Overall, I was disappointed. This is not a property I would choose again. Mixed drinks are extremely overpriced. The two places that serve lunch and dinner there are very expensive and the staff could be a lot nicer. We bought breakfast with our hotel stay. Getting the coupons for that from the front desk was like pulling teeth. They really didn’t wanna give them to you, and you had to jump through hoops to prove you bought it. Now the breakfast was pretty good. It’s not something that they should be charging for. The people who worked in the breakfast area were very friendly. In fact, they were the nicest people on the property. The property could use some updates, especially the pool areas. FYI, the pools are not heated. That was a big disappointment.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! Two beautiful pools, 3 on site restaurants, balcony w/ beach/ocean view, private beach, and shopping within a mile of the hotel. Our room was rather large, with a bigger than usual fridge, and hands down the best mattress I have ever slept on in a hotel. Oh, did I mention that this place was very affordable too! We could have not been more happy with our stay and will definitely stay again when visiting Ft. Walton.

We just love the convenience to the beach. Although the property is older, if your family is a no frills, enjoy life on the beach kinda outfit, this place is great. The pizza, wings, and burgers aren't gourmet, but taste pretty good. Renting Umbrella and Chairs for the day is reasonably priced. We stay here whenever we come to Fort Walton.

I stayed in room 228, which is opposite the cleaning supplement room. At 6:30 a.m., the cleaning staff opened and closed the door several times. There was a lot of noise and chatter. This got me out of bed. I thought it was very rude to do this so early. The room wasn't very clean either. There were stains on the sheets. The location is great. The bar staff is also very polite. I don't know if I would stay there again.

Staff that checked me in was great, check-out not so much. They also charge $28 per night "desk fee" which includes parking but was not told about that at check-in. Room STUNK!!! No matter how much B&B spray I used the smell just kept coming back. Bathroom IS SMALL!!!!!!! Bed was clean and comfort was ok. Ice machines don't exist in said locations and the one that are there don't work. This place has been remodeled too much and at some point you just need to tare it down and start again.

Our room had sand all over when we got checked in. I called house keeping 4 times just to get toilet paper. They told us we got $25. For food or drinks a day but they didn’t tell us it would be charged the $25.each day we use it. getting fresh bath towels would have been nice ask house keeping to have new towels but always out of them

Very surprised to see Marriott in such a poor condition. Rooms were nesty, hallways were dirty and smelled bad. On top of worst condition, one plus for them is that they are extremely Hi-Tech. I mean dumb Hi-Tech who can't even checkin guests who already paid in advance due to Internet outages. I been to Marriotts in past but this one was worse. I am surprised that's it's part of Mariott hotels. Dirty hotel, dumbo staff..

I booked an ocean view. They put me in a 1st floor room for the disabled. The only view we saw was a brick wall and the roof with bird poop on it. The door was stuck. We couldn’t open the patio door. I paid almost $600 for my room. When I did bring it to the front desk attention his response was there’s nothing they can do. There was blood on the box spring. And sheets. They was hair on the outside of the bath tub and then there was a hat and boxers under the bed. Absolutely disgusting and I completely wasted my money.

We stayed here because this is where we stayed 5 years ago and loved it, but it’s went downhill quickly. No cleaning service was provided for our entire 4 night stay. There were 2 or 3 friendly employees and the rest acted annoyed when you ask them anything. We also watched a drone hover around our balcony until we spotted it, and it was flown away. The grounds and gardens that used to be so pretty have been neglected and are dirty and full of weeds. It’s also almost impossible to find parking. The view from the room was nice. The air conditioner worked. So there’s some good.

Nice, clean property. We were in a Garden View room where we could go out our patio door straight to the pool. The patio door frame was a little loose, but did work. Pools were clean, beach access was great, and staff was friendly. TV audio and video were not in sync when we did try watching a little tv before heading to the beach or retiring for the night. Overall, great stay, would go again

We were disappointed that our first floor balcony room was right over the garage roof. It also flooded with two inches of water following a rain storm, with no place for it to drain. The room itself was well appointed and very clean.Food in the two restaurants is unremarkable, so its probably best to eat elsewhere.

