Arrived around 5pm on a Thursday and it was dark and quiet. No tv no music in the lobby, all lights were off. A young man came from the office to check me in. The first room I was assigned to had joining doors with the room next to me. The door had clearly been modified and didn’t shut or lock. Which would allow the neighbors access anytime. It was very creepy. I went back to the desk and tho the hotel seemed as if I was the only guest, he had trouble assigning me to a different ground floor room. As I had a walking boot for a foot fracture and this hotel does not have an elevator. I could not do stairs. When I said I needed a refund so I could go elsewhere he Finally he got me into another ground floor room. The hotel isn’t clean and just has a very creepy vibe at night. The morning person was great, bright and cheery and very welcoming.

The front desk and breakfast area staff were friendly and competent. It was mostly quiet except for early morning when the workers at the next door newspaper company arrived for work and played radios loudly. This hotel does not have an elevator so it is not suitable for those with disabilities who would want to stay on the 2nd floor. Finally, the morning breakfast is subpar unfortunately, with plain scrambled eggs and puny looking “French toast” sticks. However, there is a waffle making machine which looked fine but we didn’t try it. Our room was clean, the shower and AC/Heat worked just fine. The TV was glitchy at times but basically just fine.

This was the worst possible experience pool heater wasnt working even though staff said it was room ac didnt work was told my suite was on ground floor and got there and it was on second floor they have no elevator so my blind wife had to go up stairs which made her every uncomfortable

I was in town for my daughter’s major surgery- a double mastectomy. I wanted someplace to stay overnight with her boys so we could check on her the next morning before I took them 2 1/2 hours away for the 4 1/2 days. I chose country inn because of the ratings AND the fact the it had an indoor pool WHICH UNFORTUNATELY but NOT in working order AND was NOT even mentioned upon check in. There were OLD water stains on the bathroom walls and there were like bleached out spots on the carpet in the hallway.

The hotel was ok, not the cleanest. Phone in room did not work, we were located right by pool, did not close pool at 10:00, has to call desk. Breakfast was okay. Back door stuck and had to be jerked open after using code card.

It was ok nothing special nothing horrible except for the BLOOD stains in the shower! Not making this up. Corners had blood in the mold and stains in the middle of the tub. They been there a long time and it’s absolutely gross.

It was freezing out and the ground had not been prepared for safety well enough. The entrance door was propped open. There was mess in the entrance. That mess included a bag of ice melt that had not been used on the walkway. We were checked in but not welcomed professionally. We were interrupting the man's snack time, the remains of which were present in his beard. The woman in the morning was pleasant and professional. She was charming as well. This was a surprise given the previous nights lackluster greeting. The room was not very clean. Detritus on the floor and a hairball in the bathroom were present. The mattress and the box springs were not a set and didn't fit each other. We did not complain at the hotel as it would have interrupted our new year's plans. One last thing, we are local and have not seen an American flag flying outside of the hotel for some time. Thank you.

The mini fridge still had dirt in it from the last people who stayed in the room. They didn’t check their complementary soaps and we had half used shampoo in our bathroom. They also had stained up linen in our bathroom. They also have drinks for purchase but it’s cash only and you can’t charge it to your room very inconvenient. Definitely won’t return to this location. Also the complimentary breakfast is all from boxes which is no big deal but at least make sure it’s warm enough to eat!

I have a couple complaints. One is that I had 2 attempts at breakfast and found hair in the eggs both times. Second is one of the 3 rooms I had was covered in bed bugs. Third is the service at the front desk. When the two issues I mentioned was brought up they were pretty much ignored and the guy went rite back to sleep in the chair as if I was bothering him and putting him out. The girl that checked in all 3 of my rooms was very clueless as to what she was doing and we had to get room keys re-swiped every day because she couldn’t figure out how to swipe them for multiple days.

The breakfast food that was supposed to be hot was cold, and very underwhelming. The gentlemen that checked me in was very friendly and did a great job; however, when entering our room it smelled AWFUL of must and mildew. It was late and we were tired, so I just tried to overlook it. When showering the next morning I saw mold in the bathroom. While the place appears to have been somewhat updated, they need to properly remove mold and mildew, and put in new carpet as it was stained and gross.

