The Breakers was a great hotel to stay for a weekend trip. The property was generally clean and well maintained. The rooms were also very clean and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed having a balcony and sitting outside at the end of the night before bed. The air conditioner kept the room cool. It was very easy to make a reservation for our trip at the Breakers. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They also offered a free courtesy shuttle to take guests from the hotel down to the beach / boardwalk and back.

Rusted towel holders in bathroom, beds were uncomfortable, 1 elevator for the whole hotel long wait to catch an elevator and with a handicap person it was not comfortable..first day there their shuttle service to the beach was not working. Got coffee at night and tasted old. Wanted to take trash but was not provided with extra trash bags.

Beach shuttle service. Loved it! Disappointed that hot breakfast is no longer served there. Just cold continental. The Breakers Hotel and Suites is a good deal but, the WAIT for the only 1 elevator is a long one and especially if you are older and or handicapped and cant do the stairs.

During our short stay, the pool was closed for "cleaning", as we were told. This was frustrating as we left the beach because it was a little chilly, and told our kids we'd be going in the indoor pool. The next morning, we had hoped to get a short swim in before checkout, but were told the pool would open that day, but they didn't know when. Communication would have helped improve this stay. The room was clean but seemed a little dated. The Continental breakfast staff was great, but overall the breakfast was underwhelming.

The room smells musty. The hotel front desk employee was rude, disrespectful and dismissive. There is rust in the bathroom. Stains on the ceiling from leaks. I tried to get a different and was denied. I so glad I am only here for one night.

The hotel pool was not very clean, you had to request housekeeping daily before 2pm and the Continental breakfast that used to be a hot breakfast is now only prepacked bagels and muffins with red delicious apples! Yuck. After requesting housekeeping multiple times and housekeeping not wanting to clean. Our housekeeper, Brenda asked us 3 times if we were sure we wanted our room cleaned or if we just wanted towels... She showed up after 4pm after we had already went and got our own towels and asked for a tip. For the price the accomodations were LACKING. Next time we will stay next door Tapestry for the same price...

The mattress covers in our suite were filthy. I went to turn down the sheets our first night there and saw the fitted sheet was loose, to find that the mattress cover had multiple stains, as I uncovered it more it just gets worse. I checked all the beds, trash fell from under the mattress the next mattress cover had black oil stains. The night staff just showed up to deliver new linens and left, no attempt to help us, no offers to remake the beds, even worse we asked them to take the dirty linens away. They said just leave them in the room on the floor. What!!? What is really disgusting is the beds, yes bed(s)more than one; bed was stained, and other mattresses stained with urine, were made and covered up! Poor management, poor customer service. The manager offer to discount our next stay. Thanks, but No thanks! No reimbursement. The Continental breakfast is prepacked garbage. It's despicable charging resort fees for less then prison accommodations. We cancelled our stay and found better accommodations.

Our stay was not as good as I'd hoped. The cleaning staff although we didn't use often but when called upon to bring supplies they were late. However, the staff was friendly and pleasant. The downfall to it all was having tiny ants in our room which ruined several food dishes and snacks. Not happy about that loss. I'd brought it up to the front desk, who acknowledged they do have ongoing issues adding the exterminator vvomes every two weeks. Yet the problem exists nor were we made aware of this offense. Not even an apology or even a credit or monetary offering of food ruined by the ants. I slao wish the balcony door offered a screen.

Our stay at The Breakers was terrific! The location is prime, with parking included. The room was immaculate, with plenty of towels, a fridge, and a comfy bed. The room was very clean from top to bottom. Breakfast was simple, but very convenient. And the staff was so friendly and helpful. A++++

This was our third stay in three years. Pros: location, beach shuttle service, balcony, free parking, great service from maintenance guy who came to our room immediately when we had an issue with the TV. Cons: the bed was hard - not firm - just hard and uncomfortable. No good sleep for 3 nights; low shower pressure and the temperature changed to really hot randomly; breakfast - they used to have hot food. Now it’s just very limited continental options. I don’t know if we just got a bad room because we didn’t have those issues during previous stays. I used to think it was a good value because of the price and location but if i can’t sleep because the bed is terrible then it’s not worth it.

