Pool was not available under repair. No accommodation was offered. Saturday August 3,2024 was upper 90s.

Pool closed. No elevator.

Exit off the interstate to property was closed and took 30 more minutes to get to property. Pool closed due repairs. No elevator for upper level rooms. Ice machine broken awaiting parts for days. Overall poor experience.

Overall, it's much better than you might expect. While the property is a bit on the old side, it's clean, the staff was helpful. The parking lot is what lets the property down. There are significant potholes that are just filled with gravel. But the price was right, and the room was comfortable.

Good location right off of I-70. Affordable too. Rooms are large and comfortable. Place is a bit dated and could use some fresh paint, but no complaints about the actual comfort. The breakfast room is large and had an ok selection of the usual hotel free breakfast fare. They should double the number of coffee thermoses as the one they had kept running out while I was there.

Gym and pool both closed. Good breakfast. No Kleenex in the room.

When I made the reservation, it did not tell me the Hotel was being remodeled From a quality Inn to a Baymont. There was no elevator and no mention of that on the reservation. It was a non-smoking facility but there was a smoke smell on the second floor from one of the rooms. The breakfast Area was being redone so Fortunately, the meeting room upstairs had a continental breakfast available. It was nice that it was pet friendly. I did review my bill and was charged $80 on Wednesday and Thursday, but on Friday, was charged $100. I feel I should have been charged $80 since not all of the amenities were available.

Right next to I-70 exit. Ice machine broke ( new one on the way). Needed a clean, quiet place to sleep for Indy 500 and this worked. Would stay again.

The lot you had to drive through to get to the hotel had huge potholes and was half flooded

The room seemed dirty and outdated. The breakfast was terrible. Limited options and terrible quality. We also waited too long at the front desk. When she finally arrived her shirt said, “This is my I don’t care shirt”. We could tell you didn’t care…If I could’ve gotten a refund and found a better hotel that late, I would’ve.

Very clean room. But bed too high. Limited fresh fruit choices at breakfast. Excessive trash at front door.

The bathroom has what appeared to be dead bugs or possibly feces in the corner. I requested a the bathroom be cleaned and the guy just comes in with a spray bottle, wipes up the corner, and leaves. The air conditioner took HOURS to even start blowing cold air. Then it took hours more to cool the room. The carpet also felt very odd if you walked barefoot on it. Like, after you shower. Almost like a sticky sensation. I wouldn't stay here again, honestly. I picked this hotel because of the rating and cost, but I see the 7.8 rating is fake.

Breakfast buffet was very good. Plenty of options. Room had a bad odor. Sink had slow drain. Bathroom floor needed a good scrub.

The room was unclean. Hallway carpet was nasty and stained. Dogs roaming around the halls. The smell was terrible. Only stayed out of desperation. Never again!

Our stay at this hotel was almost entirely awful. When I arrived to check in, the style of room we had reserved (1 king bed) was unavailable, so we had to take a room with 2 queen beds. The prices were different for these two options on Expedia, but I never saw any reimbursement and the clerk told me the prices were the same. Strike 1. Then, while trying to check in, the clerk fielded two full phone calls in the process. No, he didn’t put them on hold while he was helping me, he answered the phone calls fully while my wife and I stood there with our bags waiting. Strike 2. The carpets on the stairs and in the hallway were covered in dirt and stains, and the whole hotel smelled of mildew and stagnation. Strike 3. The room also smelled of mildew and was disgustingly humid. It felt like I was camping in a tent the way the pillow felt on the back of my head, damp and uncomfortable. Strike 4. The TV was tiny, the towels were small and scratchy, and all in all the room wasn’t a pleasant place to be. Strike 5. All of the good reviews on here said the breakfast was good, but after all the other terrible things we had to deal with, we didn’t even bother trying it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, even for a cheap hotel it was abysmal.

Took 3 people to check in. Room was shabby and not clean. Shower had soap and hair on the wall. There was no shampoo either.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The staff was abysmal, barely acknowledged us any time we came or went. The hotel claims to be under renovation and have "newly renovated rooms" but when we asked to be moved to one, they admitted that none were renovated. The room smelled like must and depression with a dampness covering all surfaces. Mold, stains and questionable smells were persistent throughout the entire hotel. Lights in the hallway were either missing or hanging by wires, with wallpaper strewn about the floor. The housekeeping was non-existent as they didn't visit our room once in the 4 nights we stayed there. We had to ask for fresh towels each day, and those were damp and pathetic. The TV didn't work, the clock and phone were from the 80s, the water pressure felt like a sad garden hose trickling down. No kleenex, toilet paper as thin as this countries grasp on reality and more stains throughout than a back alley street. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again if you paid me to. I will be back to Greenfield again next September and would rather sleep in a gutter before stepping foot in this hotel ever again.

The hotel is old but clean. Even with the number of pets in the hotel, it was quiet and didn’t smell. The carpets were old but not stained. The staff were kind and helpful.

My room's AC unit did not blow cold air, the cleaning people left behind two bananas that had to have been sitting for a few days as they were very dark on the shelf above the fridge, and the fridge had mold in it because it was unplugged. Room 214. Right up the staircase from the front desk and first door on the right. They should clean the carpets in that room. It has a smell to it.

