I have been a guest at this hotel several times since 1994. I am not sure if they are in the beginning stages of a major renovation or if they just let this once beautiful hotel fall apart. There were hardly any guests staying at the hotel, all of the planters around the perimeter of every floor were empty, the finishes in the rooms were extremely worn and outdated. They advertised a pool and it was closed during our entire stay. They offered points for the equivalent value of our stay that we never received. The breakfast and the cocktail hour were the only things that didn't make this the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I will sadly never go back.

Staff and service at this hotel were generally very good. Breakfast included with made to order omelets are a plus. Rooms are dated and showing their age, could use a complete remodel. Hot tub was not usable on a February trip due because it was not clean.

First let me say that the staff was outstanding, considering that the property was gearing up for a major renovation due this fall. The room was clean and neat and the chamber staff did an amazing job, but a few details were beyond their control. The shower constantly leaked and dripped, even after reporting the problem the times during our nine day stay. In my opinion, the valve needed to be replaced. The breakfast was very good and there were many options available, however, they ran out of fresh eggs three out of the nine days we patronized it. The pool and patio area was very rundown. There were seven visible patches on the pool floor and several tiles missing around the coping. Also mold and mildew all around the patio area and furniture in need of repair. The advertisement for the property boasts of a shuttle to the beach and train station, but when we inquired about this service, we were informed that it was discontinued around a year ago.

Facilities were comfortable and almost extravagant. TV had some issues but was workable. Curtain rod pull missing, i told front desk. Was not repaired. Snack rack was abysmal, ice cream was thawed and refrozen. Breakfast was phenomenal. Hamburger at the bar was excellent. Free drinks at the bar in the evening. Quick elevator, no long waits.

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I've Ever Had!! My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had to switch rooms four times due to serious maintenance and health concerns. The first room had mold on the bathroom ceiling and a broken shower handle.I scraped my foot on broken tiles in that bathroom as well. The 2nd and 3rd rooms also had strong mold aroma and very poor air quality, making them nearly impossible to breathe in upon entering. They hit you hard once entering the room . Each time I was moved, I had to carry all my luggage from floor to floor and back to the lobby—wasting over an hour dealing with these issues. No one should have to go through that during their stay. To make matters worse, in the final room, the guest next door was chain-smoking, and all the smoke came directly into my room. It was disgusting and made it impossible to relax or sleep properly. On top of that, the thermostat kept shutting off and restarting throughout the night, making the room temperature unbearable. This was truly a nightmare of a stay. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you have allergies, asthma, or any sensitivity to mold or smoke. The conditions were not only unacceptable—they were a potential health hazard.

The hotel is in horrible shape. There is no maintenance, the room was super dirty. There were bugs in the bed and I was travelling with an infant and you would expect a clean room for the price you pay. Felt like staying in a $50 motel. I will never come back, so disappointed with Embassy Suites as we have stayed in others in the country.

Though the room seemed clean the mold smell was a bit much in the room. I literally only slept there as I was in and out but if I spent more then a sleep I would’ve had to change rooms or leave based on the musty mold smell in the room

The rooms were run down. The carpet near the sliding door was frayed, the bedskirt was not properly on, the wall behind the bed had chipped paint from the bedframe rubbing against. The beds were not made well. The lamp bases were rusty. I put the trash can out to be dumped and a new bag was not put in.

Room smelled old and dirty like cigarettes smell protruding from the carpeting and linens. Bathroom smelled like urine and bedding smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned. Carpeting had stains and curtains looked like they never been washed. Needs updating and thorough cleaning.

Told company I was working with that I was staying there and they said they never let employees stay there. I should have taken their advice and cancelled my reservation before checking in. I’ll think twice about staying at ES hotels in the future. Too bad.

I reserved and paid for a king bed when we got there I was told there was no king and the only room available was a double bed. The clerk had no empathy an told me that because we booked through a third party there was nothing she could do. The room smelled terrible. The room was musty, dirty carpet, smelled terrible and it looks so old. The stains on the lamp tells it all.

