Quick overnight stay while traveling through. Nice hotel overall, but due to current renovations, some entrance/exit doors were not accessible, which meant we had to park by the main lobby entrance and carry luggage down a long hallway--after climbing stairs (no elevator). The room was clean and comfortable, though, and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet and quaint.

Clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly! Room was nice and they had guest laundry and a good breakfast. Only slight knock was the bathroom was a little small but it still had a full size shower/tub combo and the sink and vanity was outside the bathroom. I’d definitely stay here again!

Gave us keys/room that they had put someone else in. After trying 4 times to get keys that worked, realized someone else was in room. They had to figure out how that happened and to figure out which room was available. Took about 10 minutes of waiting- with two of us waiting in the hall with no chair. Unfortunate this all took place at midnight. No elevator. My handicapped dad was with us, so we had to just stay put. New room was ok, but the dispensers in shower were empty, so no shampoo. Not enough towels for the three of us, but wasn’t worth calling to get more at that point. Not sure how they got an 8.8 rating. Breakfast was ok, but really picked over by the time we got there at 9:00am. I get they were probably busy, but supposed to be until 9:30. Cranberry juice was not right. Out of other food, but they were replacing some. Not the pastries/breads.

Breakfast was average, but plentiful. Staff was so friendly and fun to chat with. Vending machines had all expired foods. For folks that are unable to climb stairs, be aware theres no elevator. Overall experience was great. Would stay there again!

Good variety of food breakfast including waffles scrambled eggs toast danish and yogurt. We were looking forward to a nice hot soak in the tub but the drain had been made inoperative so it was showers only. Also there was only one hand towel for two of us. We had a second floor room but there was no elevator (minor issue). Overall though, I would rate it good.

I liked that they had a camera system set up that you can see from the front desk area. I was traveling with all of my belongings in my car, so that gave me peace of mind overnight. The front desk staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had, the room was perfect for our one night stay and provided everything we needed.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The area was okay. I was a little sketched out when I first pulled in. The room was extremely humid if we didn’t have the ac running constantly. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Our feet were black from walking on the floors so we can’t say how clean it really was. The beds were very springy. Not the most comfortable. Breakfast was decent. The laundry was coin operated but they didn’t have a change machine to switch bills for coins. The washer worked well though.

I would have given a 5 star review, except that one of the towels that were folded for our use was dirty. It had large stains of either dirt or feces. When I took the towel to the reception desk, the person on duty did not say a word, nor did she provide a clean towel. Very disappointing, as the night receptionist was super nice & helpful.

Jess is fantastic! When I arrived, she was able to get me in a little early, which was appreciated. 1000 stars for Jess! The room was nicely remodeled! The wifi was great, the linens were clean and the water was hot! I also like the eco-friendly soap and lotion dispensers, eliminating all the little disposable bottles. My only critique which is typical of hotels with non-carpeted rooms. They should impose a room mopping program between each guest arrival. When I showered the next day, the bottoms of my feet were brown from the dirt on the floors. A lot of people wear shoes and boots in the rooms, but I don't. I strongly recommend this hotel due to Jess and the value I received. Plus, it's very convenient to I-29. I typically stay on the Omaha side of the river, but due to the convenience, I think Council Bluffs could be a better bet and closer to downtown Omaha, if you want that.

Room 108 had BEDBUGS! Also, it was out of shampoo. Room 110 was fine except it was out of shampoo and there was what I think was dog fur in the shower. The staff was nice. The breakfast was OK but the apple juice was just water and the cereal tasted stale. It was very loud but it was by the highway so I don't really blame them. We had to drive over a large bump in the lot to park and one of the bumps was too

No real butter available, juice wasn't good - Wifi was on the slow end, might have been a challenge if we were staying long enough to do work. - Offers support by text, lots of communication about wanting to make sure you have what you need. The front office girls were great and the room was average. The location is terrible though. I had the bedroom fan on and the ac on high all night yet still couldn't drown out the interstate and street traffic noise. Truckers with their constant jake brakes and the close by intersection had loud Harleys and pickups all throughout the night, it sucked.

Nice enough place on the surface. But internet only working about half time (and very slow). "Hot breakfast" truly among the worst I've ever experienced. But the real kicker was they seemed to be running--right in the area behind the check-in desk--some sort of day care operation for Down Syndrome infants/children. Young kids shrieking LOUDLY, off and on, for hours throughout the day. Impossible to work or read even in one's room. Have never experienced anything like it. Would definitely never come back.

The hotel is clean and reasonably priced. It's also right next to I-29, so there is some traffic all night and it picks up to being steady around 5 AM. Great place to stay, as long as you are a sound sleeper!

Ive stayed here numerous times and always pleased with my stay. The rooms are always very clean , i would choose this hotel over many others in the area. One thing that always stands out to me is the customer service. The people working the front desk are always the kindest and most willing to help you to make your stay enjoyable.

