Great stay , very convenient for trailering boat , and putting in and out of water. Stayed at room with kitchen and boat right outside in canal. They have hose right on dock to rinse boat. Staff very helpful!

Spacious room, well equipped, very good wi-fi coverage, great location. Nice and polite staff. A lot of stuff you can rent for free - kayaks, towels, bikes, etc.

The rooms were nice and clean, the use of kayaks and bicycles are included with the rental, and the employees are supper helpful and friendly.

The canal in winter was full of sea grass not clean. Pool is not heated. They do try with what they have. Laundry did not work while we where there. It is outside and the card would error out. The front rooms all have very large steps to get in. If you use the pull put bed you cant enter the room. The bed was comfy, shower was nice and big bathroom, very clean room, so was the pool although we skimmed it off. Grill and hang out space was nice and walking distance to restaurants. Would stay again.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean room and comfortable bed, nice well kept pool, plus Porky’s down the road was a nice dining option.

Check in was a disaster!! The receptionist was laughing and talking with a large group in front of us. When we were finally able to check in, she continued stopping to talk with that group, didn’t listen to us. Even though I had booked 2 rooms, she put us in different buildings. Our room was spacious and clean. Beds was comfortable. Our friends room was clean with the exception of the floor. It was filthy!! The pool was not heated!! The manager did call the next afternoon and offered to move us, to which we declined the offer. Wasn’t packing up and moving when we were leaving the next morning. The receptionist at check out was so kind and professional.

Loved the location !!!! Loved the paddle boards, Kyaks and bikes!!! The staff was awesome !!!! Saw the most beautiful sunsets out in paddle board..

This place is really nice, quiet, the staff are nice people. The room was very clean.

Pros: location, clean, nice pool, free kayaks and easy access to water (we even saw a manatee from the dock), free coffee and lemonade. Cons: very noisy because the hotel is on the side of the highway, we could also hear a dog barking in the next room, tons of tiny ants everywhere in the room, not the most comfortable bed. We were there 2 nights and the maid did not come to clean the room.

This motel was “just okay”. If you’re not picky and looking for just a place to crash then it’s fine. It wasn’t very clean, there was spots of someone’s makeup on the sink, hairs in the shower, and the floors made our feet literally black on the bottom. It stained our shoes so I’m hoping they’re not ruined. The shower took over 10 minutes to heat up. They mention they provide fishing poles so my husband didn’t bring his. He was quite upset after he bought bait and they told us they only had one pole for all of the guests to share. The staff was nice though and so was the location. This is right next to the airport so just fyi with the noise.

We stayed here 3 nights expecting a basic but clean room as per most reviews. When we checked in we went to the room and looked at it generally and it looked fine (room was clean, bed was made, sheets tucked etc). Unfortunately when we went to sleep that 1st night we noticed when getting in the bed that the sheets had not been changed…dirt and hair from the previous guests were all over…. We went to alert management but because it was passed 11pm nobody was there to help. We had to sleep in someone else’s filth until the next morning when we finally had someone present at the front desk to alert. Unacceptable. What’s even more troubling to me is that the lady at the desk apologized and sent someone later to change the sheets without wanting to offer any sort of compensation…as if it was just a no big deal minor thing…pretty shameful.. I wouldn’t expect a free stay but at least refund me something.. or comp me something…give me a rebate on something…..ANYTHING to show you’re trying to “fix” your mistake..(that’s actually unfixable…but at least show you care by doing something…), but no, nothing…. On a lesser note, I had to go down to front desk to ask for a second face towel because they would only leave 1 in the room each day even tho it’s a room for 2 and mentioned it to the desk each time but the next day, there was always missing a towel.. definitely annoying but not enough for us to have taken this time to write this review. Beautiful room. Clean and comfortable. Close to everything and in the heart of Marathon.

The room smelled strongly of mold. Check on process was long and the girl checking in had zero personality, almost robotic. Floors were very dirty in the room. It could be a really nice room if the mold issue were fixed and they cleaned the floors in it.

Staff was excellent. The room smelled like mold.

Room was clean, had enough space, plenty of lighting. There were small black ants that were crawling around in a few places. They could easily get into any food left on the TV stand, so had to make sure we didn't leave anything edible there.

Price was great and location is awesome. Right on the main highway, giving easy access north and south in the keys! Big spacious rooms.

The rooms are newly updated and very clean. Pool was very nice and area very clean. Would recommend. Only down side, there's no real view to the Gulf, but the grounds are nice. It's on a small canal

Average motel, free onsite parking, good internet, good rooms, but no breakfast. Room, we had was affected by frequent Air Conditioning Compressor blower noise all night, and beeping noise from some sort of electronic gadget, which affected our sleep.

