Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs

10 floor hotel has 3 Elevators 1 of them was broken have to wiate 45 munites do go down stairs piad 400$ for only 1night stay and they charged $15 for unsafe parking

Water park great for 11 and 8 year old grandkids. Large hotel, ten floors,lots of rooms, busy and somehow the architects thought 3 small and slow elevators were sufficient. Spent lots of time waiting for elevators which were always jam packed with people. Good limited and very average.

Fantastic place for the entire family. Staff is very friendly. Pool lifeguards were amazing and observant.

Had to pay for parking. Food prices outrageous. Adventure maze was extra not inclusive with water park. Had to buy a card for every activity offered. Will not recommend.

The location of there property, with the views that it has, is beautiful. You can see Pike's Peak from the hotel and it is awesome. The thing I didn't like was the elevators up to the rooms. There was almost always a line to wait to go up. Need more elevators.

They charge for parking, which is okay. The problem is there is not enough parking so after paying for parking, you’re not even guaranteed a spot. As a hotel guest who drove 2hours to stay at the resort I have to park somewhere.

Great water park!

This hotel is every kid’s dream! Def worth the price - arcade, waterpark, bowling, mini golf, gravity ropes, ice cream and candy shops, dance parties, and so much more! Extremely helpful and friendly staff! Rooms very comfortable and super cute ( even the hand soaps were shaped in a paw!) In addition, if you don’t want to eat in the restaurants w/in hotel, plenty of options w/in less than a half mile radius. Only thing was the parking, it gets full very fast and if you don’t find, have to pay extra to be close by. This is a must-stay for anyone w kids! Would recommend w/out hesitation and already looking forward to visiting another one of your locations!

Everything was geared toward profitability for Great Wolf Lodge, an outstanding model for any group that wants to see how to steer families and individuals into spending money. I thought the pool was included in the stay, and it was, but there were no slides or other pool options included. That would be an additional $59, 79, 89. When an average room costs over $500, I would expect other things to be included.

Rooms was very clean and nice. Had refrigerator and microwave. The hotel and fun area was so much fun! We really enjoyed the bowling and magic quest! It’s pricey so be prepared for that but honestly it was worth every penny! Make sure to buy the play pass if you got kids big enough to do rope course and stuff. It will worth the money!

This property is amazing and all aspects very clean and all the staff is very polite and are willing to help at any time. Both my children enjoyed it very much they enjoyed all the activities and the water park is just amazing. Our family will be going again during the winter we had a beautiful Mountain View.

Beds and room were decent. A lot of the common areas needed more cleaning throughout the day badly. Add-ons are very expensive for what you get. Not worth the value.

I have been here many times, I felt like it not up to par, the eating area was never cleaned, the refill pop machine was dirty and never served. I told an employee that a little boy was puking at a table, so they would clean it up, nobody came over in the 30 minutes, I stopped people from using until we left. I hope no one got sick from siting there. Employees were really nice but over worked, when that busy you need to have more staff

First of all, it was very expensive! The suite was very small, the twin size bed was horribly dirty, pillow cases were dirty and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been shampooed in years. Our whole experience there was bad!!!

We loved everything about our stay here. The bathrooms in the water park weren’t very clean but other than that this stay was perfect!

Great location, we could view the Academy and Pikes Peak from our balcony room. The indoor water park is great. We just stayed overnight during our trip, but could spent a few days here. Plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance. The lodge dining was top notch.

Great Wolf Lodge is great for kids, they have a bunch of random activities to keep the little ones entertained but almost all of them cost extra $ except the water park which is included in your stay. The rooms are spacious but nothing fancy. We had a “Mountain View” room and technically that’s true but half the view was blocked by a giant bird poop covered AC exhaust pipe. Our room was also just two doors down from the open walkway above the grand atrium. This is a very loud area and trying to get a 5 year old to fall asleep with music blasting for their 9pm animatronic show wasn’t ideal. All that said, my kid really enjoyed their time at the lodge, but it’s very much overpriced. Paying what they’re asking per night for a room on par with a Quality Inn is WAY too much even with the water park included. If all their activities were included with a night’s stay it would be a deal, as it stands prepare to have your pocket book drastically lightened and feel underwhelmed by the experience as a whole.

It was a nice get-away for our daughter's birthday. The only criticism I have is around the digital nature of the resort. It wouldn't have been a problem, but the wifi was unreliable, so we couldn't use the app onsite to look anything up.

Room reserved was supposed to be a suite… hahaha… just because there is a couch in the room does not make it a suite…. No exhaust fan in bathroom…. Slow drain in tub…. Shower head not working properly, sending water out the shower…. Water park is out dated…. Side attractions need updating… no outdoor pool… needs more or better elevators…. Finding my stairs is a journey…. The breakfast buffet is average, almost comparable to embassy suites breakfast…. Very expensive to stay and play for an outdated waterpark and side attractions…. Would only recommend to try it as an experience …wouldn’t go back… I’m better off staying at Embassy suites and taking the kids to Waterworld or Elitch Gardens.

nice hotel.lots to do. they dont take cash for anything. so prepare to put it on your room or use a card. otherwise, it was good. nice rooms

Mattress was uncomfortable

The bed in our room was so bad I checked out early at 11 pm and drove home 55 miles away so I could get some sleep.

1 1/2 wait for room to be ready. Small cot advertised to be a full. Leaky refrigerator. Lumpy mattress. Food service slow. Staff was attentive and helpful

Room with Mountain View was great. Room was very spacious and clean. The facility and activities were average. Comparing with other resorts like the Gaylord I would much rather stay at Gaylord. I like that we got to stay here and have the experience but don’t think I would come back again.

