The hotel was very nice, maybe a little too nice for us. If you’re prepared for the $50 a day resort fee, the $60 a day parking and the higher priced dining and drinks in the hotel. It’s very high end. There were events every day we were there, so we did not get to experience the s’mores in the patio. There’s complimentary coffee every morning but they also have a coffee shop with good coffee. The pool and hot tub looked very nice and clean and it was never over crowded with people. We paid in advance through Expedia and when we checked in the receptionist tried to charge my card for the entire cost of the stay without telling me what she was charging to my card. Other than that, the room was great, clean and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, qtips, water and coffee. There’s a fridge but no microwave. The cleaners came in and tidied our room when we were out and about, and there was no issue with check out. Overall a good experience and great room, just prepare for luxury prices.

This place is amazing, 24hr pool, great restaurants, the spa is big and with alot of amenities. Will go back again only downside is no free parking and can’t Venmo tips to housekeeping.

We loved our stay here. There is a free shuttle that will take you back and forth into vail village and surrounding stops as well. If you don’t want to wait for the shuttle (normally not longer than a 10 minute wait) there is a courtesy car that the hotel has that can take you where you want to go. Also free of charge. The staff was so amazing always asking if we wanted water bottles or little snacks. We had a rental car and because we came during off season we were able to leave our car in the Lionshead parking lot for free for the entire week. Or you can choose to pay for the valet at the hotel for $60 a day/night. We stayed in a deluxe king room where we had a balcony with a Mountain View and a fireplace. It was so perfect for the two of us. The room came with robes and slippers for us as well. Daily room service. The hotel is beautiful, our spa day was fantastic. If you schedule a service with the spa you have access to all of the amenities the spa offers for the entire day. I highly recommend staying here! 10/10 experience and we hope to be back!

I was looking for a safe place to take a solo trip to Colorado and the Hythe exceeded all expectations. Valet and room service were over the top. The amenities such as the fire pits, restaurants, spa, gym, and whirlpools made the stay even better. Vail village and lions head are just a short drive or walk away. So many great food options just minutes away. I can’t recommend The Hythe enough.

This is our third time staying at the Hythe and it has been our best experience yet. Simon checked us in and even though the hotel was sold out, he snagged a room for us on our preferred floor with a mountain view. The complimentary hot chocolate, smores, and fire pit made for a nice wrap up to a hard day of skiing.

This property was absolutely beautiful! The amenities were great, the location was great, and it was extremely walkable to get to Lionshead village and surrounding areas. Vail village was a very short shuttle ride, the shuttle comes right to the front of the hotel! Guest services were excellent, I would definitely stay here again

Loved this place. I know we where there between seasons, but the stains on the furniture and food left around trash can and then the yuck(clump of hair and bathroom garbage) we had to see every time we left and came back from our room was a let down.

Didnt see much staff while we were there. The cleaning people always said hello and were friendly. Valet was friendly. Hotel is very pretty and clean. Sheets and towels could have been better but were fine. Our balcony was great and room were very pretty. Was a nice mix of lodge feel mixed with modern. The location of hotel to Vail village was great. Check in was awkward. There was an issue with another guest so a line built up at the registration area. Understandably they had to focus on figuring out the situation but did not acknowledge any of us who were standing there. Two team members were helping the one client and then there was a woman who just sat at a desk looking her phone. A simple welcome to The Hythe and we will be with your shortly would have made all the difference. Instead the staff avoided us.

There aren’t enough superlatives for me to conjure in describing what an extraordinary stay and how extraordinary the staff was at every opportunity. Previous reviewers spoke about the level of service and willingness to go beyond the standard in describing hotel staffers. From firsthand experience, I can tell you this is absolutely true. To a degree, I want to downplay my compliments so as not to change the character of this hotel and keep it a secret but the truth is it’s an extraordinary place. It’s a gem. Its location wonderful, clean, ultra lux. Will stay there again without hesitation. Thank you Hythe!

