TownePlace Suites by Marriott Atlanta Alpharetta

The hotel itself was fine, but the dishwasher was inoperable for our visit which made it less convenient to cook and eat in the room during our stay. The issue was discovered the first evening and reported, then reported again the following morning. A maintenance person showed up that second day, attempted to resolve then left stating they would return, this never occurred. As we were leaving the machine began to leak a large amount of smelly, dirty dish water flooding the kitchen area. Upon closer inspection there were exposed electrical wires poking out from the bottom of the machine and it was missing the cover panel which would have prevented the wires from being a shock danger. An additional unrelated issue was the pool being out of service, it's allegedly going to be online next week. Parking was good and it's in a nice area, the breakfast area was small but decent.

The property was very calm and quiet. But some of facilities are bit old and need to repair.

The property was fine. It was pouring with rain and I wish there had been a shelter to pull under.

Exceptional management and care for guests. From front desk to housekeeping staff, all are considerate and accommodating. Immaculately clean room, well stocked kitchen, courtyard area even offers a gas grill for guests to use. Nice breakfast buffet; and three Starbucks less than a mile from the hotel! Highly recommend.

Everything was okay. Just that the property is very old and isn't maintained well.

Didn't like the 2 extra charges on my account without an explanation. I did like they are a pet friendly hotel. The open, walk-in shower was nice.

We were in town for a concert at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre and had a great one night stay at TownePlace. Chose the property for it’s location and the just under 30 minute walk from the venue to the hotel was relaxing following a great show. Room was very clean and well-laid out, kitchen was small but very functional, best use of a small space I have ever seen in a hotel room. Bed was adequate (though I am getting older and don’t respond as well to is anything that is not my own bed). Shower head was high and curved shower curtain so those of us larger folks can be comfortable. Breakfast was very good, eggs (scrambled and boiled), meat (sausage and bacon), fruit, waffles, high protein Greek yogurt, fruit, grains (bread, English muffin, muffins and bagels), different juices and milks and good coffee. I especially appreciate the hazelnut creamer. Staff were very nice, gave local directions and a 10% off coupon at Village Tavern. Pool looked decent. Grounds were well-kept. My 4/5 rating for cleanliness is not 5/5 due to the fact that the hallways and elevator could have been cleaner. If I return to Alpharetta, this will be the only place I will stay.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, good water pressure in shower. Could use some updating. Bathroom floor seemed a bit sticky if walking on it with bare feet. Really friendly and helpful front desk staff. Free breakfast was nice. Not sure if the hotel is pet friendly (assuming so) but there was a dog in the room next door one night that barked occassionally. Fortunately, it did not bark continuosly. Easy to get to and near some restaurants, gas station.

Rooms and hallways were smelly. Rooms had intense smell of marijuana. I had family with me and we checked in late night. We had to open windows to be able to breathe. Next day i asked them to give me another room but they said they didn’t have another room even though when i checked online rooms were showing available. Breakfast was very ordinary. I will never stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and well maintained. We stayed for only one night but the suite was very accommodating for long term stays, as well. Nice kitchenette area that even had a small stove and oven and everything you would need if you wanted to cook meals. The bed was really comfortable too. Absolutely loved that check out was at 12pm as well! Our AC was broken and wouldnt turn off but we didnt bother the staff with it since we were only staying one night. They had extra blankets so it wasnt too bad. other than that, everything was perfect! Highly recommend!

No, the room was not in good codition. The first room the toilet wasn't working. We had to get a new room. The 2nd room the toilet was working but the floors were dirty. It needs some updating. The bathroom on the first floor had a horrible bad odor as ypu walk by to getbto the elevator. Its pretty old snd outdated. The staff was really attentive and courteous. The location amazing.

This property was clean and I loved that it was quiet after 10:00 pm. The other guests were respectful.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. This is our second time, we stayed for a little over a week. Came back to the same cleanliness and great service. I definitely recommend this hotel suite for a family vacation and or a business trip.

Booked and stayed at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Atlanta Alpharetta from Apr 14-21 2025. I was allotted room number 301. Me with my family had horrible experience with stay. There are cockroaches everywhere, in bathroom, kitchen, kitchen utensils provided by hotel etc. My daughter and other family members so panic with these roaches everywhere. We could not eat food and sleep & stay peacefully. The stove top is broken, one out of 2 does not work. The exhaust over stove does not work at all and no switches are available. The water is leaking from refrigerator, and coming out into kitchen floor. This is so inconvenient and hazard of we slipping on wet floor. We have to put tissues, clothes on the floor, so degusting. We traveled so far and stayed here on a time tight schedule for a very important purpose. These issues kept us very uncomfortable of our stay. Contacted front desk, they gave Managers email. I have attached all the photos & videos of these issues and sent detailed email. But there is no response as of today, it was 2 days. We booked this hotel by looking at good reviews online and spent extra money to have pleasant stay. But we really did not see worth of money what we spent for this stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and provided a comfortable stay. The only negative was that the TV was older and the screen had some burned in image issues but that didn't deter from a great stay.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel is quiet, and is friendly. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had the amenities for a comfortable stay. They also have a pretty good breakfast every morning. I was able to cook meals with ease in the double burner stove and the room comes with necessary kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Wpuld stay again!

I especially appreciate the hazelnut creamer. Staff were very nice, gave local directions and a 10% off coupon at Village Tavern. Pool looked decent. Grounds were well-kept. My 4/5 rating for cleanliness is not 5/5 due to the fact that the hallways and elevator could have been cleaner. If I return to Alpharetta, this will be the only place I will stay.

Best extended stay hotel in area. Staff helpful. Lady that does breakfast during week is always serving earlier than scheduled. Always accommodating. Dining area spotless.

Beware of Mr. Charles in front office he’s dishonest and a lair. Ladies have a male with you he prey on women and DO NOT put a card on file. They take whatever they want!

Stayed with family for an eventful ATL weekend; location was close enough to MARTA to commute into the city without other stuff going on. Great property and staff as well.