The person at the front desk was rude and unapologetic for not allowing cats. They have a pet policy but it doesn't say dogs only which is their actual policy. I didn't find out until I was checking in late at night. They didn't know how to refund my money and made me call Expedia to cancel to initiate the refund without any hint of care or kindness. I wasted over an hour with Expedia and this hotel and still haven't received a refund. Expedia needs to update their options for "pet policy" as should this hotel. They need to be clear that they do not accept cats before someone reserves a room. I had included the cat information in the note at booking. I don't think anyone should stay at this hotel!

Gave us keys/room that they had put someone else in. After trying 4 times to get keys that worked, realized someone else was in room. They had to figure out how that happened and to figure out which room was available. Took about 10 minutes of waiting- with two of us waiting in the hall with no chair. Unfortunate this all took place at midnight. No elevator. My handicapped dad was with us, so we had to just stay put. New room was ok, but the dispensers in shower were empty, so no shampoo. Not enough towels for the three of us, but wasn’t worth calling to get more at that point. Not sure how they got an 8.8 rating. Breakfast was ok, but really picked over by the time we got there at 9:00am. I get they were probably busy, but supposed to be until 9:30. Cranberry juice was not right. Out of other food, but they were replacing some. Not the pastries/breads.

All of the staff were amazing! There was a miscommunication that could have left me without a room for hours, but they were so kind and caring. They fixed it without a problem. I will always recommend them because of the way they looked out for me.

Our stay was great! Check in was easy, the gal I think her name was Lindsay was very nice. Told us about a local restaurant that we ended up going to and really enjoyed. Our trip took a snag and went back to front desk later to ask for suggestions for things to do in the area and the lady, I want to say Stephanie (could be wrong!) was very helpful. She gave us the information we needed to do some fun things with our kiddo! Breakfast the next day was also great! My son left his stuffy there on accident after we checked out and Lindsay called me and said they had found it and we’re keeping it safe for us until we were able to return to get it! Family friendly, great staff, great stay!

I travel to Omaha at least every other month. This was the first time I’ve stayed in Council Bluffs. I appreciate the value and friendliness of the staff. I will stay here again!

Nice enough place on the surface. But internet only working about half time (and very slow). "Hot breakfast" truly among the worst I've ever experienced. But the real kicker was they seemed to be running--right in the area behind the check-in desk--some sort of day care operation for Down Syndrome infants/children. Young kids shrieking LOUDLY, off and on, for hours throughout the day. Impossible to work or read even in one's room. Have never experienced anything like it. Would definitely never come back.

Nice place for the price. But the Cannabis Company next door really stinks up this neighborhood at night. I feel sorry for the permanent house and apartment residents right next door. If that place were not here, this would be a better experience.

Hesitated to comment. But, we did not think this hotel should be rated 9.0 Wonderful. We opted to not stay here because of the area around the hotel. We missed the entrance & drove through the adjacent neighborhood, which was not the best. The outside of the building was run down as well & very close to a busy freeway. The rooms were clean & the staff was pleasant. We just didn't want to stay due to the surrounding area mostly. We look at reviews before booking & felt a bit misled by the wonderful reviews. So, I felt I should share my thoughts with future travelers. I would rate it more like 7.5.

Pictures did not match actual hotel pictures and conditions. Didn't even check into hotel because the location seemed incredibly unsafe. If it was just me i would not have cared.

The front office girls were great and the room was average. The location is terrible though. I had the bedroom fan on and the ac on high all night yet still couldn't drown out the interstate and street traffic noise. Truckers with their constant jake brakes and the close by intersection had loud Harleys and pickups all throughout the night, it sucked.

Excellent service and very friendly. After reading reviews about breakfast, we were a little let down. Very basic - waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, plain bread for toast, juice and coffee. Not bad but we've had better at other places. Quiet when in room. TV small and bed was a bit hard for my taste, but again nothing bad. Room was very clean and well stocked.

No exterior street sign to access property. No fan or trash can in bathroom. Breakfast was marginal, watery instant eggs, no hot sausage or biscuit gravy, biscuits hard. Front desk had pack and play with two very young children / no desk personnel with them.

Very easy to get to and accessible. Few areas could be fine tuned on cleaning but it wasn't horrible. Staff on check in was great!! Very friendly! Breakfast options were amazing!!

Overall the property was great. The lady at the desk on check in was amazing and recommended other attractions in the area we may be interested in based on our itinerary. She also recommended a local pizza place over the standard chains. We followed her recommendation and ordered from Pizza Counter. Glad we did!! It was enjoyed by all 7 children (ages 2-16). The only issue we had was during breakfast. Food we were told would be available was not (coffee, biscuits, gravy). There was no milk for cereal. Eggs and sausage were cold due to the crockpots not being switched on. Muffins and cereal were stale. No plates. No one was at the desk to ask for assistance either. Breakfast service was 6:00-9:00. We arrived at 7:30. Another guest informed us that her son had gone through cabinets to refill what they could prior to our arrival.

Ive stayed here numerous times and always pleased with my stay. The rooms are always very clean , i would choose this hotel over many others in the area. One thing that always stands out to me is the customer service. The people working the front desk are always the kindest and most willing to help you to make your stay enjoyable.
