This is like a mini resort. Games boating, parasailing, fishing, swimming, market, workout room and a very economical on site restaurant. We will be back! The staff were amazing too. The view was beautiful as well

The property is well kept. Rooms are spacious and very clean. There are two pools. The main pool has a bar. The bar attendant is amazing and very friendly. We loved our stay and will be back for sure.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pools were the perfect temp. The Tiki Bar by the main pool had the best bartender, Gonzo, that made the most delicious drinks. Sparky’s restaurant had $.45 cent wings and peel and eat shrimp during Happy Hour. We can’t wait to return!

Very nice clean rooms and facilites. Great atmosphere at pool and great Tiki bar. Waverunner rental was excellent. Staff friendly. Only complaint is had to pay daily parking fee.

We were only staying for 1 night. Just a quick trip to Marathon. Overall we would stay again. When we checked in we were assigned a room on the first floor near elevator and main lobby. We realized this wasn't going to be the best room for us. It was loud due to the location and the room was very warm. I checked with front desk and was able to get a room on the 2nd floor. When we got on the elevator my husband stated that didnt sound good.... We made it to ohr room. It was nice and very cool. Which was a plus considering how hot it has been and we sent the day at the beach. When we decided to go to dinner. We saw the elevator was out service. (Karma for switching from 1st floor to 2nd). For the remaining stay the elevator was out of service. Which we do understand it happens. The room was clean would of been nice to have a view, maybe next time. The bed could of been softer and the pillows nicer. It was for 1 night so we didnt complain. The location was great for the beach and the places we wanted to visit. Down side I believe we should need to pay for parking. It should be included in stay. Overall: We would stay again.

Such a great property! Amazing location, beautiful hotel, great breakfast, the pool area is so pretty and relaxing overlooking the marina! On-site restaurant with great food and ambience!! It’s also great that it has on-site water sports company for snorkeling, jet ski, etc. Will definitely be back again!

Great hotel! Good location with lots of free parking. Staff were helpful and even let us keep the room for late check out without charging. Rooms were large and well appointed and very clean. The free breakfast was a great treat and a good selection in a lovely restaurant. The pool area was really lovely and we chilled out on the hammocks.

This is an outstanding hotel. It is in a great location right on the water and near the Dolphin Research Center, our main purpose for our visit. The pool area is excellent and has a nice Tiki bar. Sparky's landing is an excellent restaurant next door. There is also a laundry (credit card) on the property. The breakfast is also good. We stayed 5 nights.

This was a beautiful hotel with a great view of the marina. There was a bar/restaurant right behind the hotel with live music & delicious food. The hotel had all kinds of gifts, snacks & treat selection. The breakfast was great & the staff always made sure everything was refilled quickly. The room was super spacious & we had a room right next to the pool. The kids loved that. There was also a gathering area with cornhole and a giant connect 4.

Our stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites Marathon was fantastic! We especially appreciated the convenient parking, the sparkling clean room with extra pillows, and the enjoyable pool area. Being so close to Sparky's restaurant was an unexpected bonus that made dining incredibly easy.

No room service, we were there 3 days and asked for services on the 2nd day they brought towels but didn't vacuum the sand on the floors in our room and didn't make our bed.

Staff was outstanding. Your rooms need to be updated. Shades are ripped... no one uses a tub anymore and should be offering "special" coffee/lattes. The back where Suites are - very nice - big difference!

Our stay in Fairfield Inn & Suites in Marathon FL exceeded all of our expectations. We got an amazing bay view from a balcony which had privacy. The suite was quiet, spacious, clean and updated. The beds were comfortable, the WiFi is superfast. Restaurants are in walking distance. I really can not say a single thing we had to compromise with. P.S. If you arrive with car, calculate $17 parking fee per day in your budget. However, be aware if you arrive late on certain days when the restaurant is busy on the property, you might find no space available during dinner hours.

Amenities are amazing for the price!!! Rooms are nice, especially with the suites having a full size refrigerator. The only thing missing were hooks or towel racks to hang things in the bathroom.

Prison style windows which don't open for fresh air. A/C that sounds like a train passing, but which you can't turn off for fear of boiling to death because you can't open the windows. No restaurant despite claiming Sparky's is part of the hotel as it's not so trying to pay on your room when you don't have a wallet with you from the pool area doesn't work. Tiki bar was good, but when the guy has a day off it closes, no other staff! Tough. Providing what was presumed to be free parking (criteria when searching) in a massive carpark was charged at checkout without informing at check-in which is unacceptable. In reality, it's a cheap motel with a flash name associated with it.

