The hotel itself is beautiful and the location was perfect - the room itself had ripped wallpaper, was very dusty - I just expected better based on the rest of the hotel and the cost.

The location is perfect on River street great bars restaurants and shops nearby. Walk along the river or accross the street into town seemed like a very safe area.

This was such a cool, historical place right on riverfront. I only wish we were able to stay longer, but we will definitely be back. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking was expensive, but there is a public garage right across the street for a fraction of the cost. We were within walking distance with lots of great shops and restaurants. And centrally located to other landmarks.
