Book a hotel for August in Florida with a pool and the pool is closed! Has been for a month apparently. This is not stated anywhere. I would not chosen this hotel had I known. You also could not adjust the shower temperature. The tap was stuck. So all showers were on the uncomfortably hot side.

Enjoyed our stay, breakfast served by staff, pool area very nice, great location. Desk clerks very nice. No elevator. We were on 2nd floor and are getting up in age. Will have to keep that in mind for future bookings.

Staff was very helpful. The facility is older, but clean and maintained. We were a little disappointed that the pool was out of order, though. Also, the laundry facilities were coin-operated, not free as mentioned in the amenties list. Breakfast was typical hotel fare: scrambled eggs, sausage, a variety of pastries, fruit, oatmeal, and grits.

Reservation was King Business Suite. Don’t let pictures fool you. There is no couch or seating area, one small chair only. The desk is part of the dresser with a wooden chair & my fridge was in the bathroom area. The room was the same as all the rooms but has a king bed vs 2 queens/doubles. There were Roaches INSIDE microwave, the bottom of my feet turned black from walking on the carpet. Wear shoes! First experience with housekeeping included removing a washcloth & hand towel from bathroom sink, “Someone” cozying up while showering IN my room. I had to call the Police because my medicine container was missing from bedside table, but was found across the room, in the corner behind the door. The other Housekeeping staff were very helpful & concerned that my room had not been serviced until I complained someone showered & took my medicine. I NEVER felt unsafe, vehicles were safe, ok to be outside at night & early morning.

The continental breakfast is always good and reliable. I was also pleased to see major upgrades to the room since my previous visit (e.g new bathroom counter tops, new sufficient power ports for both USB and regular power connections). You'll want to bring your own $10 universal remote from Walmart to control the inputs on the TV if you want to connect/operate your Roku, because the basic hotel remotes don't provide the ability to change the HDMI input source.

Sadly the walls were quite thin and I was able to hear a variety of things from my neighbours. I was happy to have air conditioning that worked well but woke me up every time it came on during the night. The TV volume came on at a very loud no matter what I did to not disturb my neighbours. The staff worked very hard to keep things clean and the Ladies in Charge of breakfast were outstanding. Nice plaza across the street and convenient to the events I was attending in the area.

Everything was very nice about the motel, except that it could really use blackout shades. When trying to darken the room to go to sleep at night the lights from the parking lot just lit up the room with the sheer curtains and the finish curtains closed. The motel was very quiet, especially where it was situated and it was unfortunate that so much light filtered into the room at night. The breakfast was very good and other than the light infiltration. We were very satisfied with our time there.

Check in good. TV didn’t work. No phone in room. Called hotel on my cell. On hold 9 min. Maintenance did arrive fairly quickly. Wifi intermittent and weak. My phone tried to pair with Uhaul wifi next door.

Front desk reception staff was NOT welcoming at all and in fact initially quite rude, he did improve after I called out the behavior. The AC in the room was exceptionally loud and totally ineffective. I would never stay here again

The stay was uneventful, clean comfortable enough and a good breakfast for a budget motel…but where they really shined was when we got onto our cruise and realized that we left our Kindle in the room!!! We called them and they went and found it, confirmed our home address a overnighted it back home, safe and sound! What a blessing!!!

The Wi-Fi hardly works. I've been staying for five days and struggling with the connection all the time. When I reached out to the desk, they gave me excuses that too many people were using the Wi-Fi. They need to increase the bandwidth signal if there are many guests staying in the hotel. Not happy with customer service on the desks. They don't treat customers respectfully. When requested to increase WIFI bandwidth, the person on the desk did not like the comments. Surprisingly, he got angry with me and threatened that he would put my (customer) complaint on my record. In addition, he kept saying "This is America....and you cannot raise any concern to me (service desk person)...." In other words, the customer does not have any right to raise issue to the hotel even customer is paying for the services.

I was super pleased with this Hotel! It really exceeded my expectations and I will be sure to return in the near future. It’s very clean, smells clean and fresh. The staff makes sure you’re fully stacked with towels etc. breakfast is delicious and I just have to say I am returning home fully satisfied. Thanks Floridian and Team, you’re all awesome!

Excellent front desk customer service. And security is excellent too-when I accidentally locked myself out of my room at night. The weekend breakfast is wonderful; a full breakfast. Clean rooms - lots of towels. The only thing that I would have liked to be better was the noisy air conditioning unit in the room.

CHECK IN WAS TERRIBLE. HE ACTED LIKE HE WAS DOING ME A FAVOR CHECKING ME IN. DIDNT EVEN KNOW IF THE ROOM HAD A BATHROOM. THIS PLACE CLOSED THE POOL OVER THE 4TH OF JULY WITH NO WARNING. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. MANAGEMENT WHO RUNS THIS PLACE ARE UNFRIENDLY AND DONT APPRECIATE THEIR OWN GUESTS. YOU KNOW THE PEOPLE WHO PAY YOUR BILLS. SKIP THIS PLACE 🌴

The front desk kept my drivers license and even though I was there 2 nights, never mentioned it. For the next two nights of travel I had to sleep in my car, no hotel will let me stay without ID. They didn’t offer to help in any way. Their mistake costs me hundreds of dollars.

It was probably a very nice place 50 years ago. Today it is located in the middle of poor spanish speaking neighborhood, so I can't recommend walking around at nights.

If your looking for budget friendly, then this will do the trick. Staff was friendly. It seems to be a older property, but kept up ok. I think there may have been security in the parking lot at night and for reason. I would recommend for a one nighter passing through on budget.

The room was okay, but the area around it did not appear safe. The breakfast buffet was okay too. We could smell people smoking pot all day/night near our room. The laundry room had sketchy people in it all hours of the day/night...We will not return to this property, since there are better/safer hotels in the area.

Location was great. Big shopping plaza across the street. Hotel lobby was nice and clean. Room/ bathroom were clean. King Bed/pillows were very comfortable. Free continental breakfast was delicious! There is a whole breakfast menu with eggs, tater tots, sausage, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, and much more. Would most definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Was convenient location for going to the Everglades. Staff was nice, room was clean although the carpet could use a steam clean. Found out pool was closed when we got there which was a bummer. If you're looking for a brand new facility, don't stay here. However, this hotel is well maintained, clean, and quiet. While the desk agent was very unfriendly when we checked in, the breakfast woman was extremely friendly and served a terrific meal of eggs, sausage, and tater tots. All delicious and hot. Also available was fresh fruit, toast, bagels, juices, and of course, hot coffee! While we didn't use it, there is also a nice pool and attractive palm laden grounds. I would recommend a stay here, especially at the price point of $80 for a double queen room.
