I said I couldn't afford to pay it twice. Horrible experience. Felt extremely unwelcome even before this and was treated terribly.

We were dosed to check-in at 3 and they still didn't have a room for us, we didn't get checked in until almost 6pm after a very long drive. I called the night hehe to make sure they had a pool and they said yes, of course. Yet when we checked in, is was closed and the pool stayed covered they said it wasn't working. And, when we complained they told us we can just cancel the hotel then. Like where the hell else were we supposed to go last minute!? Ww had 4 guests for our reservation and they gave us 2 towels with a smaller towel to use. Then when we asked for me they said bring us 2 n we'll give you 2 new ones but, that's all they had... definitely will never stay here again or recommend it to friends or family.

The rooms were super clean and smelled good. Amenities as expected. The young lady at the front desk was extremely nice, helpful and made check in a breeze! Loved her great customer service! It was convenient having walkable gas station and food places in the area. Also the fact that the entire hotel is 100% smoke free was a huge plus for us! I definitely recommend this place and it was a great deal on the nightly rate.

The Staff!!!!!!!! The on duty Manager allowed the Housekeeper to be Very Rude and disrespectful to me to the point that she made me Cry and i have never been treated like this at any Hotel Ive ever stayed at I would never recommend any of my friends or family to stay here it is by far the worst Hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life i will never stay here ever again

Very impressed with the staff; the breakfast there is the best that we've had at any motel offering the free breakfast. Room is comfortable. Appreciate that the front desk girl got us a convenient room as I asked her. We are in our 2nd week here. Do not care for the cable tv; other than a choice of news coverage, there is nothing that my husband and I watch.

First they way overcharged me for the deposit hold. My bill was supposed to be $158.30 and an $100 hold but I got charged $258.30 and the $100. I called to try to figure it out because all of those charges are still pending on my account and the guy was super rude to me and couldn’t give me a reason that I got all of those extra charges and claimed that I was wrong and only getting charged $158. The last night of our stay, we had three separate incidents of ladies yelling outside my window at 12:45am, a guy knocking on everyone’s door yelling and cussing and broke down a neighbor’s door at 1:35-2am, then the neighbors on the other side of the wall locked their loud cat in the bathroom while they had a yelling argument at 3-3:30am. I had to get up at 6am to drive a 10 hour drive. This stay was terrible, I am still overcharged at this time, and will not be back!

I booked a room using Hotels.com a week in advance. The room I paid for was supposed to have a king size bed. I got a text with a link to provide my information for check in. I completed it. One of the questions asked what time I planned to arrive. I indicated 8:00PM. I didn’t get to the hotel until 10:45PM. When I attempted to check in the person at the counter told me I would have to wait to check in because no rooms were ready; something about a problem with their housekeeping. When I turned around there were 19 (I counted) other people sitting around the lobby waiting for rooms as well. I had to wait 42 minutes to get a room I booked a week in advance at 10:45PM (almost 4 hours later than I indicated on the checkin in link that was sent to me. I tired to get the person at the front desk to understand how unacceptable this was. No accountability, no attempt to do anything except talk to me like their housekeeping issue and me not having a room was something I should just accept.

The place is definitely showing it's age and could use a makeover. Neither of the two ice machines were working and hadn't been for some time. The location is fairly convenient to fast food dining but the area around the hotel was mostly businesses. We will stay elsewhere the next time we visit.

Back side by train should be 45$ a night 14 trains first night then more the next overall I can't complain due to the other hotels were charging unaffordable rates if you want people to come prep staff on local places events restaurants low middle high mm ore assertive from people out of state they have to read and research everything make them come back to your hotel with good service all around. Add security walk around

Worst La Quinta I’ve ever been to. Very dirty and unsafe. The room smelled like smoke and urine. The clientele seemed very sketchy. Lots of people hanging around in the parking lot. After checking in and seeing the room, we immediately checked out and went somewhere else.

We chose this hotel because it’s close to the event we attended, desired amenities (free breakfast, pool) and fair price. We should have paid at least $50 more per night to get what we wanted because the price is too high for the value and here’s why. Pros: friendly staff at check in and out, clean room, clean sheets and towels. Cons: NO hot breakfast. The batter dispenser was broken, so no waffles. NO staff to re-supply or repair. Eventually the only front counter person was able to free up and re-supply but not repair the batter dispenser. NO provision for protein like eggs, sausage or bacon. Food service area cramped, seating area too small for number of rooms. There is extensive deferred maintenance throughout, unswept sidewalks and hallways, broken stairs. Our front door and bathroom door would not close without great force. And maybe it’s just me, but the room numbering is confusing, with even number rooms on one side of the building and odd on the other side. And I don’t mean across the hall, but other side of the building! In my opinion, this is a $125-150 hotel. I suspect it was an older independent hotel that was added to the La Quinta / Wyndham brand, but it clearly does not live up to that standard. My $.02

This property is like trying to exist in an Escher drawing. Ramos up and down. Go up to go down. Room on the third floor took TWENTY MINUTES to get hit water on the shower. Breakfast was less than minimal iyou didn’t want a waffle and a hard boiled egg. That was what was on offer. It was half as expensive as anywhere else so there’s that. I personally wouldn’t stay there again.
