Fantastic area in downtown historic downtown Savannah. When checking out the gym, I noticed the laundry facilities were free for guests… nice touch! Free wine , beer and appetizers at 5:30 pm was also a nice touch.

This property was amazing. Right on Bay Street, which is adjacent to River Street, this hotel is an easy walk to everything in historic downtown. Staff was great, hotel bar was convenient and the room was amazing. Gym was small, but sufficient. Pics of the room and property were on point! We will 100% be staying here again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Riverfront, restaurants and shopping all in walking distance. Location was great. Ice machine in refrigerator didn’t work, but bags of ice were easily available in lobby. Parking was $25/day and convenient. Would stay again.

The hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious. We had a kitchenette with double beds. The staff were very friendly and made our stay even more special. I have never been to a hotel that had a complementary social hour. The appetizers were very good, I could have made a meal off of them for sure.

Good news/Bad news Good news: the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, with lots of options. The location was perfect, close to River street and a few blocks walk to shops and restaurants. Bad news: we reserved a one bedroom suite, the bedroom was spacious and updated but front room with pull out bed and kitchen was old and dirty( see photos) there was an odor to the upholstery that smelled very bad. The furniture was old and stained, marked up and kitchen was on need of a refresh. The hallway carpeting on our floor 2R was in need of a good shampoo( stains). The staff was great and the location excellent, with some updates and some deep cleaning this place could be stellar.

The location of the property is by far the best feature of this hotel. The front desk staff were always pleasant, and lobby was updated and clean. However, our room was less than ideal with the lingering smell of wet dog and damp carpet we assume was from a carpet cleaning. We were just staying the night, so we did not feel the need to request a new room and we had our dog so we figured it would be ok. The kitchen area in the room was just above passable, but luckily we did not need to use it. All in all, this hotel fit our need for one night, and although we weren't thrilled, it was ok for the price.

The hotel is in a great location for a visit to Savannah. It definitely had some issues with cleanliness but overall our stay was great. The staff at the property was wonderful. Theresa was outstanding and helped make our short stay a great one. Nevada was also great during the check in process. The hotel has great bones but some deep cleaning could make it better ( stained carpets, chairs). Breakfast was ok. We would stay there again.

The room had strong smell of bleach when we first checked in. Bathtub looked dirty. Housekeeping skipped our room 1 day and the mattress had a sunk in place on one side. The carpet looked like it needed a good cleaning.

This property is in dire need of a deep cleaning. The hallway carpets were filthy, and the room itself was even worse. The bathroom was run down, with a shower head completely covered in limescale. Staff service was mediocre at best. While one young woman at the front desk was kind and helpful, she had to step in to fix an extra charge that had been maliciously added to my bill by another staff member, Tina, which is completely unacceptable. Breakfast was by far the biggest disappointment. It was, without exaggeration, the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel: low-quality food and terrible preparation. The only redeeming factor is the location, directly across from the riverfront and within easy walking distance to everything in the area. Unfortunately, the convenience of the location doesn’t make up for the unacceptable conditions.

The first room had a bath tub that was very slick and my wife felt uncomfortable using it since she has mobility issues. They moved us and the service was great however the second room had a malfunctioning refrigerator.

The hotel has rooms that are in the center in the building as in the windows of these rooms look into the hallway and or across at other rooms over an atrium if you are higher up. You definitely do not want to stay on the ground floor. Way too noisy and our room smelled damp. The front desk staff is friendly and moved us when we asked them to a higher floor. I felt the hotel was overpriced for what it was but I guess you are paying for location. There are many places to stay in that area. You might want to consider somewhere nicer for the same amount of money.

This was in a great location, close to the River Walk and a hop on/hop off bus. Breakfast was great. Room size was decent. We don’t love that when we opened our blinds we overlooked an atrium and looked straight into other room doors. Just kind of weird that we could have the blinds open at all as people coming out of the rooms across the narrow atrium could see into our room. Great for a quick visit to the River Walk area of Savannah. We would stay there again. We had paid for a city view room but unfortunately there was an issue with previous guests in some of the rooms and so we got an interior room with the atrium view.

Oversized rooms in the best possible location. Steps away from River Street. Dozens of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again. Clean comfortable room and cozy bed.

Suite was equipped with large fridge, microwave, full size coffee maker. Very clean, staff was very friendly, Social hour was a nice way to meet other guests. Breakfast was good. Location was perfect to walk to everything. Can’t say a bad word about Staybridge.

Our room was “city view” which was nice except that put us on a busy street that was noisy all night long. Ask for a non-street road or bring a noise machine or app.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was helpful and kind. They were quick to offer suggestions about dining and asked many times if we needed anything. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby area was updated and fresh. The rooms could certainly use a refresh, but they were clean and there was plenty of space. I would reccommend Staybridge Suites and will stay there again.

Everything about this hotel was great! The employees were more than nice. They greeted you every time they saw you and made eye contact. Something that you dont always get. The location was amazing! And even had breakfast and a bar. We eill be back.

NEVER MET A RUDE HOTEL MANAGER BEFORE NOW! Terrible! I have been an IHG member for years and favored Staybridge UNTIL NOW! $50 for an extra 30 minutes.... ridiculous! And it was their employees fault I thought check out was an hour later. Why did I revieve no call, email nothing reminding me I was so late then. The manager could care less when I explained her employees told me the wrong time and was one of the most horrible human beings Ive ever met.... and that's bad.

Just 1 street off the river and blocks from great shops, this hotel is perfectly placed. The decor was modern and clean, the staff was super friendly and the breakfast was good. There was a social hour with drinks and snacks Monday through Wednesday. Walking to local sights was easy and there were plenty to see. I will surely try to stay here for my next visit.

Excellent location for walking everywhere. Amazing personable staff - they go out of their way to be great ambassadors for the hotel and the City. Hotel has a nice bar and seating area in the lobby. Good breakfast buffet choices, well organized and stocked, with a wide variety. This was our second stay at this hotel and we highly recommend it.

The staff was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. Our room was on the corner of Bay and Lincoln so it was very noisy. The carpet coming off of the elevator on 2nd floor is disgusting. The room was ok but could use some TLC or updating.

Loved the location of the hotel. Just steps from the river and lots of restaurants and bars. Internet was very strong and easy to access. Super comfy bed and blackout curtains are great. Staff was absolutely amazing and so friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying there again in the future.
