We booked this hotel because it had a pool and after a long day of shopping were looking forward to a swim. The pool upon check in was out of service until the following day, we have to check out then!

The location of this hotel was great! Breakfast was decent. The pool was being renovated, which we didn’t know before booking. Noise travels so easy in this hotel. It was noisy. All night.

There is not a business center at this hotel. It was very hard to be able to print anything needed for work, with offices, locally were closed due to weather. We had to modify our training location, and without a business center we were stuck, trying to train in the lobby. Because we were told we were not allowed to access their conference rooms. But there was vacuuming, going on and mopping going on while we were trying to hold corporate calls and meetings in the lobby. We asked about a conference room and they told us they were booked, but we walked past them. They were empty. Just very disappointed as this is a great location for us to return to. Unfortunately, we will not be utilizing this location for future business trips. The lobby was very cold, and with the door continually open and closing it just continued to get colder and colder..

Nice, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Restaurant food great. The ONLY thing that was not excellent was the pool temperature. It's supposed to be a heated pool, but it's way too cold to swim in during winter.

The room was clean and nice. The property is torn up. All of the first floor is being remodeled. All of the doors around the property are not working so you can only go into the hotel from the front door. Parking is very limited. There are a lot of shipping containers in the parking lot taking up parking spaces. No continental breakfast. Overall for the price of the stay I would pass on the property the next time I am in town.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who cares about cleanliness. The room wasn't so bad other than a drawer on the dresser kept coming open because of the dip in the floor. The carpet in the hallway was disgusting. It had large stains and it was shredding. The chairs in the dining were dirty and gross. The tables looked like they had cup rings and streaks. It was imbedded in the tables because I seen the help clean the tables and they still looked dirty. We did however enjoy the 3 patio areas they have. Not worth the money, could have stayed in a Motel 6 and been cleaner and less money. Oh, and you had to join Hilton rewards to get free WiFi and you had to pay $8.97 for continental breakfast or 11.99 for the grill. I do have to say the staff was pleasant.

This property looks great from the outside and when you walk in the lobby…. But the general hallways need help, the carpenting is horrible looking in wear and tear and smelling like an old airport. I’ve been at many Hilton Gardens in Orlando with a lot more tourism. I’ve never seen such nasty hallways on every floor. On the first in front of some of the conference room doors their is gross large stains… there is some wear and tear in rooms as well!!

My husband and I love this hotel in KC when we visit friends. We have stayed there more than once over the last couple years. Rooms are always clean, the caulking in the bathroom is never dingy or moldy. If you travel or regularly book rooms you know what I mean. Price is always worth it. Service is always friendly. Beds are comfy. We will continue to use this hotel when we go to KC. And conveniently located.

Overall the property was great. The floor we stayed on needed to have the hall carpet replaced. It was bunched up in areas and there were a lot of stains. Our room was great though, clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Lobby and staff were nice. The rooms were really outdated. The walls are extremely thin, I had a hard time sleeping and had to use ear plugs because I could hear the neighboring TV on one side, a guy sneezing all night on the other side, and people stomping around above. I highly recommend the top floor on the corner if you are going to stay here and are a light sleeper. I stayed for two nights and had horrible sleep both nights. Also the water pressure in the shower was pretty bad.

I thought Hilton had a higher level of reputation. This hotel was awful. The bed was so hard. We stayed 2 nights and requested maid service which never happened. The toilet backed up. The noise level at 11pm made it difficult to sleep. We had to call the front desk several times before they answered and then had to plunge our own toilet. Will never stay at a Hilton property again

There was a very rude desk clerk who would not let me and my 13 year old daughter check into our room at 2:00am. He said there was a problem with my reservation and that Expedia hadn’t paid them yet. I explained that I have a receipt saying I paid Expedia, and I got a confirmation number from them. It was so awful, I asked to speak to the manager. The clerk told me I had to wait until morning as there was no manager on duty at that time. Mind you this is less than 2 minutes before he called “the manager to help us out” RIGHT in front of me! So I know he’s lying but there’s nothing I can do about it and we both know it. I tried calling their Hilton help line and while the girl was very nice, she ended up telling me there was nothing she could do and I should call and talk to the manager the next day. Finally, at 3am I just left and got into my car, found another hotel, and drove us there. Otherwise we would have been stuck in the car.

I would go here anytime if in the area. Staff very friendly. I also had to change my trip 2 times and they’ve agreed to waive my fees. They were great. Room clean, spacious and bed comfortable.

The staff is good and friendly. My family swam and use the hot tub an hour or so dried off and went to the bar for a drink waiting for my daughter to show up. Had a few drinks, and then when all was back in the pool for about an hour. The bartender and the night staff were very friendly and good service. Altogether a pleasant stay.

We typically stay at a different Overland Park hotel with suite options, but I decided to branch out this time. First of all, every single staff person we encountered was so friendly. The rooms were nice, the pool was great for what our family looks for (plus it had a hot tub, which was an added bonus). We were exhausted after a long day in Kansas City when we checked in and decided to eat dinner at the hotel. They had decent options and both adults and kids were able to find something we would eat. We didn’t do breakfast at the hotel but it looked like an okay spread. Breakfast would be my only complaint, and a very minor complaint. The cost is not included in your stay, which was fine. But it was missing some staples, like eggs. The cost for their full hot breakfast was about the same to go down the street to a breakfast spot where we could order off the menu. That being said, I would definitely stay again.

They do charge $50.00 Incidentals. Hopefully will be refunded quickly. Place was clean, had a small but nice pool. Don't count on free breakfast. If you want the works it'll cost you $14.00 plus tax. Good location. Room was quiet.
