Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Shelbyville was excellent. The front desk staff were very professional and showed a great deal of kindness and care. The rooms were very clean and provided a comfortable place of rest and enjoyment. The breakfast was very good and offered my family with a great start to our day. The pool was a little cool and my family and I really wished a hot tub was available, but everything was clean and offered a great place to find respite from our busy lives.

The hotel was the cleanest hotel I have ever seen. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. Many options the food was fresh. The coffee was wonderful. The pool area was very clean and inviting. The workout room was clean. The staff was by far the friendliest staff of any hotel I have ever been in. We heard absolutely no noise from outside of our room. We couldn't hear the neighbors or their tv like you can in many hotels. By far the best hotel stay I have ever had. We stayed 3 nights and will be staying there anytime we are in the area.

Bottom sheet had brown stain on it; There was a “vacuuming” sound 24/7 that was sooo annoying; Room was not cleaned for 2nd day. We were told we had to ask for the room to be cleaned and to get fresh towels but we were never told this now did we read this anywhere.

Everything was great, the lady at the front desk was amazing. My only complaint was the noise from other guests be cause of the poorly insulated walls. I could hear everything. We were on the 2nd floor and we could heard people in the parking lot. Our family was in a room close to the interstate and they heard the traffic all night.

Great property. Only issue was having to have room card key updated at the desk every day because they turned all keys off everyday between 10 and 11 am. I was with a group of people with 7 rooms total and this happened to all of them. It was annoying. My guess is someone didnt know what they were doing or too lazy to properly do their job.

We came with another couple to celebrate my husband's birthday. Fast uber to the casino. Clean and spacious rooms. Easy check in process. Clean bathroom and nice shampoos/soaps. Breakfast was very nice. Best hotel in the area. Will definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Our stay was great. The staff were super nice and helpful. The breakfast was really good with lots to chose from. The bed was wonderful with excellent bedding and 4 pillows 2 firm and 2 soft. Had a great night's sleep. Will stay there again.
