The property is currently under renovations so be prepared for that. It may seem a bit run down in the lobby but it is a work in progress. Room was recently updated and very clean! Staff was so helpful and courteous. Wonderful people work at this location!!!

The pool was closed when we were there and the trip had been planned for over 6 months. We had the majority of rooms for our group and they were charging us a premium price per room. This is NOT an ideal hotel for a group. For a short stay one room, it’s decent. The staff was very nice.

Room was good. Reaerved the room here for the pool. Got there and checked in and the pool was closed for repairs. Didnt tell us and disnt knowntill we went to go swimming. Theybsaid they told us but my sons and i both never heard them say the pool was closed. Iys crap.

The only reason I gave this a 3 instead of 4 was we were there for a ball tourney and the elevator was broken, to take everything up 3 flights of stairs (coolers, gear, luggage) was just inconvenient, staff was great and breakfast was actually decent for hotel breakfast!

Breakfast was good, typical for a hotel hot breakfast. Our room’s bathroom sink had a faucet that was not securely bolted down and the sink stopper was missing. The elevator was out of service which they did not tell us until after putting us in a second story room.

Extremely unhappy with the fitness center. It had only 1 treadmill that was ancient and power was unsteady I was afraid to run on it. 1 elliptical was busted. Another treadmill was also busted. Weight machine was also busted. Weight scale was in kilograms. It was like I was in twilight zone. The breakfast at 630am was barely warm. Breakfast starts at 6.

We were told our room was on the second floor and the elevator was out of service. My wife and I are in our mid seventies and my sister-in law is eighty years old all with arthritis. We were not offered a room on the first floor.

Sparkling clean room, great mattress, very quiet, nice breakfast with healthy options. Especially appreciated the kind and efficient staff and option for later checkout without a fee, as we experienced a freak vehicle breakdown upon our arrival at the hotel and it took the shop time to fix it. Everyone was so cheerful and accommodating! Thank you!

The stay was horrific. I took hotels 8.8 recommendation and was extremely disappointed. Usually they are spot on! This one was 6.0. The sheets were stained, bugs in the room! Not sure if it was a roach. The police were called for domestic violence. A party in the parking lot! The bathrooms looked like they put lipstick on a pig! They put tile and kept an old tub and shower! The chemicals they used to cover up the smells in the room was over powering caused a sore throat and asthma issues. 50 percent of the breakfast wasn’t available or turned on. The front desk and workers great! 5 star! The hotel .5 stars

The room smelled like a wet dog. Gross!! When placing my bag on the floor 2 insects ran out from under the bed. I left and asked for a refund and was told only the manager could do that . I left the property and booked another room at a different hotel

the bed linens and towels were very dirty. they levied a charge on my card after my checkout which they are not clear why they levied. Lastly, this is not a Radisson property, hotels.com is incorrectly publishing the name. its a choice hotels property.

Very clean room and staff were excellent. We stayed for a football game. The price was more than what we paid for a 4-star Manhattan hotel, but I guess you have to expect that on the football game weekends. At the normal price point, this hotel is a really good value!

My stay was actually kinda miserable, but it took bad luck to make it that way, and I didn't give the staff an opportunity to fix it in time to help. The problem was that the thermostat didn't work. I had to either deal with the heat being on much too much, or off so I was cold by morning. If I hadn't arrived so late I just didn't want to think about it, I would have asked to be moved to another room. Pretty sure they'd have agreed. Also, the included breakfast was meh. Get what you pay for on that… The area? It's a row of hotels on a minor highway. It doesn't seem dangerous, but it's not really attractive. Interior was fine, though.

Room #207 was missing toilet roll holder, hook on the back of the bathroom door, and security latch on the door to the hall was just about falling off. Informed staff at front desk and they didn’t believe me until I showed them pictures of our room and #209 where my sister in law was staying

This Country Inn & Suites was fine. The staff was friendly, the hotel is overall in decent enough shape. We did encounter a few issues: there was someone else's hair in the bedsheets when we arrived, there are no blackout curtains (even in rooms that face a large street with bright flood lights), and the meals are extremely bare-bones and below average, so we ended up having to spend more $ going into town and paying for breakfast.

Mini fridge didn't work. The air conditioner didn't work. The staff in the morning when I went to check out was very rude and he shut the door on us when we were checking out. Could've been a better experience if the air conditioner worked and the mini fridge!

LOTS of things that need to be fixed! Bathroom door sticks. The drapes are only decorative, so the lights from outside shined in our eyes ALL NIGHT LONG, so it was impossible to sleep! The renovations are nice but they need to fix a bunch of other things too! No microwave! No bedding for sofa sleeper! No soap holder in shower! I would stay again if things got fixed!!!

Our room (221) was spotless and the mattress was comfy! BUT….the outside landscape light was pointed and aimed directly at the window…it was daylight in our room all night! Unfortunately there were no shades/curtains that could be drawn to darken the room…

Stayed two nights and in two different rooms. First night was great. Second night was not. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good. My issue was my second night in room 112. There is an outside light for the landscaping if I had to guess, but it shines directly into the window. I tried to cover it in a makeship tie with the curtains but it did not work. The picture I took was taken right around 11:45pm. It was super super bright and lit up the whole room. Not pleasant.

Maid walked into our room without knocking and saw my boyfriend completely undressed. I called the front desk and asked to talk to a supervisor. She said the supervisor would be in the next day. I have not received a call from anyone in regards to this. The assistant manager told me the maid does not understand due to a language barrier. Completely unacceptable. I will never stay there ever again. If the maid was a man, and saw me undressed, I would have called the police.

Comfortable 1-night stay but what I want to praise is the FRONT DESK STAFF! Two ladies were super friendly upon check-in. Then employees earned 12 out of 10 when I called days later to say I left my pillow in my room. One person tracked it down and called me back to say it was there. When I went back through town days later at 9pm, a lady and a gentleman were so kind and friendly to find where it was stored and return it to me. I’ll definitely stay there again the next time I need a hotel in Champaign!

A wall beam and picture fell on my husband while he was sleeping. While the front desk associates were friendly and wanted to help, the manager only authorized half off the room rate. I wanted the cost of the room refunded as this could have been a major injury if the beam struck his head. We will be following up with our family attorney if we can’t resolve this with the hotel property directly. Aside from this incident, the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.

I have never had a situation like this before... Booked this hotel because I tend to trust chain hotels and read some good reviews. On the day of the arrival to U of I for mothers' weekend, I called the hotel to let them know I was planning to check in late. The receptionist notified me that my 1 bdrm suite which I paid for up front, was not available, it was sold out. Instead, I was going to be placed in a regular room with 2 beds and wasn't even offered a credit. The receptionist was rude about it too. She gave me an option of canceling the booking or taking a less expensive accommodation. I ended up spending 30 min on the phone with Expedia agent, who talked to the hotel staff, and, magically, my booking was made available to me at the end. I will avoid this place at all costs in the future, why bother?

From the start our checking was great. The desk staff was so friendly. Room was great, very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Most hotel breakfast are good to Ok. This was really good. Good fresh and hot. We got a check out text to remind us text is at noon. The only thing I didn’t like every 15 min housekeeping was knocking on the door starting at 9:00. That was the ONLY bad thing we were up. But baseball didn’t start until 4:00. So we were planning on hanging out in the room until then. But checked out early because it was getting annoying.

It was overall very nice as Country Inn & Suites are, it was disappointing at breakfast that the waffle maker was missing. I had asked the attendant about it and she just said that it was broken and not available now!