The front desk staff were fabulous and the texting system is the first time I’ve stayed at a property with this system. It is amazingly convenient.

It was a great experience Willow was super kind asking if we need anything to help us. Definitely coming back with my family.

They double charged my card for the stay and added additional charges that I did not authorize. When I asked for a print out of the charges and informed them of the fraudulent charges, they stated they were “authorizations” and couldn’t explain further or refund the charges. The print out they gave me did not match up with all the charges they made to my card. They also could not explain that. I left the front desk frustrated and came back about an hour later to talk to a different manager. They still couldn’t explain the charges but promised they would refund right away. We’re talking about thousand dollars worth of charges. I still have not received my refund or an explanation.

The staff was exceptional! Everything is family oriented and convenient.

When we arrived all was good. Then we get to our room And get ready for bed and the pull out bed looked as though mice had been inside of it. Then when we tell them they did nothing for us. Also check your bank accounts after you leave. They will charge you for the smallest things. We still do not have a full receipt of why we were charged and what for. I do not recommend going there with your family as they did not follow up with thier word on refunding the money they took from our bank account and our families.

As I was arriving at the hotel to check in I waited in line from 3:00pm to 3:30 pm. all the staff seemed to not know what they were doing and I got pretty irritated as people instead of getting in line to ask questions just walked up to the check in desks and the staff instead of re directing them they talked with them for 5 min.. after waiting 30 mins in line I was told my room wasn’t ready and would receive a notification when it was done.. 5:30 pm came around and no notification was sent. Waited in line again for about 15 min and was told my room was now ready. After driving for 5 hrs I was pretty irritated.. the rooms were clean but trying to get any other service they seemed to be going thru a staff shortage… the chemicals in the pool were extremely rough on our bodies and recieved some pretty bad irritation… the neighbors on our floor could not stop running and screaming till 12am unfortunately I’m a light sleeper and could not sleep after that this marks an end to my stays at the great wolf lodge hotel chain as we loved the one in Arizona and we were planning to visit each one but I’m done after this

Staff was very friendly and attentive from the moment we drove up. Rooms were clean and there were lists of run activities for the kids.

The check in experience was terrible. The front desk clerk did not know much about the packages offered by the hotel. The touchscreen kiosk was not user friendly and we go little to non help or direction from the dedicated front desk clerk. The beds has blood stains and the A/C was not working. Overall, for the amount I payed to stay, I’d much rather selected a good Four Star Hotel. I will never come back to be a customer of this franchise.

Lots of restaurants around the area. Movie theater within walking distance. The only negative is lack of parking once its filled.

I mainly loved the location the property was in. Great shopping centers and dining options all around. The property was also very well maintained and safe for all ages

My kiddo and I had a great time here, he's already asking when he can come back lol My only gripe would be I think some of the food could be better. It wasn't awful or anything, but not as good as I was expecting. We ate at Barnwood for dinner and Buckets for lunch by the pool. The Chicken nachos from Buckets was the exception, we thought they were pretty good, but the burgers where lacking IMO The service was great and the staff was very friendly. We went in October and they had trick or treat stations set up for the kiddos and the staff where in costume and looked great. Overall we will be back because we had a lot of fun. We also like the location, driving to CO Springs is beautiful in the fall and lots of other activities in the lodge instead of the pool and even good stuff around the lodge within walking distance. Also one last thing, parking should be free IMO. $15 a night for parking comes across as a price gouge to me, especially since it's just an open basic parking lot. If it was secured or covered parking that price would be a lil more justified

The people at the Dunkin Donuts refused to help my with my drink. What I needed was not in the kiosk. They were literally standing there doing nothing at all! For the amount of money that I spent there, there should have been some sort of breakfast included. I can't eat much, so a $24 buffet breakfast isn't worth it. I had to go outside of the hotel to get breakfast.

I was really disappointed that on this visit we were not able to dine at our favorite restaurants due to one was under staffed so had a very long wait. The other Was closing so only serving drinks. We love taking our grandkids to Great Wolf lodge every year for the past 4 years. The kids love the water park. But the dining is our treat.

Many options to eat

$15 for parking is dumb, Food on site is way too expensive, pool area was fun but smaller than expected. Booked through Expedia and the description isn’t accurate. But overall we had a good time and the family enjoyed the stay

Pros: Amazing activities for fhe children, alot of different options. Rooms were clean up to date. Microwave and refrigerator was a plus. The decor was very woodsy the kids were so excited. The adventure pass was well worth it. The ropes course, the rock wall, bowling was all wonderful. We did not do the mini golf but it looked nice. We did do the morning yoga, which was well orchestrated. Food was decent. We only ate at Buckets in the water park and dunkin donuts. Cons: If you are going to measure the kids for heights it should be done once at check in. My son without shoes was tall enough at the water park (yellow) but at the ropes course he was told he wasnt tall enough with him wearing shoes. It was quite irritating, "same measuring standards" so to listen to my 5 year old cry for 10 mins and to have to watch his brothers do it was a huge downfall. The pullout couches you could feel the springs, my 11 yo choose the floor oppose to the horrible mattress. There was only 1 trashcan in the rooms. None in the bathroom. Overall it was a good time but could have had some things improved.

Extremely pricey comparable to stadium or show prices for food and drinks. Water park was fun though. Also parking is near impossible on busy days.

We had an awesome vacation. It was pricey but for all the activities we did it was good I wish there was more option for a buffet style food for breakfast and lunch would have been nice.

Our 5&8 year old boys loved the water park. Food at Loose Moose is not that great!
