I liked the area the hotel was located. I was not happy with the fact that your website advertises a free shuttle to the airport, but there was no shuttle available, so I had to pay for an Uber. That was the whole reason I booked the hotel in the first place. There was also only ONE towel in the room and when I called the front desk, no one answered and it was before 10pm.

The area surrounding the property was nice, clean and convenient. as for the hotel the elevator did not work and that put a damper on by stay which was not a good experience.

I gave two stars because the staff was amazing, they were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Whenever I asked for anything it was provided right away. Now the hotel itself was horrible, we found two roaches in our room, the work out area smelled so bad that we couldn’t even enter the room. The pool was dirty and the area around the pool was dirty, and there were no pool towels. I was truly disappointed with this hotel.

The only Elevator in the prosperity was broken for my entire stay ( 5 days). We had to use the stair 4 flights up the whole time, bring heavy suitcases, bags and everything. Even had to help a handicapped bring his chair 4 floors down. They said they didn’t have rooms available for him in the first floor. It was horrible

This property was central located and convenient for food and shopping. The staff was very friendly and nice. We also enjoyed the breakfast. However my room was not properly cleaned and sanitized. Dirty towels was hanging in the bathroom shower, the vent in the bathroom was full of dust. There was also dust on the dresser and night lights. They said the maid would come every 3 days but no maid came at all And we stated there for 6 nights. The sheets smell like they haven't been changed because i could of smell men cologne on the pillows.

The room was clean when we arrived but over the 8 days the room was never cleaned, the lining and the towels were never changed. Concerning the breakfast, the choices were the same every day and for 2 ro 3 days there was no orange juice available.

From the beginning walking up to the door, the pavers were filthy. The door frame looked like it was hand painted with a dust mop. The floors were sticky. The room was dirty-the floors were not clean. The bathroom counter was nasty. The base boards were filthy.

So very dirty. Floors on halls and elevator were sticky. They had regular large garbage cans next to elevator on hallways. I saw roaches in dining room. I asked for my room to be cleaned after a few days I was told I was not on the schedule that I should of arrange for room cleaning way ahead of time.

Staff was very nice and helpful, but the facilities definitely need attention. I had to change rooms three times because the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The furniture and bathtubs show noticeable wear and tear.

Enjoyed my stay for 1 night. Very convenient location and friendly staff. Pros: Great breakfast and the person managing this did a good job of keeping everything stocked. Courteous and knowledgeable front-desk agent. Excellent location just minutes away from the mall and close to I-595. Cons: The pillows were awful. They felt like they were stuffed with straw. There was a sign that said the doors would be locked at 11 pm and you would need to use your key card to enter, but they were already locked when I got back around 8:30 pm. The sofa in the room looked like it could use some cleaning. While having breakfast on Sunday morning, some of the cleaning staff nearby could be heard complaining about something for a while.

Our room was not that great compared to the photos, the A/C was very noisy, you could feel the springs in the bed, the toilet from the room next door seemed to run a lot and we could hear it in our room. The reception people were very kind and helpful if you needed anything, the main breakfast lady was great, if you needed anything, should oblige.

Unfortunately the check in experience when I arrived at the hotel was extremely long and slightly unprofessional. The woman who greeted me was helping a guest in another room while I waited at the counter for about 20 minutes. A line formed beyond me and when she finally got back to the counter she helped a number of other people before myself, who had been waiting there initially. I had mentioned this to her in which she then helped me, unknowingly that the people who were waiting behind me had come previously but because she had been so occupied with other endeavours they had all left and come back. There was no apology or compensation for having us all waiting in which upon my check in completion a lot of frustration ensued with other guests. I understand being busy but acknowledging the fact you had everyone waiting for so long and not professionally resolving the situation was something I was not very happy with. I think multiple people need to be working at the front desk if this is the case and maybe a quick review of proper customer service etiquette would be beneficial!

This hotel is super clean, the breakfast is great, and the staff is wonderful especially Karla. She is truly an amazing person who goes above and beyond to make sure all the guests have a great experience during their stay. The property itself is beautiful and it comes with a gym and swimming pool which shocked me because the price is the most affordable in the area. It also comes with a huge lobby with plenty seating so you can relax, have a meeting, or enjoy freshly prepared coffee. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale and looking for a great experience without breaking your pockets staying at the la Quinta in plantation is the right choice to make.

The key to get into the room was always a battle. The door reader wouldn’t accept it. Got it reprogrammed and still had issues. I received a text from the hotel stating that they could assist at any time, I sent a text asking for assistance, about the door and never got a response.

The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would say interacting with them was the best part of the stay. However, the property is in desperate need of a renovation. During our stay the bathroom light went out and no one ever came to fix it which left us bathing in the dark despite us constantly asking. The faucet leaked profusely and the rug in the room held a mold like odor. As for the breakfast there wasn’t much options and the patties were undercooked. Lastly, the housekeeping staff only cleans every three days which can cause large amounts of trash to especially when traveling in large numbers. The housekeeping staff were also disrespectful towards guest. In the past this hotel was a great option for families but it is no longer at the standard it once was.

This property is literally walking distance from Broward Mall where there is shopping and transport availability. There is also a national chain car rental company in the Mall if you need more transportation options. It is a relatively quick drive from the Fort Lauderdale International airport via the 595 highway which is just a few minutes away. The staff was courteous and the breakfast options are very good. More than I expected. I have been staying here over the years and have never been disappointed.

The breakfast could be better. The eggs in particular. Everything else was just ok. But the eggs were horrible. Get liquid eggs. Not add water eggs. Charge $5 more per night. It’s worth it. Trust me.

Need to have automatic doors. Can not pull luggage through those heavy doors, need two people to get in and out with luggage. Someone needs to hold door while the other person brings in or out the luggage. There isn’t enough counter space for making breakfast and there was roachs’ crawling around the food area.