This is one of the worst embassy suites we have stayed at. The first room smelled badly of mold and mildew, second room had leaking ceiling in bathroom, black mold in bedroom on ceiling, and a/c vent was dripping water in bedroom. Third room couldn’t go out onto deck because it was ankle deep in water, and missing shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers in shower. The breakfast sausage links made me sick. Rest of breakfast was good. This hotel needs a complete remodel badly. Remember you get what you pay for, it is very true here at this hotel and shocks me that it is a Hilton!

There were roaches in our room. Not dead ones but lives ones. Seems like it’s an issues as I’m not the only review with that complaint. Other then that the staff was nice and the actual hotel was decent they have to do something about the roaches they are the small little ones too which tells me it’s an infestation.

The stay was ok. I love the atmosphere at all ES and this one was no different. The rooms need some brightness, the showers are dated and not that great and worst of all is the mattress. No excuse for this, absolutely horrible beds, its like they went out of their way to make sure the comfort was almost zero in that bed. Shame on ES for this ridiculous level of cheapness. Worst night of sleep in a decade.

Initial attempt to use room key failed. Returned to front desk and work order immediately went to maintenance who promptly came to room and discovered that lock had dead batteries. Replaced! In room, went to turn on TV but TV not plugged into wall outlet...which was hidden behind large armor. Once again resolved by maintenance. Poor start to our visit...but staff was immediately helpful.

Our daughter attends a local university, so this is usually our "go to" hotel to stay in for convenience. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating, the atrium style lobby with a nice complimentary happy hour and beautiful complimentary breakfast is the selling point here! As far as the rooms... linens are good and clean, however every room we stay in smells like mildew. One time it was so bad, I had to switch rooms. If Hilton would just take the carpet out of the rooms and put down some sort of vinyl planking, it would be a huge impact on overall customer experience. The rest of the hotel does not have a smell, it's just when you enter the guest rooms.

I didn’t like that I stood for 5 nights in total and I had no maid service. I asked for it 2 times and no one ever came, had to get fresh towels from the front desk. Also there was a water leak in the living room and I personally told Luis the supervisor at the front desk and no one ever came. Called a few hours later and spoke to Luis again and told him no one ever came for the leak and he stated someone will be up shortly and no one ever came.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It is located off the beaten track so it is quiet! There are many restaurants in the surrounding area but not within walking distance. The hotel is undergoing some limited upgrades. During my stay, they were al external enhancements so not really a bother to the guests. It is a good hotel for business travelers to this area.

Clean and comfortable, staff available and helpful. The breakfast was advertised as a huge bonus, here’s where the problems were. There were lots of choices, everything LOOKED good, but all the food out in trays was cold and the pancakes were cementlike. It was a disappointment. Overall we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Hotel lobby and atrium is beautiful, rooms are in poor condition, but the hotel will undergo renovations this Fall. We booked here because the Embassy offers a really nice breakfast complimentary. However, this stay there was no protein served. Eggs, cold potatoes, pancakes, waffles, bagels, fruit. They do offer an omelet station, however we like to eat and go. No creamer in the dispenser for coffee. Definitely not the breakfast we have enjoyed in the last stays.

Omlete cooker is very very rude. Ive stsyed st hotel 10 plus times and he is always rude. And it sucks thst the bacon and sausage is now behind the grill bt him, he gets annoyed if you adk him for some, espically asking for seconds. The breakfast buffett is not good snymore

This hotel has a beautiful lobby. It's once you get past the lobby to the roach infested and dirty rooms that your disappointment will set in. This hotel is in serious need of pest control and whatever they are doing is not working. We killed about ten roaches in our room in our short two night visit. The breakfast was also poor. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. This does not live up to the Hilton brand.

Older rooms need updating,bathroom light bulb out, body wash empty should be topped off prior to guest arrival,also insects on floor in bathroom. Sink in bathroom had more water pressure than the shower. No grip on floor in shower easily could slip if not careful. Check in and Breakfast staff very courteous and nice.