This hotel was ok. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was standard. There were no towel racks or hooks in our room. The refrigerator was REALLY loud. Super annoying in the middle of the night. Also, the rooms right at the top of the stairs are not conducive to sleeping in the morning, as you can hear the noise from breakfast.

The sink was almost completely clogged with stranger hair. The beds have metal rods sticking out the sides that i banged my shin on. The air conditioner started loudly rattling in the middle of the night and the only fix was to shut it off and sweat. Discovered before leaving that the window was broken, with a gap to the outside big enough to get my fingers through.

We chose Country Inn and Suites because the rates were good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with varied choices the 3 mornings we were there. The amazing element was customer service. We had glitches with arrival times for our group, and the staff juggled to make a room available. We had a disaster with wedding clothes, and they found the needed solutions. They were friendly and accommodating beyond any reasonable expectation!

we were given keys to room 223 when i opened the door there was a young lady in her bra and underwear staring at me her parents behind her we were both shocked said I was given the key to this room and apologized and went back to desk who called the room and asked what was going on why were they in 223. Clerk then gave me a key to room 233 in an envelope with a different name on it. In the morning no one was at desk when we checked out at 7 am to go to the Indy 500 some guy yin the dining area said just put the keys in the jar on the counter.

Only needed a pit stop to lay our head for the night. Front desk staff is inattentive . I had to get the person’s attention during an evening check- in ( pulling him away from his phone to be assisted. ) In the morning, a bowl is left at the front desk for you to put your room keys so that they do not have to interact with guest. Nobody at the desk when we went to check in at 4:00pm. Had to wait almost 15 minutes before someone showed up. First room stunk of mildew. We found the fridge door was stuck open and leaking due to huge ice buildup in the fridge component. We went back to an empty desk again and the clerk was slightly rude about us changing our room. I thought I would be nice and tell her about what we found with the fridge and she could not care less. Gave us a new key and off we went. Room was fine. Sunday morning at 8:00am there was a few very young kids in the hallway slamming doors, running up and down the hallway, yelling and screaming. It went on for at least an hour. I looked into the hallway to find parents and no adults around, (probably eating breakfast down the hall), called to the desk to address it, and no answer. Probably will not stay here again.

I was the only guest in the hotel last night! But I was treated well. They were obviously not going to put out the full breakfast buffet for one person, but they made sure I had everything I needed.

The breakfast was poor. The selection was mediocre, the area was messy and what was offered wasn’t good. The coffee was watered down. They served butter in a tub that everyone used. It was so unsanitary. The hotel was quiet but I would not stay again.

The breakfast & coffee was good. The accommodations for disabled or elderly are well provided for on the first floor. They do not have an elevator to the 2nd floor yet it did not present a problem.

This motel was the best we have stayed at in our 9 day trip in the upper midwest. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The advertised breakfast was actually offered and included a variety of fruit, cereal waffles, and eggs. Decent towels for the shower. Would recommend to others and use again.

The hotel was very clean and would stay here again. It was fully booked, and it was still quite and didn't hear a bunch of doors slamming in the middle of the night or people in the hall. We only had a couple issues in both rooms. The power strip that the fridge was plugged into was out of the wall a little bit, so both of the fridges were not running and had defrosted so there were puddles of water in them. And the other issue was the air conditioner. It was hot and muggy in the rooms. We turned the air down as far as it would go to 64, but it never got cooler then 68 in there, so we had to go buy a fan to help cool it down. Breakfast could have been better, not much of a selection, so we went across the street for breakfast.

The breakfast food that was supposed to be hot was cold, and very underwhelming. The gentlemen that checked me in was very friendly and did a great job; however, when entering our room it smelled AWFUL of must and mildew. It was late and we were tired, so I just tried to overlook it. When showering the next morning I saw mold in the bathroom. While the place appears to have been somewhat updated, they need to properly remove mold and mildew, and put in new carpet as it was stained and gross.

One of the best hotel stays I've had in a while. Pros: The check in process was the fastest I've ever had. The hotel was very quiet. The room was very spacious and clean. There were extra blankets and pillows in the room. Shower was very hot and great water pressure. Cons: Even though there were a range of pillows of desired firmness, they were well used and very uncomfortable (lumpy). Thankfully we brought an extra. The breakfast was ok, but a little over cooked. If we return to the area we would stay again.