It was clean and comfortable. The only complaint is the air conditioning was not working properly. It shut off after 1 minute then didn't start back up for at least 20 minutes. I sweated mostly all night.

Good: room was clean, nice beds and shower. Liked that they had a good place to lay a suitcase open because I don't want to put in drawers for 2-3 nights. Nice large refrigerator. Breakfast was okay. Staff was responsive and helpful. Complaints: My biggest complaint is the room needed more light! I had to use my phones flashlight to look for clothes as the lighting was terrible except for the bathroom. I sure didn't want to pick up my big suitcase and take it across the room to look for something in it! This was more of an issue than I would expect it to be. Also we didn't use the pool but I could see from my balcony it only was 4 ft deep in the deep end..that might be great for small children.

We always enjoy our stay here. This time however, we had to change rooms upon check in due to an uncleaned toilet. But we were happy with room we were moved to. Front desk solved problem quickly. We asked for the 3rd floor but were given a second floor room. We had noisy people above us, which is why we asked for 3rd floor. Breakfast was great! Restaurants in area were awesome too! Nice time all in all.

One of the best Keys stays ! Super clean and modern.. would have been 5 stars but there was a bit noises from other rooms .. thin walls perhaps.. breakfast is okay nothing special parking should be free

The property and the employees ( Jahneil ) were excellent. My problem is I booked through Expedia. And it took such a long time for my information to be sent to the hotel front desk. The young lady that took care of us is an exception and a service to the facility. The parking was very tight and getting around. The parking lot was very busy, other than that we had a great stay.

We stayed in a suite facing the water. The view was wonderful. The room was great! Breakfast had a lot of variety. My only complaint was the hidden $17 parking fee. It’s not the fact that we had to pay it, but we had to pay it and then not have a place to park. We drove around forever and finally just parked on the circle worrying about whether we were going to get towed or not. We came out every 15 minutes to see if a spot opened up. I finally went to the restaurant and sat there and waited for someone to come out and followed them to their car and stood there and saved it for my husband to come and park. Trimmers with Loud gas powered implements were going to be Outside in front of our unit working all afternoon. I did go say something to the manager, and she took care of it.

Upon arrival the room we were booked in was older. The AC unit was very noisy. When I called the front desk they were able to get maintenance up to our rooms quickly and it was decided that they would move us to another room. It was better, still a slight noise but in comparison to the previous room-I was relieved. Key access: A nightmare. We had to call front desk 3 times in one day because everytime they would claim to fix our key, it would not let us enter our room. We got locked out of our rooms twice, and locked out of the pool once. It may seem frivolous but after a long day you just want to be able to get inside without having to wait on someone to come up to open or you have to go downstairs to figure out the problem. The cleaning staff-I can't speak for them all.there were a few polite people. However, You could hear some of the lady's at 8 in the morning talking or laughing between themselves. They were loud for sure. They don't welcome you or even pop a smile when you are in the same hallway. Some just looked mad. It was awkward. On my way to the gym, there's 1 hallway you have to get through to get outside ..... and there was a cleaning staff lady. She had her cleaning cart straight in the middle, making it hard for me to pass through. I thought she would stop and allow me access but no, she just kept walking with her cart straight down the middle very slowly-that I had to RUN around her and excuse myself. Not the best place to stay in.

Very unpleasant experience. We stayed the week and had to keep asking for room service (clean towels) and only received them twice the whole week. We were put in a room with trash laying everywhere outside the window and men working. We were approached in the pool area by the bartender and treated and spoken to very rudely. We payed over a thousand dollars to stay there for the week and were not treated like guests. Very disheartening and waste of money.

The front desk staff was very unfriendly from the get go. The clerk at check-in hardly smiled and did not improve her demeanor when we asked to have our TV checked as it would not connect to the internet. Morning clerk was also unfriendly and dismissive when we asked about having the internet connected the following day. In addition, the staff was dismissive about an item we mistakenly left behind. On a positive note, our housekeeper and at least one of the ladies helping with breakfast were very friendly and hospitable

Great location and hotel and rooms very clean. Location is great where you can travel North and South easily. Sparky’s restaurant and all of the water sports at the rear of the complex are great. Included breakfast is good with a lot of variety and the staff are excellent. Easy check in and just a great overall stay.

The breakfast has a very low standard, all served on paper plates and plastic cutlery. The breakfast room is far to small in relation to number of guests - so super crowded! Room was ok as the service.

Excellent! Excellent room. Bed and pillows were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Staff was friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Pool was clean with plenty of room. We had some awesome drinks from the pool bar. Only issue was the tiki bar was closed on Mondays and we missed out which was very disappointing because it looked like it would have been a lot of fun.