The arrival and check in was GREAT. The valet and front desk were wonderful. The room cleaning was really slow (3:40pm cleaning one day) which made for post skiing showers and getting ready for dinner difficult. My wife is a Titanium level Bonvoy traveler and we weren't allowed a very late check out (12:30) the day of departure which was difficult as we had two rooms and four guests. Also, the server in the breakfast area was amazing and I unfortunately forgot her name. She was maybe late 20's, black hair, tall and attractive. She went way above and beyond to service our table for breakfast every morning.
The arrival and check in was GREAT. The valet and front desk were wonderful. The room cleaning was really slow (3:40pm cleaning one day) which made for post skiing showers and getting ready for dinner difficult. My wife is a Titanium level Bonvoy traveler and we weren't allowed a very late check out (12:30) the day of departure which was difficult as we had two rooms and four guests. Also, the server in the breakfast area was amazing and I unfortunately forgot her name. She was maybe late 20's, black hair, tall and attractive. She went way above and beyond to service our table for breakfast every morning.

Didnt see much staff while we were there. The cleaning people always said hello and were friendly. Valet was friendly. Hotel is very pretty and clean. Sheets and towels could have been better but were fine. Our balcony was great and room were very pretty. Was a nice mix of lodge feel mixed with modern. The location of hotel to Vail village was great. Check in was awkward. There was an issue with another guest so a line built up at the registration area. Understandably they had to focus on figuring out the situation but did not acknowledge any of us who were standing there. Two team members were helping the one client and then there was a woman who just sat at a desk looking her phone. A simple welcome to The Hythe and we will be with your shortly would have made all the difference. Instead the staff avoided us.

We loved our stay here. There is a free shuttle that will take you back and forth into vail village and surrounding stops as well. If you don’t want to wait for the shuttle (normally not longer than a 10 minute wait) there is a courtesy car that the hotel has that can take you where you want to go. Also free of charge. The staff was so amazing always asking if we wanted water bottles or little snacks. We had a rental car and because we came during off season we were able to leave our car in the Lionshead parking lot for free for the entire week. Or you can choose to pay for the valet at the hotel for $60 a day/night. We stayed in a deluxe king room where we had a balcony with a Mountain View and a fireplace. It was so perfect for the two of us. The room came with robes and slippers for us as well. Daily room service. The hotel is beautiful, our spa day was fantastic. If you schedule a service with the spa you have access to all of the amenities the spa offers for the entire day. I highly recommend staying here! 10/10 experience and we hope to be back!

This place was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the studio 301 which was one of the bigger rooms. It was perfect. Had tons of space, loved the fireplace - bed was comfortable. Nice spacious patio/balcony. Coffee in the room was the best I’ve ever had. S’mores were a bonus and champagne upon arrival. Everyone was friendly and kind. Will be back.

Loved our stay at the Hythe! Granted, we went when there was a conference, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. We stayed in the two queen bed sized room and it had plenty of space for all your belongings. The bathrooms are the great, it was very comfortable and the water gets hot FAST! I do agree with one customer, the toilet paper could use some work. The restaurant within the hotel is good, but it could use some additional options instead of burgers. The cleaning staff are absolutely perfect, they are friendly and will assist you with just about anything. If you visit during the winter, the lift is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. The one thing that was a nuisance was True North, I am not sure who they are hiring to work there but they do not have much customer service experience. We would wait about 10 minutes before someone from True North to help us get fitted. They are either high or just in a daze and not very accommodating. Overall, we will come back to the Hythe because of the friendly staff, the car valet service and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. It is a lot of fun and relative close to everything.

When we checked in they didn’t tell us us that the A/C wasn’t working in our wing of the hotel. We didn’t realize it was out until later, when the engineer told us it had been out for several days. They finally changed us to another pair of rooms (we originally had a 2 bedroom suite). The man at the front desk told me his manager authorized a significant reduction in the rate. When we went to check out, they tried to charge the full rack rate for the 2 new rooms. When I complained to the manager that morning she told me that there had been no notes about the new rate, and it took her about 3 hours, having to call multiple people to clear the problem. It is beyond comprehension that a major corporation like Marriott can’t have systems in place to train employees to adequately manage their luxury hotels.

There aren’t enough superlatives for me to conjure in describing what an extraordinary stay and how extraordinary the staff was at every opportunity. Previous reviewers spoke about the level of service and willingness to go beyond the standard in describing hotel staffers. From firsthand experience, I can tell you this is absolutely true. To a degree, I want to downplay my compliments so as not to change the character of this hotel and keep it a secret but the truth is it’s an extraordinary place. It’s a gem. Our go to resort in Vail on a yearly basis. The hotel is great and the hotel staff is amazing!! Just the ski store that is in the hotel and connected to it called TRUENORTH has a manager and an assistant manger who were despicable racist people. It is a shame that they have these people deal with children passing through the store all day (as it a mandatory passage way to get into the hotel). They are rude abrasive racist individuals.

