The room smelled like someone died in it - we asked to be moved but were told by others & the desk clerk they all smelled that way & to turn AC on & it would get better. It did not by the 3rd day we were coughing constantly. Also the chairs at the pool were all broken so no where to sit.

Hotel was fine. Nothing unique.nJust a standard hotel.Was disappointed because would have liked a first floor by where we parked but got 3 rd floor at the very end of the hall. Luckily there was an elevator.

This hotel was a solid four stars for what it was. Clean, the A/C worked. The bed was SUPER firm though. Pool looked decent although I didn’t swim in it. Stayed here with my small son and husband. I don’t recommend the Thai place unless you want a bar-like atmosphere. General noise such as cars revving their engines, sirens, etc. A lot to see and eat nearby. Would stay again if the price was right.

Not bad for a place to just crash but the ac had no drain so the room always felt damp and the floors stood wet. The room service came 1 time in my 5 days 4 nights there. The rooms are plain no pictures nothing. The ice machine didn't work.but over-all if its just a place to sleep it was clean no bugs and it was quiet

Area felt safe and very well lit, also very quiet and no noisy neighbors. The pillow could have been better, hair dryer didn’t work and saw a couple baby roaches in the bathroom. Also they requested a $50 cash deposit.. most people do not carry cash on them. The Expedia website never said it said to be a cash payment.. typically this deposit is placed as a hold on my credit card at every other hotel I’ve been to. Thankfully the gentleman at the front desk was able to accommodate me and not force me to use the ATM and give cash.

This place is older but it’s well kept and quiet. If you’re looking for somewhere close to the water but don’t want to pay Destin prices, try here. They also have a working elevator which was nice. Air was very cold too.

The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, cold air, friendly staff and well lit property. Parking lot and some of the outside area had cigarette butt litter, but that was the only con I found.This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely stay again.

We liked the location, the pool was good, and the price. The shower water flows really well. There was a fridge and microwave. However, the beds were the worst I have ever slept in. The bathroom door doesn't lock. The ice makers don't all work, and the outside is a bit dirty.

I don't know whose fault it was… But I specifically selected this hotel to use the swimming pool. When I got there, there was a sign-up saying it was closed for the season. I'm not sure if it's Hotels.com fault or the hotel itself.

Air conditioning barely worked & the ceiling in bathroom had what appeared to be mold starting up. There was also no continental breakfast available, that should be a given in this day and age. Staff was super friendly. It was in a good location.

There were spiders and bugs in the room. The rooms smelt as well. Not sure we all even slept. You only had 15 minutes to after check in to be fully refundable. By the time we checked in and notice all of this it was after the time frame.

Location was prime for my trip... Over priced and minimally maintained. The bed was slightly more comfortable than plywood, roaches were in all furniture,toilet clogged and the immediate response was snake the toilet... BUT had no issues with management, no hassle deposit returned, shower was fantastic and I widh every hotel/motel had a shower like room 130

Cleanliness of the room was terrible. I used to stay in this hotel frequently over the past 7 to 8 years, but it has gone down over the years. I usually stay at the front of the hotel, but due to low room availability they placed me in the back in a smoking room (which I don’t smoke). This room had several roaches in the room throughout the night and morning. There was not even an iron and ironing board to use in the morning. Unfortunately, will not be staying at this hotel going forward.

The room was very clean. Others had posted about roaches and i saw no sign of that at all. The bed was hard as a rock. The towels are microfiber. And the sheets were not big enough for the bed. You check in at a kiosk with someone on a screen. No human communication which is probably more efficient but sad. As you can tell by the picture the room needed much updating.

The room interior seems like it was a work in progress. Two different tones of paint, and looks like they just finished a sheetrock tape job an hour before i checked in. The bathtub did not drain well so a shower would almost bring the water to the top of tub height. Quiet when i stayed very quiet property.

Overall it was clean and the staff was friendly. I'm not a fan of microfiber bath towels but they were clean and serve the purpose. My only issue was the mattress was by far the hardest mattress I have ever slept on in my life. And the sheet to cover the mattress was the wrong size sheet so the mattress wasn't even fully covered. But again it served the purpose so I would give it a three and a half out of five star rating overall.

The interactions we had with staff was amazing!! Not my first stay in this hotel. We make frequent trips to the area. This is an economical choice that works when we are staying for a few days. Close to all areas of Fort Walton and easy access to both Destin and Navarre.

My wife and I went for a weekend and they experience was terrible, they did not clean any day of our stay even we ask many times to please clean our room, the answer was they did not have enough employees. We did not recommended this place!

While the location is convenient, we were not impressed with this property. Upon arrival, we had to check in with a kiosk. The person on the kiosk disconnected and the entire process was long, even though we had small children in the car and we’d been driving all day. I would have preferred an actual person checking me in. The room had a funny smell and there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom when we arrived. We would not stay here again.

A poorly maintained and beat looking especially on the inside. The worst hotel in the Fort Walton area. Can’t book in until 3:00pm and English is a challenge in the office. I would never stay there again.

Bed was janky and creaky. Desk in room was covered in huge sticky spill. Floor in room was dirty. The advertised "Free Breakfast" consisted of an almost empty coffee pot sitting in the lobby and nothing else.
