Location value and price was great for the suite that we had. Many of the ocean front rooms were not available due to work that was being done alongside the balconies unfortunately, most everything was closed, including the restaurant bar and there’s not really anywhere to hang out in the lobby area. The main thing is that it’s right at the end of the boardwalk.

I didn't like the service at the pool. I was told that No outside beverages are allowed by the server of the Kiwi restaurant to force me to buy drinks from them. The pool is a part of the hotel amnesties and we should have the liberty to bring any thing we want as long as it doesn't affect the safety of others. It is NOT announced on the pool entrance or area. This rule should be changed. Thank you

Had an oceanfront room that had a fridge and microwave. Bed was very comfy and plenty of pillows. The AC was relatively quiet. Even though we were right on the beach/boardwalk the room was extremely quiet. I booked it because I wanted oceanfront with an outdoor oceanfront pool and this is really the only hotel that fits the bill. There are 2 or 3 food options right at the hotel. Pool had food and drink service but you can't charge it to your room which would be more convenient.We had a great stay and will return.

The property was clean but dated. Rooms close and walls thin. Location right on the boardwalk and steps to the ocean. Pool extremely small and limited seating.

Nice hotel although with great location on the boardwalk but sometimes hard to navigate the halls. The small pool area was overcrowded, with nothing to stop non-guests from coming in, right off the boardwalk. Very nice comfortable suite with only drawback being, no shampoo, conditioner, etc. and frayed towels.

Stayed in a Queen Suite South room and it was great, except for the water pressure in the shower (horrible). Otherwise, it was super clean, and the limited ocean view was fine. Staff were all very nice. They have a great pool with adjoining bar/restaurant (although stick to the menu drinks...I tried to order a strawberry margarita and had to send it back twice...LOL). Great location close to everything. Would definitely return.

The Atlantic Sands is extremely convenient to the beach with great amenities including the Tiki Bar. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

Cleaning staff had no schedule. One day we were woken at 10:00, the next they didn’t show up until we called at 5:00pm and this morning they cleaned out our room while we were at breakfast. Toilet broke twice. Air conditioning didn’t work properly. When I called the front desk to discuss they hung up on me.

I previously stayed at this hotel so I booked again for the last week before back to school. I booked two rooms for my large family. I checked in and received the room keys. As soon as we walked in the first room, we immediately knew something was off. The room smelled horribly and when we looked around we saw mold all over the walls and ceiling. It was a lot and very noticeable. Not sure how the property could have let the room get booked. This level of mold is from constant neglect. I was supposed to be in this room with my two babies. I went to the front desk to show them pictures of all the mold. There were no rooms available. I requested a refund of the room. My family then had to share the remaining room. We were crowded but what could we do. One of the bed options was a sofa bed. We pulled it out and the mattress also had mold. At this point, this is just getting absurd. The mattress and the frame was covered in mold. We requested a new mattress and luckily we got one but it still felt ick to be in that room. Expedia has been amazing throughout but I can’t see myself going to this hotel again.

The bathroom floor and sink had hair. Room was not vacuumed and there was no body wash and soap. The carpet in the lobby has stains everywhere. Poor condition in overall cleanliness.

The property while dated was nice. But there were bugs in the bathroom I took pictures. Our box of Fractured Donuts was filled with ants when we got back from the beach. We had a room on the 4th floor. We didn’t bring this to the attention of the staff. Will not stay there again. Anna Hoover

Found 2 bugs that appeared to be roaches in the room. Bathroom was very small. Overall the hotel stay was fine. Would have been nice to have free coffee station available. Spent $40 on coffee over 4 days.

We go here every year for a girls trip & our stay is always great. The front desk staff are always friendly & efficient. Anything we request whether it be blankets or a problem with the remote control, someone is there within minutes to accommodate us. The place is always spotless. Can’t wait to go back next year.

This was a great hotel for a family beach vacation. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I was underwhelmed with the cleaning service. We didn’t have our room serviced once which was a disappointment with two kids. We tried working around nap schedules and at one point a cleaner was right outside our door. She asked if we wanted our room cleaned which I said yes. We were out of the room for 1.5 hours and when we got back the room still wasn’t cleaned. It didn’t look like there were enough cleaners for the amount of rooms. Other than that, the pool was great and being able to walk right out to the boardwalk and beach was a huge win!