Great space in room very clean. But water does not get hot. So if you like cold showers then it’s for you

I was in the room that faces the highway. If I’d know that I would have not booked that room. Busy highway all I heard was the noise of the traffic sounded like I was on the interstate. Floors need to wet cleaned had to wear my shoes inside especially after shower to the bed. Feet were black after walking from bathroom to bed. Not well lit in entry way. Needs to be like a security light upon entering inside of room when you walk in on inside. Other than that my stay was good.

Clean and comfortable. Very small room but just right for what I needed, which was a place to lay my head at night while being out and about the FL Keys each day.

Very nice and helpful staff. The room was clean but the facility is old and the AC was very noisy making it a bit hard to sleep. Nice to have free use of a kayak. Very convenient to walk to restaurants.

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the internet access was so so, it took all day to get our room cleaned. The grounds were very well kept. The pool area was immaculate. Overall I do recommend staying at the resort and would definitely stay there again.

All was fine. My only concern would be traffic noise. My room was on the front by the hwy. Best to request a room in the rear

The place is OK. Dated, but in a good location. There was a misunderstanding about the check out date. When I told the woman at the front desk I needed to look into it and would get back to her in 10 minutes, she got aggressive and belligerent, demanding we vacate immediately. Just horrible customer relations

Very nice, very clean and comfortable rooms. Had to climb 3 flights but it was worth it. Very wonderful staff! Misle was the best! She was so helpful, could not be more accommodating!

Short three day trip to visit Key West which is approximately 1 hour drive away.

This is a great, less expensive option for a short stay in Marathon. The rooms are nice sized, updated, and include a mini fridge and Krug. There are a lot of free amenities including pool, paddle boards and bikes; however the weather didn’t cooperate for us to enjoy. The staff is friendly and interested in ensuring guests are happy and have what they need. Recommend adding a light on the main road sign since it’s difficult to locate and see at night. The King turtle rooms have plenty of room and could benefit from a more comfy seating option .eg. love seat? Our travel companions in a Turtle Double room only had one light between the beds. Note: the rooms along the main road get alot of traffic noise.

Wonderful, quaint, property with newly renovated rooms but bathroom hadn't been renovated. Excellent breakfast in a bag. The front desk staff was really helpful. Took us an hour and 15 minutes to get to Key west so the location was great. Lots of restaurants close by. They have a nice huge pool butr the depths shown are incorrect. They have free bikes and Kayaks. Awesome!

The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The property was clean and well manicured. No breakfast offering was a bummer but there was a great restaurant right across the road that offered a wonderful breakfast. The manatee’s were in the lagoon which added additional entertainment.

Property is in good condition. The beds are comfortable. They have kayaks, paddle boats and kayaks to use for free. Breakfast was also good. I’m happy with everything.

I think the price was too high. It advertised a continental breakfast, but it wasn’t where you had a choice. They had things in a plastic bag. All bags were the same. I have had hot breakfasts in a nicer hotel for less money.

In their description they said that they had continental breakfast when I booked the room. When we went for breakfast it was a take and go breakfast and that the next day they were eliminating breakfast all together. We then had to find a restaurant to eat breakfast which then cost us more money. We were at resort for four dsys. I think that we should have been reimbursed some money for the inconvenience. We would not have stayed there if they were not going to have breakfast.

No breakfast, but there is a restaurant across the road. We loved the stay. Not the most luxurious in that area, but it served the purpose.

This property is close to the Marathon airport so expect noise from planes and helicopters. The canal view was nice. The "Grab and Go" breakfast was OK, not great. Most people were friendly. Took a good 10 minutes to get hot water for a shower.

This place has a Lotta hidden charges they feed you breakfast in a bag they talking about. It’s free breakfast. It is a bag. The place is not worth the money that they charge for it. They say it’s pet friendly don’t tell you nothing about a pet and then when you get there, they charge you $50 a day. I will never stay there again they feed you like you’re in prison.

Website photos are misleading, cropped. This is primarily an old FL motel. Rooms sit 100 feet from US1 with bed, dresser, table and chairs, sofa...no closet. Traffic noise on one side or rooster on other. Room relatively clean to start with, but each day new towels arrived but bathrooms, floors weren\'t cleaned. Complimentary breakfast consisted of coffee and "to go" plastic bag with juice, muffin, packaged fruit cup, yogurt, only offered 8-10AM. Kayaks old and not padded. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.