This hotel is definitely past it's prime. The mattress was thin and hard. The a/c was very noisy. The room itself was slightly damp with a a bit of an odor. I will not stay here again and can not recommend this place.

This is an excellent property. Right off Rehoboth Avenue and a ten minute walk to the beach via Baltimore or Maryland Ave. There is plenty of dinning in the immediate vicinity. There is a shuttle to take you to the beach and boardwalk if you don’t want to walk with all of your gear. Our room was very comfortable. It was an actual suite with a small balcony. There was a microwave and refrigerator. The included breakfast was pretty basic, but enough for us to start the day and it meant we did not have to eat out all three meals. All in all it was a great stay.

Our lake view room that was booked and paid through Expedia ended up as a room on the second floor on the opposite side of the building, overlooking the parking lot. When this issue was brought to the attention of the hotel staff, I was told that regardless of the Expedia reservation description, I should have called the hotel directly to see if that room was actually available. It’s none of this was communicated in advance.Something is amiss.

This is the fourth time I've stayed here. I really appreciate having a balcony. There are balconies for every room. It is about eight minutes to the beach, making it very desirable. The one thing I would improve at this property is the breakfast. It is nearly all carbohydrates. Very boring. Even the bagels come out of a package. It used to be so much better. All in all, I'm sure I will be back.It

All Pros were location, conveniently walkable to shops, beach, boardwalk, restaurants and eateries, pleasant staff. Cons were the room we had was quite small. The bathroom was tiny although adequate. Disliked the ROKU TV as we could not connect to the Apps we wanted.

Room is very basic, but clean. Our room was across from the ice machine station, which we heard all night. Having a coffee station in the lobby is a nice touch. Breakfast was mediocre. Some staff were friendly; others less so. It was basic and fine.

We love to stay here! Several years in the making. Close to the beach, walking there several times a day, no problems. Family suite is our favorite and a must. AC is amazing and so refreshing after a hot day out! The beds and pillows are SO comfortable! Hotel staff also very nice. Bathrooms are good enough, water pressure could be better. We never run out of hot water, family of 4 here! We enjoy our stays here and look forward to next year! Thanks!

The room had terrible mattresses (very “springy”) and a broken shower nozzle that did nothing but spray like a fire hose. Otherwise, staff was nice, hotel was clean, pool was enjoyable and location is amazing!

This certainly is a hotel! And that's about it -- a place to sleep and keep your stuff. The walkability is perfect, the beds are not very comfortable, but that's tolerable. The house keeping staff were great, polite and welcoming. But whoever works the front desk is one of the worst property managers I've ever dealt with. We went to her to report that a fellow guests sunroof on their vehicle was open and that they didn't have a hang tag visible as everyone else did. Instead of telling us she would look into it or try to find the owner, she scowled at us and said, "That's not my job. That's not my concern. Who cares if their sunroof is open?" If we had left our sunroof open, we'd have loved it if someone had alerted management to that for us. It was just a really vile interaction and it soured our experience here. We won't be staying here again next year after this. Everything else I could live with, but I won't tolerate that negativity and uncaring attitude. That's grim.
This certainly is a hotel! And that's about it -- a place to sleep and keep your stuff. The walkability is perfect, the beds are not very comfortable, but that's tolerable. The house keeping staff were great, polite and welcoming. But whoever works the front desk is one of the worst property managers I've ever dealt with. We went to her to report that a fellow guests sunroof on their vehicle was open and that they didn't have a hang tag visible as everyone else did. Instead of telling us she would look into it or try to find the owner, she scowled at us and said, "That's not my job. That's not my concern. Who cares if their sunroof is open?" If we had left our sunroof open, we'd have loved it if someone had alerted management to that for us. It was just a really vile interaction and it soured our experience here. We won't be staying here again next year after this. Everything else I could live with, but I won't tolerate that negativity and uncaring attitude. That's grim.