Clean rooms. We were misinformed that breakfast was 6am to 9am. Then told it starts at 7am on weekends. Parking lot and drive very rough, repairs needdd. NO HOT WATER on Sunday morning. One set of entrance doors were not working. We continously had to have our door keys reset. We could not get in our room. This happened at least 6x in two days. Outside was unkept. Weeds in the shrub beds and light fixtures off or hanging off the building. Will not stay there again.

Good place to lay your head for a night at a reasonable price. Heater unit is loud when it turns on.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The hallway was musty but it appears they are in the middle of renovating. A comfortable place to stay for one night and close to stores and places to eat.

Our room had a strange smell, the toilet ran all the time, and the AC unit was incredible noisy.

Waited in the lobby (with my dog) for ten minutes while the employee was on the phone. My booking was confirmed as pet friendly, the sign outside boasted pet friendly, employee finally gave me my key (to the second level), and as I was walking back outside to gather my things he told me they were not pet friendly. I told him everything says pet friendly, and my booking was for a pet friendly room, otherwise I never would have booked it. He corrected himself and said the second floor was not pet friendly, then continued to argue until finally giving me a room on the first floor. Later that evening (close to 10:00), he called my room and told me neighbors were complaining about my dog barking. There were no neighbors on either side of my room, and my dog was not barking. I told him that she was not barking, and that he'd be able to hear it through the phone if she was, instead of apologizing, or handling it any other way, he repeatedly told me to "Just take care of the barking" (that wasn't happening). The wi-fi was a joke, only one bar, if you were lucky. I ended up needing to use a hotspot on my phone to get any work done. They only give you one key, which is annoying when you have more than one person staying in the room. There also wasn't any extra toilet paper in the room, and the roll that was in there was more than halfway used. Overall not a great experience.

The staff are always friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and comfortable at a decent price. Im a frequent traveler to the area, and this was my second stay here. I have already booked for next weekend as well.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked this hotel a month in advance. The lady that was checking me in said I wasn't in their system. So after showing her my receipt and asking for a manager or a number to get help, she continued to tell me e to eat Expedia to help instead. Horrible customer service. I will never be back as I had to pay another $100.00 on top of the $73.19 that I already paid to stay the night

We found out on our way in that Baymont just took over the property a week ago. I can say GARY at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and genuine, none of this fake corporate pleasantries but genuinely a nice guy. Took great care of us and took his time checking us in. Since it’s only been a week renovations we still ongoing but they are definitely cleaning up the place nicely!

Nobody at the front desk when we arrived…….for 30 minutes. Called and the person said they were “helping a guest”, aka smoking weed outside. First room we were put in hadnt been cleaned, bed was used and towels on the floor. New room wasnt much better, though it had clean sheets and towels. You can hear everything in the rooms. Very outdated, not exactly clean, no elevator, rude/lazy staff, Location us the only thing this place has. For $100, def go somewhere else.

Confusion on check in with switch of name/company. Owner helpful, but front desk staff impatient. Hotel very worn, needs updates. Safety was issue as side door into hotel left unlocked and propped open.

The room was fantastic! I just want to comment on the staff though, they were all SOOOO FRIENDLY! I have never been to a hotel where the staff was so friendly. Not only friendly but so helpful!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

The stay was overall ok. Check in was rough, they have a new system and had a hard time checking me in from a 3rd party reservation. The room overall was ok, the bed a bit harder than I like but everything else was good.

This is my go-to spot when traveling thru Indy. I've stayed here multiple times. They dont charge the stupid "incidental fee". Staff is always available at the front desk. Every trip I arrive around 11 pm and I'm greeted as if its 4 pm in the afternoon.

Property staff was rude and inattentive to our needs. Because we used Expedia to book our room, they decided not to help us.

Although this hotel is tucked away behind a Bob Evans restaurant, it's a good place to stay and the price was lower than average. It may not look like much from the outside but the rooms are very nice. Parking lot needs some work however, with numerous potholes, kinda like the rest of the road conditions in the state of Indiana. Free breakfast and coffee from 6-9 AM was nice.

Our room is a good size and has great amenities. There were also some simple personal touches added--a bow made out of tissues for the tissue box was cute. The host on shift was very helpful in offering to help get our items to our room door on the second floor. The hotel is having some renovations, but our area isn't affected. The dining room is spacious. The area nearby has great shopping and dining options, and the location is near the highway and is easy to find.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. But I made sure our doors were triple locked, there were some sketchy drunk people that seemed to live there. They would smoke outside the door so it smelled like smoke and pot in the hallways. They said they were renovating and it definitely needs it. Very dated on everything. Breakfast was nice and had options.

Stayed here previously and decided to make a return on my trip through Indiana. Welcoming and friendly staff, comfortable room, and good free breakfast and coffee.

Everything was great. Liked the biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Hallway carpets need updated. Quiet atmosphere. Safe feeling in room. Stayed here before when it was Quality Inn. I’m sure Baymont will make improvements. Will stay here again.
