SpringHill Suites Des Moines West

We were less than impressed. The room was not the cleanest - the carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed. There were little piles of dirt in certain places and stains throughout the room. The fridge in the room did not work and the air conditioner did not work well either - it was so hot in our room. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice.

Nice breakfast, eggs sausage potatoes waffles cereals juice coffee etc. Didnt have a chance to use pool or hot tub. We had the 2 queen suite with couch. Huge room. Accessible. Te only thing we weren't crazy about was a sliding frosted glass bathroom door! A little weird especially if it's not just a couple.

Breakfast was very much appreciated and good variety.

Working hot tub and pool! Clean rooms. Standard hotel breakfast. Would stay again.

Front desk friendly and helpful. Found 2 old candy bars and wrappers in pull out sofa. The remote was also found under the sofa when moved. No trash liners in trash cans. Tub/shower wouldn’t drain. Showered with standing water in the tub. No bedding/sheets for pull out sofa. Had to take apart bedding from one of the queen beds and people had incomplete linens. The room design and layout was good. Some safety related items like an outlet that had been pushed into the wall by sofa being forced back into place with plugs being plugged in. Receptacle was cracked and pushed into the wall. Light switches were a little like an Easter egg hunt at times, but it was Easter weekend.