For the price we paid, this stay was not worth it at all. There was no access to Netflix or Hulu, and the "queen" beds were actually just full-size beds. As a family of four, which includes two adults, a 2-year-old, and a 13-year-old, we found the accommodations far from comfortable. We booked our hotel for the July 4th weekend specifically for the balcony view, as confirmed directly by the hotel. However, we were disappointed to find that our balcony was positioned in such a way that we couldn’t see any fireworks, ultimately missing out on that experience. In short, this stay did not meet our expectations, and I would say it’s definitely not worth the price.

Room ready early, great parking available, ocean fron room was clean and updated. All the good things!

Rm 405 is ocean front on the corner away from elevators. View is AMAZING. We read review about bedbugs, but none in this room. The tub was draining slow. Maintenance came quickly to fix. Hot water ran forever. Shower water pressure was alright (another review complained). There is construction next door, but they start 9:00 am & stop 5pm. We didnt think it was that loud but if you are light napper, may want to consider ear plugs and white noise. May not be good motel for napping kiddos during daylight. We were here couple days and it was super quiet at night . . . heard the waves all night. Of course, its the dead of winter! Pleasant surprise a few blocks away, Rum Shack. $1 oysters 4-6pm happy hour got us in there, but the food is really good. They were out of key lime pie, unfortunately : ( We played BINGO and it was fun! DJ played songs and we guessed the band & name of song. VERY easy 3-block walk back to Sands. The shops on main street are almost all open this time of year! The Christmas lights are really pretty. We are coming back here again, since it is so close to us in NJ.

My only issue was how thin the walls are. I had to be up at 5 and the room next door was being loud until 3. We did contact the front desk and they handled it. But it was still happening off an on until 3 am. Just needs better insulation in the walls.

The location of the Sands can’t be beat, right off the boardwalk with the pool an easy stop on your way from beach to hotel room. The room was clean and comfortable but the walls were very thin and the hotel could use an update.

Our stay at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center was good. We enjoyed the conveniences of the beachfront property, shopping, and dining options. We reviewed an older (not newly renovated) oceanfront room. The view was great minus the times another guest was smoking on the balcony. The pool was open just in time before we left. While most things and everyone we met from the staff were fabulous, my only complaint would be to get better WiFi. It never worked during our stay. Thank you for your hospitality. We would love to come visit again soon.

Nice room clean and comfortable. Internet was not so good,could not rely on it. Could not connect our phones at all. Easy parking, location was perfect. Staff friendly and helpful.

Location was great, staff was friendly, and rooms were cleaner/more updated than I expected them to be, but that's where the good part ends. Elevators were ancient and incredibly slow. Sometimes we had to wait 5+ minutes for an elevator to even open. Never enough towels. No way to call housekeeping for more towels/blankets/pillows, so had to walk down to the front desk each time. 2 out of the 3 mornings we woke up in the hotel, we were woken up by the fire alarm going off. Condition of room was decent, but the rest of the hotel (hallways, atrium, etc.) were very dated/run down. Bed was probably one of the most uncomfortable beds we've experienced in a hotel, and they were doubles instead of queens.

The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a double queen room that was clean and spacious, with a living room, balcony and partial ocean view. Only wished the bedroom and living room were flipped so the bedroom was away from the entry and hallway noise. The hotel location is great being on the beach and plenty of shopping and restaurants.

We liked the location of the property. The restaurants are okay, nothing super spectacular there. On the second night of our stay there was noise coming from the tiki bar area below while it was closed. The noise was keeping us awake so my daughter and I decided to explore the situation. There were a group of people who were in The Tiki Bar after hours even though they were not supposed to be. I called the front desk four times between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. although staff was friendly ultimately nothing was done about the noise. It rwas a black mark on our final night stay getting no sleep. I contacted the manager who had been on vaccation during our stay. It's almost 3 weeks later and we are still playing phone tag. I was able to receive a few voice messages from the manager who told me that he basically talked to the employees and they determined that the noise was coming from the boardwalk. This was totally not true and not what we experienced. The manager did call me again and leave an email but for some reason I'm getting a message saying their server won't receive my emaisl so I have not been able to have an actual conversation with the manager from this hotel. I also contacted another manager from this hotel and left a voicemail for him but he never returned my phone call. When I call the front desk at this hotel it seems like the manager is always out so I can't get a hold of anyone. It was a disappointment, I feel discarded.

