Stayed for two nights , whilst travelling. The room was fine , no view, the window glass. was permanently steamed up . The room was modern and clean. The shower drain was blocked and had to be reported Staff very nice and helpful. Could not use the pool as it was rented for a private function

Nice hotel, central to most of the City. The coffee/tea in the morning was nice. The courtyard was nice, but not well kept and a little messy. The bikes were really a nice touch at no additional cost. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Older hotel but spacious rooms with good air conditioning. The hotel is valet only and surprisingly $49 per night! We wish we would have known that before booking. Overall the location is good. The bar/restaurant closed early one night unexpectedly and another night it had no music so the ambiance was lacking. The staff was pretty friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms have limited space. Fitness center was cardio only.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was incredible! The staff was super friendly (shoutout to MarKeisha!!). The pool was clean and perfect after a day of walking around town. The gym had really new equipment that my daughter really enjoyed. The room was peaceful with a modern look. Beds were very comfortable. Will definitely be back!!

I booked this hotel for the historic area and for the pool. It’s amazing how few hotels have pools as they are mostly in older buildings in the area. The hotel is wonderfully designed and decorated, with an amazing smell as you walk into the lobby. It was a bit of a hike across to my room, but it was very quiet, even though on the Main Street along the waterfront. One minor quibble was that the coffee downstairs was Luke warm at best, the front desk clerk went above and beyond one morning at heated mine up for me. For my second cup I went around the corner for a hot coffee! The pool, unfortunately was not staffed at all with any food or drink except on the weekend. I was really looking forward to lunch and a beer by the pool, but I was there mid week. The restaurant is not open either for breakfast or lunch during the week.

Wait until their renovation is completed! Just about everything that could’ve gone wrong during our visit did. Poor check in. No restaurants/amenities open. No housekeeping. And worst of all the staff really didn’t seem to care. This hotel should not be charging full price (it was NOT cheap) while this reno is happening.

Conveniently located to Riverwalk. Dog friendly!!! Clean. Staff is awesome. Happy hour in the courtyard is a plus. Had a great stay there and would go back with ZsaZsa our goldendoodle.

Hotel was clean, rooms were a good size and pool area was nice. Service was lacking, everyone was nice once you got them. Twice there was no one at the bar during the day to get a drink, our room just didn’t get cleaned one day, had to go find more towels, check-in took 30 mins as they couldn’t find our Expedia reservation, our room keys stopped working twice. The Pool area was nice but note the pool isn’t heated so very few people actually get in. The location is close to River street but on the outskirts of the tourist attraction ton but walkable.

This is an extremely pet friendly hotel… They even allow pets in the restaurant area….. The furniture was dirty and there was pet hair all over the place. The pictures are deceiving. Also there is a $50 a night mandatory valet service. They are great at their job but it’s expensive. There isn’t any free parking. If you have allergies DON’T stay here!

Arrived a little after 4, room wasn't ready, but happy to wait since they were cleaning. Except when we got back couple of hours later and our feet were sticking to the floor and completely black from dirt. Since we only had 2 towels, yet it was the 3 of us, I went to ask for an extra towel and let them know. I picked up a pool towel to clean the floor a little myself. And the next day when we stopped by the restuarant around 2:15, they said they were closed for lunch and wouldn't be open for couple more hours for dinner, on a friday. So later that night when we returned, and tried to order food from the same restaurant in the hotel, everyone seemed confused about the room service they said we could order when we checked in. I finally found a kind hostess who said she could take our order and I could wait on it, and I told her I was confused, i thought they offered room service. So she offered to bring it to our room since i told her I was trying to give our 6 year old a bath and it was late....and when she brought the food, with a $52 ribeye, we were only given plastic silverware...to cut a steak.On top of all of this, the room was never cleaned while we were there for our 3 night stay, and they were kind enough to reimburse us for one nights stay, but it was still expensive. Add all of that to loud E. Bay street, the fact that whoever above took a shower every night around 9:30 and it sounded like a waterfall in our bedroom with the loud pipes.We loved the location.

Loved the hotel and the staff were all wonderful! BUT….being a pet friendly hotel, I think a little bit more detail should be given to the upkeep that goes along with animals. There was animal hair in our room where the desk met the dresser. The chair railings, baseboards and other wood details through out the hotel need cleaning. The black rug as you enter is full of animal hair and so is the carts for your belongings. They need a good vacuuming. I have nothing against animals, I have my own and that requires a little extra work that I think the hotel needs to do.

I liked the location and the restaurant (nice breakfast options). Generally, the hotel looks MUCH better online than in reality. I was a little surprised by that - the pictures and description online makes it feel like an upscale place but it's pretty average. The room was not the cleanest upon arrival. I didn't like that it doesn't have carpeting. I understand that being a pet friendly hotel, that may be an issue but it made me feel like I was staying at a hospital room (nice one, but not very homey or comfortable). The pool area was not very nice with towels scattered around. Despite what the website says, it was not possible to order drinks or food from the pool area. The pool is very small. Almost every item available for room service was marked as "sold out" every night. Basically, from up close this hotel is just a little bit dirty (lots of smudges, marks on doors, baseboards, drink stains on the table etc). It seems to me that quality control isn't very good there. On the plus side, the room was quiet, the shower was nice (newer and no shower curtain) and the bed was comfortable (although the blanket was thin and there was no fitted sheet). I'd take a regular Hilton or Hampton Inn, or some place like that over this Kimpton Brice. Nothing horrible but for the price I'd go somewehere else.