The room was clean & comfortable, only took 1 star away for bathroom. It was clean but shower was small and absolutely no storage for your toiletries. I carry mine & ziplocked bags & had to remember to bring what I needed into the bathroom every time I showered or/and washed my hair. They did have large pump bottles of very good shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hand wash & lotion so you can leave those products at home unless just have to use your own special products.

Asked the front desk lady when would the coffee be ready and she had an attitude and said she didnt know. Didn't try to find out. Didnt get up from her chair and was wearing a bandana. Others were nice but she ruined it.

Stayed almost a week. The staff here; housekeeping, bar tenders, desk, and especially breakfast staff, were kind, accommodating, attentive and truly friendly. The breakfast buffet is great. So much to choose from, made to order eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, etc. The room had a spectacular view over the beach. Just an overall pleasant experience. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel itself, and the staff for the most part were wonderful. Only real exception being the front desk, young lady when I went to check in was less than pleasant. My issue with my stay lies in the billing and fee structure around this hotel, and the almost punitive way that they charge for me using a third-party to book the room. My agreed-upon day was $288 and I understood that there would be a $25 destination fee (totaling $313) however in total my card has been charged around $400. And my intention was for the $100 incidental charge to be held against my credit card however, nobody asked me any of that before they just charged it to the card that I used for the reservation. Combine that with an additional $28.25 charge being taken after check out when I didn’t charge anything to my room. Honestly, the way the chargers are done. I can’t tell you exactly how much I have been charged.

Front desk personnel were very accommodating and friendly. Room was very clean . Bed was comfortable. Although breakfast was not free , it was great restaurant quality with a variety of food , fruits , and juices. We had chosen the breakfast option when booking , so didn't have to pay the standard breakfast price. Some other guests used the $25 daily food and beverage allowance to pay for their breakfast . Downside is housekeeping only every other day . Some remodeling going on , which didn't bother us. Road work near hotel made for traffic congestion at entrance and exit of hotel but this should ease after bridge work is complete. I would definitely stay here again. . .

The room was comfortable and clean, mostly quiet - there was some noise from nearby construction, but didn't disturb us or keep us from sleeping. Atmosphere in restaurants was nice. Loved the Upper Deck - so beachy! Limited menu at Dempsey's but what we had was good. Wasn't impressed with the breakfast buffet; too limited in selections. No noise from adjoining rooms. And of course, the beach is fabulous. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a good trip. I would recommend.

Breakfast was buffet style, but it wasn’t included—which it definitely should have been, especially since there were no options for people who don’t eat pork or meat. If I’m paying $19 for breakfast, I should at least be able to choose what I want to eat. I don’t eat pork, but the only options were pork sausages and egg biscuits with ham. I would like an egg biscuit with cheese why were there only prepared ones with ham . But I’m charged $19 for food I don’t eat. And to top it off, the parking situation was far from great

95% of our trip to Four Points was excellent! Everything is 100 yards from the beach. You do receive $25 in food and drink credit, but considering the prices of both, it doesn't go very far. However, $25 is still $25! The breakfast is amazing. The staff is great, patient, and polite. Like I said, an overwhelming majority of our state was top-notch. Our issues: Check-in is at 4:00, and we arrived at 2:30. Not a problem, we stored our luggage and were told we'd receive a call when our room was ready. We never got that call. Furthermore, we witnessed other people getting checked in early. Our other issue, our room was never cleaned. Not once. We saw housekeeping near our room every day, but never found our room taken care of. There's a sign in the room that says they'll be cleaned every other day, which is quite fine with us, but from Tuesday through Friday, no fresh towels or linens. Yes, we should have asked, but again, we always saw housekeeping out. Other than those two things, our stay we excellent and we'd recommend this hotel is a heartbeat. Between the staff, the food, and closeness ot the beach, it is a great place to stay!