We loved the location of the hotel--great access to everything we need in Rehoboth. The room was very clean and attractive. The price was quite reasonable. We particularly enjoyed Alyssa at the reception desk!

Staff seemed disinterested in the guests, had to interrupt their conversations to get attention. The location of the facility is great but the hotel itself is very dated. Needs to be completely redone.

Really loved front desk staff Ana and Gus. They made my stay extra special. I even extended my stay because I felt taken care of. Room service staff was 10/10. Amazing team all around. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Atlantic Sands! The front desk staff should be commended for their friendliness, efficiency, and professionalism. I booked the room as a last minute trip for my parents, and shared that my father was in a wheelchair. The woman working at the front desk who checked us in went above and beyond to help us get registered/settled and have everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

We had a great stay! Staff in hotel and the cafe were the best!!!! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very convenient to beach,shopping and restaurants.

I was assigned an adjoining room which had no option to lock the door connecting to another room that was occupied. When asked for a different room, front desk kept insisting it would be fine but eventually agreed to give me a different room. Also, the front desk staff were not friendly at all. Upon arrival there were two staff members, one of them never opened her mouth. Definitely not a warm welcome!

The Sands is a few steps away from the boardwalk, stores & beach which is the selling point of the hotel. The staff were helpful & polite. The room was average at best. The property needs to be upgraded. Hallway carpets need to replaced and the couch in our suite should be replaced with a faux leather instead of fabric which had a light cigarette smell.

Location was good but definitely could use some upgrades very worn look.

The construction that has been going on for over a year really leaves a lot to be desired. It effects the parking, the noise level. I don't understand how is still going on. Absolutely ridiculous. I visited April 2024, October 2024, April 2025 Still going on gets worse each visit. Don't take that long to build anything.

The property itself was pretty good. I believe we were in the updated part of the hotel. There are a lot of weird smells in this building. Room was nice. Comfortable. There is construction outside that blocks the partial ocean view from our 2nd floor balcony. Had we known, we wouldn’t have paid more for the view. Bathroom was pretty basic. The pool was ice cold and the cushions on the patio furniture looked dingy and stained. That was disappointing as well. On a positive note, the food and drinks were excellent and the ocean view from the bar was superb!

On site restaurant and bar were fantastic and friendly. Also had great views of the ocean.

The best part was the staff at the onsite restaurants/bars - Kiwi's Kove and Kiwi's Tiki Hut. Excellent service and such a nice group of young people! Aside from the restaurant setting, we also had several other opportunities to chat and learn a bit about them. Though they were all awesome, we were fortunate enough to have the most interactions with ANNA. There were several times that she went above and beyond what we expected and was always so sweet. The Sands is so lucky to have her! The restaurants have a nice menu and all the food was great. Very nice cocktail menu as well, and you can't beat the open air view of the beach since it's right off the boardwalk. There's also a nice coffee shop with limited hours that is accessed from outside, to the left of the main hotel entrance. Hotel desk staff could have been friendlier and more personable. I did report an issue on our last day and the woman we spoke to then was friendly and responsive, but other than that, the feeling was lukewarm at best. The lobby is attractive and modern, but that's where it ended. Our room did not look like the newly refurbished rooms in the photos. The best part was the oceanfront balcony, but the room itself was tired and worn and they would not change our room. Side-sleepers: I recommend bringing some kind of padding. I kept waking up from rib pain because of the extremely hard mattress. I'll wait until the new hotel is done next door in 2027 before going back; we'll walk over to Kiwi's though!

We specifically picked this hotel because the listing said it included breakfast. When we arrived, they said there was no breakfast in winter.

The location of the hotel is the best thing about this property. They don't offer any breakfast which was a letdown. It's a beachfront hotel on the boardwalk. So, everything is within short walking distance. During busy season parking SUV might be tight. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were horrible. I took out one star in the rating due to the unwelcoming people in the reception.

Pros.. location, friendly staff, daily room cleaning Cons.. the hotel needs updating, clean rugs, welcome water coffee small snack. Somewhere to purchase snack.. booklet in rooms about the area.. Just dont get a welcome feeling when you arrive.. Meals.breakfast was horrible

There was construction going on next door, which was unsightly, but other than that, it's a nice property, right on the beach. There are lots of dining options in walking distance, and the people are super friendly. The rooms themselves are nothing special--kind of an ordinary motel/hotel room--but the location is awesome.