The Kimpton Brice was in a great location at the end of Bay Street, close enough to walk to the madness, but far enough away for peace. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. My 2 Queen room was enormous. I didn't use the pool but it was full every day. I would avoid the rooms that sound the courtyard though. They seem like they would get a lot of foot traffic. There was also a free wine and hors d'oeuvre reception in the lobby every day at 5 pm

Very noisy experience. Our room had an exterior door to the courtyard where we heard every word of an award ceremony Sunday AM. Had people partying outside our door Saturday night. Our bedroom wall faced Bay street and the dump trucks will wake you up about 6am. We could also hear our neighbors loud and clear every morning. I’m starting to think when you book with Expedia you get the bad rooms??

This property is severely over priced. The ac unit does not work properly and you will spend the night tossing and turning due to temperatures fluctuating from one extreme to the next. I have asthma and the humidity in the room caused me to use my inhaler several times. This information was shared with the front desk and the response AS IM CHECKING OUT was “we’ll see what maintenance can do.” How does that help me? I paid over $300 to not sleep/ be uncomfortable. Really disappointed with this experience.

I want to love this property! It’s cute, the people are so nice, the pool is great, it’s close to everything but not on the main drag, restaurant has good food. I suspect they had water damage from the recent storms. The lobby just has an overwhelming mildew/mold smell. My room was on the first floor where all the guests with dogs must stay - lots of barking. It was also next to housekeeping so it was quite noisy in the mornings. The room was also just incredibly damp - I know it’s Savannah in the summer but I have been to Savannah 6 times this year and have not experienced this elsewhere.

The building is nice. However, there was hair in our shower from the previous guest. The front desk seemed to stop answering calls at a certain time. The wait for the restaurant was for to go orders was long. I was looking forward ri receiving my robe that was advertised, but never received it. The bathroom itself is super small and cramped. The room itself was ok. More than likely won’t stay there again.

Everything was lovely except for the door adjoining the adjacent suite. There is zero sound proofing at the threshold of the two doors. You can clearly hear any conversations happening in the neighboring room. I had to jam a towel between the door and floor to get back to sleep and to give the guest next door back their privacy.

Hotel was lovely and room was clean. However front desk was not knowledgeable regarding procedures. Friend and I were sharing room. I called twice to make sure friend could check in without me because only my name appeared on reservation (they would not add hers). Second person promised she could check in. (Friend showed confirmation email from hotel). Needless to say she could not check in. Found out my entire stay was charged before arrival. (should have been paying at hotel not before). Friend and I were splitting cost of room). She was charged 1/2 and I was charged full amount. Still Waiting for credit. BTW I am an IHG preferred guest which was on reservation.

What I liked most was the beautiful courtyard and the wine social hour. What I really didn’t enjoy was that I was given a room over the trash cans. When I went to ask to change the room, Jason at the reception was very upset and made me wait around for about 30 minutes to give me a different room while talking to others and answering their questions in the midst of supposedly helping me. He then gave me a room right in front of a big wall! Needless to say , I went back the next day to change again and this time the sweet ladies at the reception gave me a decent room in less than 3 min. All this while half the hotel was empty! The service matters! Concierge would not give any info on the city and only wants to sell you the hop on / off bus. Beds were comfortable and clean. Dressers were old and electric outlets were half working. Location is on the one end of downtown attractions but the whole area is not that big anyway! Good coffee every morning.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It had a boutique feel and it was very convenient to the historic riverside district. Very easy to walk to and from. There is valet parking but we opted for street parking. We especially enjoyed the complimentary wine hour. It was nice chatting with other guests and seeing their pups. This is a dog friendly hotel. Beds were very comfortable and our room was quiet. We had a window but the view was not great, we looked out at another building. You are able to upgrade for a better view. The neighborhood surrounding is very nice and felt more residential. There is a historic square on the same block.

Great location & hotel. Loved the outdoor seating area with comfy seating and a fire pit. Only complaint was that there really wasn’t a work area in the room. The lobby had tables and lots of sitting areas set up so he used that.

We rented three rooms for a wedding weekend nearby and we loved the hotel. I included breakfast and the food was delicious too. Servers were very friendly and attentive. Wish the restaurant was open for lunch, though, but there were plenty of places to eat nearby. It was in a great location, and we got plenty of steps in checking out the town. Pool area was lovely, but I wish they had had some snacks available and they ran out of towels.

Great location, chic boutique hotel with a very cool, classy pool area. Great Italian restaurant on site. We really enjoyed the cute courtyard too. Beds were also comfy. Valet is $50! We opted to pay at parking meters. $1 per hour from 8am-8pm.

I would’ve NEVER booked this hotel if I would’ve known that this property was under construction. There was no lobby/ lounge area inside and the restaurant was switched to a n event room. There was no room service offered nor whenever I called for items that they had supposedly to send up like (ex)phone charger they didn’t have it. There were about 10 of us traveling for a completion and All were extremely disappointed!! After reading some of the complaints all I see are apologies and hopes that we will return, no some type of compensation needs to be given.