We were quite pleased! We were on our honeymoon and The Hythe definitely met our expectations! We loved the daily hot chocolate and s’mores bar, added a bit of fun. The location is perfect, short walk to town and the bus service is awesome which brings you right from Lionshead to Vail Square. It was an amazing trip and we plan to come on our anniversary!

I was looking for a safe place to take a solo trip to Colorado and the Hythe exceeded all expectations. Valet and room service were over the top. The amenities such as the fire pits, restaurants, spa, gym, and whirlpools made the stay even better. Vail village and lions head are just a short drive or walk away. So many great food options just minutes away. I can’t recommend The Hythe enough.

Great spot in the Lionshead village. Outdoor pools and hot tubs, plus a great breakfast for mornings before hitting the slopes. A short walk to the slopes and easy access for ski gear storage, again a short walk to Vail mountain’s Eagle Bahn Gondola.

This property was absolutely beautiful! The amenities were great, the location was great, and it was extremely walkable to get to Lionshead village and surrounding areas. Vail village was a very short shuttle ride, the shuttle comes right to the front of the hotel! Guest services were excellent, I would definitely stay here again

The hotel was very nice, maybe a little too nice for us. If you’re prepared for the $50 a day resort fee, the $60 a day parking and the higher priced dining and drinks in the hotel. It’s very high end. There were events every day we were there, so we did not get to experience the s’mores in the patio. There’s complimentary coffee every morning but they also have a coffee shop with good coffee. The pool and hot tub looked very nice and clean and it was never over crowded with people. We paid in advance through Expedia and when we checked in the receptionist tried to charge my card for the entire cost of the stay without telling me what she was charging to my card. Other than that, the room was great, clean and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, qtips, water and coffee. There’s a fridge but no microwave. The cleaners came in and tidied our room when we were out and about, and there was no issue with check out. Overall a good experience and great room, just prepare for luxury prices.

The amenities such as the fire pits, restaurants, spa, gym, and whirlpools made the stay even better. Vail village and lions head are just a short drive or walk away. So many great food options just minutes away. I can’t recommend The Hythe enough.

Loved our stay at the Hythe! Granted, we went when there was a conference, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. We stayed in the two queen bed sized room and it had plenty of space for all your belongings. The bathrooms are the great, it was very comfortable and the water gets hot FAST! I do agree with one customer, the toilet paper could use some work. The restaurant within the hotel is good, but it could use some additional options instead of burgers. The cleaning staff are absolutely perfect, they are friendly and will assist you with just about anything. If you visit during the winter, the lift is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. The one thing that was a nuisance was True North, I am not sure who they are hiring to work there but they do not have much customer service experience. We would wait about 10 minutes before someone from True North to help us get fitted. They are either high or just in a daze and not very accommodating. Overall, we will come back to the Hythe because of the friendly staff, the car valet service and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. It is a lot of fun and relative close to everything.

Great spot in the Lionshead village. Outdoor pools and hot tubs, plus a great breakfast for mornings before hitting the slopes. A short walk to the slopes and easy access for ski gear storage, again a short walk to Vail mountain’s Eagle Bahn Gondola.

The arrival and check in was GREAT. The valet and front desk were wonderful. The room cleaning was really slow (3:40pm cleaning one day) which made for post skiing showers and getting ready for dinner difficult. My wife is a Titanium level Bonvoy traveler and we weren't allowed a very late check out (12:30) the day of departure which was difficult as we had two rooms and four guests. Also, the server in the breakfast area was amazing and I unfortunately forgot her name. She was maybe late 20's, black hair, tall and attractive. She went way above and beyond to service our table for breakfast every morning.

Amazing place, since the lobby the person who took care of us was really nice and help us in every way she could. 100 points in everything. Smoores and cheese of curtesy in the afternoon. Beautiful place to stay.

Property was great. Valet and hotel car were courteous and on the ball. But room wasn’t available for 1h30 after check in time and had to call two different times for clogged plumbing. They fixed quickly but was horrible when overflowed onto bathroom floor!

Hotel was nice but for luxury hotel does not come close to ritz or four seasons in vail. Hotel very understaffed for holiday weekend. Def things that could use improvement. For price would not stay here again.
