This is my 4th time at this hotel. It is quiet , beautiful and great customer services. 2 things: the elevators are slow and didnt work twice during the week we stayed. Our room wasnt cleaned daily even after removing the sign. Lots of restaurants shopping and convenient location

The rooms were as pictured and clean. The staff were very courteous and friendly. He figures disappointment was at the pool was under construction and I was expecting to be able to use it but this was not advertise at the time of booking.

The cleanliness of the property was great and smelled good! The staff was very pleasant. The food & cocktails were awesome. I was celebrating my birthday and wanted to have a relaxed staycation. I was disappointed to find out that they didn't have a smart tv so I could enjoy some movies. I had to go and buy a Roku stick to satisfy myself. Then when I got dressed for the pool I was advised in the elevator that the pool was closed. Not to mention, it was early in the day. I went to the front desk just to be informed that the pool was closed for renovations. Smh. I was not aware and I was very disappointed once again. Although, I was told that they had access to another pool at another location which was not convenient.

The pictures of the property look differently than online. The rooms are not clean, and the bathtub was not caulked. The beds were clean, but the carpets were not. I also put the note to NOT clean my room, but they came in anyways. The parking lot, was dark and not well lit, I felt afraid walking out there without security. There was no security to be found. The hallways also smelled of Marijuana and it was loud from some of the rooms.

Great location and staff was pleasant. Decorations are beautifully done but place isn’t as clean when you look closely. Had an okay stay until the morning of check out we noticed a bed bug crawling around in the bed 😭

Super hotel, highly recommend. Room was set up beautifully-great decor. Bed was very comfortable, sheets spotless and soft. Pillows were lovely quality. Bathrooms were also great and the Aveda products were a nice touch. Hotel shows no sign or wear and not “tired looking” as so many these days.

Only 1 bed was made adn the other bed was left alone. Bathroom wasnt cleaned. I called front desk to complain and they just brought up new towels. Ive been to hundreds of hotels, this was the first time this ever happened

After arriving at MN last night, the front desk staff was very pleasant and was clearly trying to accommodate her best the new arrivals in view of her key machine not working. We had to be escorted to our rooms. The room was very clean however as soon as I got into bed, exhausted, around 1 AM, I started itching. I was too tired to do anything about it and fell asleep. In the morning, the cleaning crew knocked on my door although I had put the “ck on me later” sign. I didnt noticed anything special in the morning so packed up and cked out. I passed by the lounge to grab breakfast but the only 2 options I saw were a breakfast buffet for $20 or Starbuck with its usual high prices. Apparently reserving through Expedia for a lesser price does not give you the benefit of a breakfast coupon. Unfortunately I have been itching all day and as a physician recognized bed bugs bites ☹️☹️😡😡😡Needless to say I !am far less than happy and would NOT recommend staying at this hotel until you see proof of extermination!!!

The room was renovated and clean. The shower in the room wasn’t working properly so the water pressure was super low as half of the water was coming out of the main spout and not from the shower head . The staff seemed to have known when I mentioned the shower , that the shower pressure was a problem in the hotel. They mentioned it themselves . When I booked on Expedia , the parking was supposed to be included . The lot is an open lot without security and it even had a sign that you are leaving your car at your own risk . When we arrived late at the hotel , the staff said I can call Expedia to dispute the parking because they were going to charge us for parking anyhow . We paid $12 each day for parking in a lot that was self park and open. They didn’t grant what the room included and charged for a spot in an open parking lot . Other than those two things , the hotel was nice and had a nice pool area . We would have given them a five if the shower worked properly and if they didn’t charge us for the parking that should have been free .

Walls are thin. Could hear everything going on in adjacent rooms and in the hallway. Everything else was perfect. Clean. Comfy beds. Great shower heads. Fitness facility was kept up And well equipped enough to get a good workout in. Food at the restaurant was awesome. Service was on point for breakfast. Easy convenient parking. Not a lot to do around the immediate area but good access to highways and thoroughfares made it easy to get around the area in all directions.

Great hotel, beautiful lobby. Rooms were cozy with a modern feel. Super comfortable bed! Lots of space for parking. Only a short drive away from the airport. Not a central downtown location but super close to the highway and can drive anywhere. Would definitely stay again!

We were at the end of our trip and budget and decided to go with a more cost effective hotel. We were blown away by the Renaissance - from the lovely scent as you enter reception, the efficient and speedy check-in, the comfortable bed and powerful shower and the swift check-out we would definitely stay again! Beautiful water views and the perfect location for shopping at Sawgrass Mills

The room was paid in advance. Arrival was at 2pm. They overbooked the hotel rooms and pushed me to a subpar hotel in an unsafe part of town for a single female to be traveling alone. Incredibly inconvenient and absolutely livid this was the service given.

