Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We were booked for a 3-night stay on the 5th floor, but on the day we arrived, the elevator broke down. However, upon leaving, we learned that Elevator A had been broken for months, and Elevator B had only been fixed briefly before it stopped working again. This caused a significant issue as my partner has degenerative knee disease, and my daughter suffers from a congenital condition that weakens her ankles. Climbing the stairs was incredibly painful for both of them, yet the hotel showed no concern or urgency in resolving the issue. We reached out to the staff, but no alternative was offered, and we were left to struggle with the stairs for the entire duration of our stay. We attempted to find another hotel, but everywhere was fully booked, so we were forced to stay. This experience was far from what we expected, and it significantly impacted our vacation. We feel that the hotel should have been more considerate of our circumstances and taken immediate action to find us a room on a lower floor. Unfortunately, this lack of empathy and support ruined what should have been an enjoyable getaway.

I didn't like the dust till dawn pool hours. I didn't like the fact that the fitness center was closed without any notification. There was a mess on the bar room floor of water when we got there. And for 3 days it went untouched

The room was clean for the most part and the staff was friendly. I loved that there was no carpet. There was hair on the sheets for the pull out sofa so it was obvious that hadn’t been changed prior to my visit. Ended up not sleeping on that but did pull it out when I left as a hint to housekeeping to give it some TLC before the next guests. The gym was down which I expected based on the reviews I read. What I didn’t expect was the pool to be shut down by the health department 4 days prior to my booking as that was the main reason I chose this hotel. Had I known I would’ve booked elsewhere. Considering that it was closed by the health department for whatever reason several days prior, there was plenty of time to update this information online with their partners. I also didn’t like or appreciate the extra nightly charges added to my bill for having my 16 year old son when I entered all the relevant information during the search and booking process. If there was going to be additional nightly fees for my child then that would’ve been the time to tell me…..not when I’m checking into the property at 1-2am after an exhausting 7 hour drive with a restless toddler.

The Jacuzzi was out order with only cold water wasn’t informed at check in. Was told it would not be fixed until the following week. The gym was also closed. The room was clean but had to switch the 2nd day due to AC not working the first night. The young lady at desk day shift on weekend was very helpful in getting us another room.

The pool and hot tub both were under renovation and that was the purpose of the trip to enjoy the pool and the hot tub. No notification was indicated on the website or when I check in. I saw therm working and at that time I could not cancel my reservation to find another hotel. Only one of the two elevators were working.

Hotel pictures are deceiving hotel needs a face lift . Pool was filthy and green ,elevators dirty ,bathrooms are old and gross i would not recommend a stay there .

The location was good near stores and restaurants. Front desk staff were very nice. However, the elevators didn't work allllll weekend and we were on the 4th floor😒.... very upsetting bc we both have arthritis very painful experience going up and down the stairs. The breakfast staff was nice but the selections were all that great. Overall the stay did what it needed to do.... Beautiful lake view though

The staff were friendly and professional. The common areas are kept clean. All amenities and pool was kept clean LOVE THE SUITES, VERY SPACIOUS All appliances were functional. Rooms were clean and no odor. The breakfast experience was excellent Parking was easily accessible as well as access to the I95.

In the morning my wife and I discovered insects in the bed. Hotel management acknowledged the problem but said that because the booking was made through Expedia our demand for a refund must be made through you. We look forward to hearing from you.

The pool looked dirty could just be the coating . Elevator very warm inside and took forever only one working. Room left a lot to be desired , front curtain didn’t close one side broke , bathroom sink cracked , mold in shower floor and ceiling. No place to sit your soap or shampoo in shower.

When I started my new job, I was moving from a different city and didn't have the keys to the new apartment yet. This hotel had the most consistently good reviews and it was a decent price for the type of rooms available. Thank goodness I chose this one! Every single person I interacted with was absolutely wonderful (Danica at the front desk was fantastic and so nice!)! There was an issue with my room, but they easily resolved it, no questions asked. The room was actually a 2-room suite! The living room was spacious, with a decent-sized desk/table to work and eat. The fridge was bigger than a mini-fridge, which meant I could have some groceries for the week without paying more to eat at restaurants. The bathroom looked like it was recently renovated; it was pretty modern, and the shower was heavenly after a long day. While the elevator and ice machine weren't working while I was there, the service and cleanliness were so great that I booked this same hotel again until we got the keys to the new apartment. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!!!

For the price, its solid. my room was clean, AC worked, bedding was actually quite comfortable, which was surprising. Breakfast was ok, not the best, but not the worst Ive had. I only stayed for a single day for an exam, Id say it was sufficient and would stay again. Staff was accommodating.

It’s a good value. Deerfield beach is 4 miles away. He room was clean. The ac was very noisy and not very cold. It felt like the bathroom had no ac. Cute mini balcony. The property is old and had been remodeled. The stairs and elevator could use a deep cleaning. It’s ok if you just need a place to sleep

The room #312 was spacious with a view of the pool out front and a view of trees out the back... although I had to ignore the white stone covered roof... no biggie. Free breakfast is great for saving time and a great deal with kids!

We had a really nice 5 day stay. Staff were all extremely nice and attentive. Room with suite was good and clean. Shower was new and excellent water pressure. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Pool area was so nice with hot tub. Pool is not heated and was cold. I didn’t mind it and swam but my husband does not like to go in when it’s cold. I was not a fan of the breakfast because the fruit they have is not good. Everything else was what you’d expect which is typical for this kind of buffet. Everything else is in good shape except for the elevators. They work fine but look run down. We would definitely stay there again when visiting family.

First the positives -Room cleanliness was good and front desk staff was friendly. Negatives -Elevator (1 of 2) out of service during our stay and fitness center closed the entire week we stayed. We booked and paid for 7 nights upon our arrival. During day 5 , we were made aware of a family issue that required us to leave one day early. We immediately notified the front desk (24 hours in advance of departure) that we needed to leave one day early and were requesting a refund for night 7. After 72 hours, we've been notified by hotels.com that Best Western Deerfield Beach hotel has denied our refund request for the 7th night. I have no incentive to ever stay at another Best Western again.

The hotel is not kids friendly I was kicked out the same day within five hours of being at a hotel because my kids was playing in the pool I was told I would not receive my refund and we need to leave immediately I was so embarrassed it was my son's birthday that I tried to ask if I keep them quiet can we stay because it is my son's birthday no one else was in the pool but us and I was told no leave the premises now

It’s a good value. Deerfield beach is 4 miles away. He room was clean. The ac was very noisy and not very cold. It felt like the bathroom had no ac. Cute mini balcony. It was hard to find because it was hidden in a business park. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast as the eggs looked slimy and French toast sticks were stale. We only tried it one morning. The suite we had was clean, however the furniture was dated. The bathroom was renovated and modern. Never used the pool or hot tub as it poured the whole time we were there but it looked clean.
