Hotel looks nice and fairly well maintained. Unfortunately, we had to get a room on the first floor because there's no elevator and my crew have disablities and cannot go up/down stairs easily. The front desk clerk told me the electronic locks are not working on our door but they would lock it when we left if needed and I made sure to dead bolt it at night. Minor inconvenience for a one night stay. The room was mostly clean, there was some rice on the floor, but other than that the bedding was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimal, cereal, toast/muffins/bagles, egg patties, sausage gravy, biscuits, banans, apples, waffles, and yogurt. No bacon which was a bit disappointing. Overall, would stay again.

The room and building was okay. Things are a bit dated and worn, but the place and room were clean, comfortable and mostly maintained. The security seemed adequate, breakfast was a good selection of options and the dining area was kept clean and stocked. An elevator would be nice. The only issues that I brought up at checkout was the safety latch/stop for the door was broke and hang by a nail, the door deadbolt did not engage or work and the bathroom exhaust fan was non functional. The room itself was clean and comfortable, good a/c and adequate channels on the TV. The staff was friendly and courteous.

This was a king suite with a jacuzzi in the room. The caulk around the tub needed redone, the pillow cases were stained, and the timer switch in the room that turns the jets on in the jacuzzi didn't shut off so the jets were super noisy all night. I finally went to the front desk and told the lady about it and she came to check it out then went back to thr front desk and flipped the breaker switch for the jacuzzi and it stopped then she turned it back on to see if it would fix the issue but it didn't. I wasn't given a refund for the faulty jacuzzi or offered another room which would've been nice. When these rooms are what they're suppose to be they can be really nice and enjoyable but this was not a good experience at all.

Nice, well kept property (if on the older side). Super convenient to groceries and local restaurants, and tons of parking. Right off the freeway, and a close jog to the Blue River Cross Country course.

Friendly staff and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were surprisingly comfortable considering the odd size of them. We slept right through breakfast The shower had great pressure and the hot was HOT.

When I checked in late at night there was a sketchy looking man sitting in a cargo truck in the parking lot very late at night and they were not even aware of it even though it was clearly visible on their security camera on the monitor when I checked in at the front desk. The sheets had nasty stains from bodily fluids on them and one set was dirty. They ran out of syrup for breakfast and did not have anymore in the hotel.

Room had a smell when you first entered it, didn’t notice it once you were in the room. When you turned the shower water on it initially came out very rusty, then cleared up. Lights in bathroom area are motion sensor lights so they pop on in the middle of the night if you have to get up, which lights up the room for others sleeping. I probably will choose a different hotel next time.

Typical quality inn property. the lights were on sensors so whenever you got up to go to the restroom in the middle of the night it would blast the whole room with lights so just remember where the light switches are so you can tap the bottom button real quick and not wake up everyone.

Upon checking in the guy at the front desk was very rude! He answered a personal phone call while checking us in. It was weird. The room was terrible, air conditioner would not turn on. We just left, called customer service so we wouldn't get charged for the room

The clerk wt check in asked for my credit card even though i paid ahead via Expedia. She said it was for "incidentals". Upon checkout she could not provide me with a receipt showing no incidental charges were accessed. She showed me a picture of her computer screen wherethere were no charges which she took with her phonebut would not share it with me or take the same picture with my phone so i had the info to reconcile withmy cteditcard bill. There was no manager onsite to help although she said she called him she still was unable to help me. Very unhappy with this customer service.

Quality Inns are pretty consistent in terms of the rooms, breakfast, and price relative to what you get. Those are usually pretty good, but this one in Shelbyville distinguished it by having good local and franchise restaurants within a short walk, a gym and WalMart also a short walk away, and good running walking trails and roads right out the door,

Very plain, nothing impressive about the room or the dining area. Toilet was really low, bed was very comfortable Front staff person was nice but one person does it all. Checking in and out, answering phone, refilling breakfast station. Breakfast was basic and items were re-heated in the back (same guy ) as needed Don’t like that since I booked the room on another online site, I don’t get credit for the stay with choice hotels

The good: We arrived early in the morning and was promptly greeted. Our check-in was simple and quick. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. The hotel was quiet and restful. The bad: the room had a funny smell to it, not bad just funny. The breakfast was very lacking. In fact, we never ate there because it was unappetizing. Eggs, sausage, bread, waffles, cereal, and fruit was the extent of it. The eggs were dried out and nasty looking. I would highly recommend that they rethink breakfast. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.