When we realized we were at the furthest room from the elevator, we requested something closer. I was told that there wasn’t anything available. Even though we were there over an hour before check in. And other people in my family hadn’t yet checked in and had a closer room than we did. As did other people whom I myself witnessed going into they’re room. I was told by a second person after my 3rd trip down to the desk, that they could not move us because our room was now “dirty” and they had no one to clean it! This was my worst experience dealing with customer service and a supervisor in my life!

This hotel has by far the most outstanding group of employees, from Tori, who checked us in, to Virginia, who assisted Tori, to Kathi, the evening front desk person, and then to Mario, the shuttle driver. He was the most pleasant shuttle driver ever. You should be proud of the staff you have garnered.

We just had a wonderful time! It all started with the customer service given by Ms. Kathi :) she was kind and accommodating. I appreciated her making our first visit to Rohoboth a pleasant one! Everything was top tier! …and let me not forget the staff we ran into as well. This WILL BE where we stay during our next visit!

Breakfast was lacking. It is only open from 8-10 so not helpful for a team staying for a baseball tournament. Not all TVs had cable. Some you needed to sign into your own accounts for!! Front desk staff was rude and gave out personal information. HUGE PRIVACY AND SECURITY CONCERN!!! I booked a lake view. There was no such thing. I saw the main road. I was charged more than I paid on Expedia at the hotel.

From check-in to check-out we met the nicest staff members we have ever met. Everyone had a smile and good wishes! The building is older, but our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Rehoboth Beach!!

We stayed here before when staying in rehoboth beach,staff friendly,rooms are fine parking can be a little tight could be a problem in the summer breakfast was ok mostly prepackaged but you can find something to eat plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance but the beach is a long walk if your carrying beach gear and thats the only bad thing about Breakers hotel

Easy two night stay. I liked that the hotel was far enough from the main area of beach tourist chaos but close enough in walking distance. The staff was friendly and accommodated our needs. The free shuttle to the beach is a bonus.

The property was very neat, clean, and modern. I was not too crazy about the breakfast offer. It was open only from 8 to 10 AM and consisted completely of packaged snack foods and scalding hot coffee. Fortunately, around the corner, there was a very good café that served excellent breakfast called “Somewhere.”

We like the property because we were able to walk every where we wanted to go. The property can improve on breakfast options, the selections of reminded us of a small town gas station selection...and for the hotel to be 100% full they could have done better with breakfast

I really love the staff, they are so friendly and helpful!! The lady at the front desk and Kathy too were just awesome! The guy that did the shuttle and maintenance was fun and great too! The change in your breakfast is a damn shame. Last year was awesome and this year was pitiful!! The was a considerable reason I rebooked here!! It's a shame too, cause everything else I loved!

No servicing of rooms each day unless requested by 1 pm the day before.(!?) So, you have to go to the front desk to procure moe shampoo, towels, toilet paper, etc. Shuttle service was good. TVs ought to be adjust so the picture fills the screen. Breakfast was just okay. Real coffee cups would be appreciated instead of paper.

The Beakers Hotel was a great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. The location was great. Next to a park, two blocks from beach and shopping. Quiet location. Nice indoor swimming pool and continental breakfast included. Dining room was clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will be back .

This is the fourth time I've stayed here. I really appreciate having a balcony. There are balconies for every room. It is about eight minutes to the beach, making it very desirable. The one thing I would improve at this property is the breakfast. It is nearly all carbohydrates. Very boring. Even the bagels come out of a package. It used to be so much better. Beach shuttle service. Loved it! Disappointed that hot breakfast is no longer served there. Just cold continental. The Breakers Hotel and Suites is a good deal but, the WAIT for the only 1 elevator is a long one and especially if you are older and or handicapped and cant do the stairs.

Nice hotel in convenient location. Breakfast was included. Unfortunately, it didn't start until 8AM. Some people are early risers and may have to get on the road. 7AM would have been better. And never told that it was only a continental breakfast. Not even scrambled eggs. A bit disappointing.