I loved the hotel.. I had called to ask for early checkin. I was advised it would be around 1pm. When I checked I was told no notes for that. I waited in the lobby from1-4. At ,4 people were arriving and meeting rooms? I went up to rep and said can I get a room now? She said handicapp room was not ready . I didn’t know that’s why I waiting so long !!!! I said I don’t care what room and she gave me a room. Guess what? It was a handicap room after all!!!! She knew I was waiting and never let me know I could check in. I had to wait til 4 and get in line behind the line …. I would think the rep would have told me before the crowd entered that I could get a room!!!! Finally got the room . It wasn't til I turned in that I realized that the bed was broken. The right side had collapsed and so I slept at a slant all night. I didn’t complain because I was so tired and at 10 didnt want to have to move. I told the rep who checked me out and she said maybe we can comp you. Never heard anything!!!

I booked this hotel because I called the hotel the day before and confirmed they had early check in availability. The person said yes so I booked. I arrived at the hotel at 1PM and was told there were no rooms available and I would have to wait for an hour. I waited and watched three male clients go to the check in desk and get rooms right away. I’m a Marriott member so I asked again if I could get into any room even a downgrade and was told no. So I started doing my hair and make up in the lobby even proceeding to put curlers in my hair. After another 30 minutes and seeing yet another male guest go and get a room right away I approached the woman at the counter and told her I saw her let other people into rooms and magically a room opened up. This is unacceptable and I was completely mortified. I will never stay at your hotel again and I am writing a letter to the Marriott management. Once I got into the room staff, we’re banging on my door because the housekeepers forgot to include towels and other items which they said they would bring back and never did. The shower was also broken and the water was leaking everywhere so I ended up just leaving the property at 6 AM and going to another hotel.

The Renaissance Ft Lauderdale West is easy to get to from the airport. It is very close to the highway and just off one of the exits. It is situated in a residential/corporate park area. The staff was extremely nice and accomodating. My family enjoyed a nice walk (~0.50 mile) around the lake behind the pool. The gym was convenient and had everything I needed. The pool is very nice and would like to use in the warmer months. Still nice to sit around and enjoy the Florida weather. My son also got a kick out of some of the wildlife in the rear of the hotel (lizards, fish, birds, etc.). We've had a few good stays here. We also noticed it seems to be a good hotel for people taking cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale. There was a Princess cruise bus and and one other cruise company picking up passengers as we were checking out.

I wish we knew that the pool was under renovations before we arrived. That would have been a nice to know prior; especially traveling from VT. Otherwise, the staff was incredibly sweet and the location ideal for Nova Southeastern Orientation.

The hotel is great. Quiet, right around the corner from essentials (Publix, gas station (7 eleven) and plenty of restaurants. My only gripe is the parking lot. It’s quite dark with little to no light post, kinda dangerous for those who can’t defend themselves in case there was a threat. Other than that I plan on staying again, I enjoyed my stay/experience

Stay was comfortable and clean. Staff was polite and responsive. Expect a fee if you are parking a vehicle, but the fee was not outrageous. Hotel is conveniently located within 1-2 miles from shops, restaurants, and Nova Southeastern University. Would definitely stay here again.

I would like to commend Kennedy, behind the bar, at Bin 595 Restaurant and Grill. He was wonderful. Food was absolutely great. Hotel was clean, pool was awesome.

Charging $4.00 for coffee is ridiculous. Should be complimentary. Other than that I love the hotel. Great location and price is fair for what you get. Been there 3 times. Maybe a free breakfast would be nice since I’m a repeat customer and will go back again.

There’s only one restaurant on site with limited menu options. Rooms look out dated. Hot water spigot didn’t work on the water dispenser in the fitness room. The front desk staff are very friendly upon check in and check out.

The Renaissance Hotel provided great accommodations for my four day trip to Florida. Loved the decor of the hotel lobby and room theme. Felt safe and secure. Everything,including the bathroom was super clean and fresh smelling, from the lobby to my room. The last evening of my stay, my friends and family enjoyed dinner at the Bin 595 Restaurant. The appetizer and entree choices were plentiful. My caesar salad and salmon tacos were good and enjoyed, but the food was overpriced. $50.50 included gratuity for a normal sized salad and 3 salmon tacos. As a NewYorker...this was definitely an overpriced meal. Hotels need to attract more diners so they dont have to overcharge hotel patrons on food. Otherwise great stay and time had at the Renaissance.
