Our favorite hotel to stay at when we travel in this area! Love the convenience of a full kitchen. Super clean rooms and building. Feel super safe there- the outside entrances close at 11pm. You cave to call for entrance after that, an extra layer of security!

Close to our family across the major street into a residential area. Well lit and traffic signals and sidewalks made walking to visit relatives very easy and convenient. We were disappointed in the amenities--eg, coffee maker but no filters. No dish soap or handtowels so we couldn't make use of the kitchen facilities. Pillows were lousy but bed was comfortable.

Kaylee and Grant at the front desk were outstanding! They delivered excellent customer service. The hotel is in a very nice area, good for walking, close to the highway and all kinds of shopping. Now the hotel... the website is a lie. The room was only surface clean, needed a deep clean everywhere. The floors were done with what must have been a sticky squeaky disinfectant spray. Tub floor was gray. Kitchen had nothing but 1 dish towel, nothing else. The TV was old and small. the air conditioner worked but was very loud. No breakfast really. No meeting room really. Common areas such as: laundry room, elevator, muffin/coffee room was dirty. No decafe for the evening. Fridge was full size and worked. The place was outdated and sad. The price was cheap but I'll pay a little more and go somewhere else next time. There are a lot of other options around that area.

Its a fairly clean outdated hotel that needs upgrades. It's rather outdated. Needs better lighting. Dim lighted hallways. Very dark and gloomly. Needs to be given a fresher look. Needs paint, new carpet, bathrooms, kitchen, televisions. My room was comfortable, but had a strange odor. Television needed new remote, had 2 lamps that didnt work, bathroom sink didn't have a stopper. Staff was nice and efficient. It was in a great location. I will probably find another place to stay next time unless they gut the place and start over new. It needs some serious attention if they want customers to have an "extended stay".

Check in was easy, even though it was late night the ladies at the front desk were helpful and kind. Room was clean and towels were fluffy and nice. No dishes, but they can be arranged for use in room if you need them. Full size fridge. Comfortable bed.

This was a Sh__ Hole! Don't stay here! The room smelled like Dog P__! The floors were filthy. There was no cups in the room, no hangers, no coffee maker and it cost 2 dollars for bottle of water...if the machine doesn't take your money! Which forget about getting your money back. The day shift clerk was a total A__ Hole! I had to beg for 2 glasses. The hotel doesn't own the vending machine, so they have NO control over the machine. There was 7 lights in the king size room and only 3 worked! So it was dark, smelly and extremely disappointing to have to stay the night there. It was right across the street from the hospital, where my husband was having surgery. Drive a few next minutes down the road! And save yourself the awful experience I will never stay in am American Extended Stay hotel, ever again!! The only plus for this hotel was the was comfortably.

Bed was hard. Could. Ot recliner to recline. No dish ware in room. Needed deposit for coffee maker. Roach in bathroom, drawers in dresser did not stay closed. Went to desk to get dish ware, no one was there. Could not leave trash in room, had to place in “trash room”. Morning of departure we went outside our room, hallway stunk (our room across from trash room). Opened the door and trash was all over the floor and we gagged on the Stench.

First of all, we came into the building and all the lights to the lobby were off. We waited for someone to come out for at least five minutes, then gave the hotel a call and still no one. We called one more time and then I had to yell out "hello" before someone finally came from the back. The computer messed up when we were getting checked in so they had to call someone and get that fixed. We reserved a two bed and they informed us they did not have any two bed so we had to get a one bed room. We finally made it up to our room and our sheets looked like there was blood on them. The blankets were nothing but sheets and the whole hotel smelled like mildew or cat pee or a combo of both. The management seriously needs to do something about this hotel. If you don\'t want to give customers good service you just need to close it up and lock the doors because the things that were below par are basic things that management would be able to take care of. I will never stay here again unfortunately.

Awful service! We got the broken room - broken computer desk. Sleeper sofa’s mattress smells so awful and very dirty! I requested to clean the room and get clean towels and bed sets. They weren’t not accommodating for any changes. I understand that they don’t have to do anything, but they weren’t willing to even listen or check into situations. We had a nonsmoking room and it smelled like smoke. Like they had just bombed to cover the smell. Not just our room but the halls, walls, and floor was so dirty, unkempt. It was a yucky feeling. The bedding was that wet, like they were trying to dry in the room with the air conditioning. I’m so thankful it was just my husband and I and we didn’t bring our children. It was just uncomfortable and we were only there for one night! I wouldn’t recommend.

Check in was okay however when I went back for an extra key Chris was on her phone and after 5 mins I finally spoke up and asked for some help. She seemed bothered, threw her phone down, and asked what my name was. When I got to the room, the room was not clean and smelled like cigarettes. The shower did not work properly nor did the TV (no signal). To make it even better, there was music/yelling all night so no one was able to sleep. Tried looking elsewhere but due to soccer tournaments all over town, nothing was available.

The check in chicken process was quick and easy. Found our room very comfortable and nicely furnished. The bed was a bit hard for my taste but I slept OK. The grab and go breakfast was minimal, but we were meeting friends for breakfast somewhere else. The checkout process was quick and painless. All of the employees we dealt with were very friendly and professional.

The room was clean however the tub and shower area could definitely use renovation. It was outdated and worn. The faucet handle in the bathroom was somewhat loose and it took a while for the water to get hot. The staff was friendly and there are a lot of restaurants nearby but not in walking distance.

The A/C unit didn’t work the staff installed two different units then transferred us to another room. Room was bigger but had king size bed instead of two queens. Reason for stay son doing chemo treatments so really wanted separate beds and no carpet floors.

I had 2 rooms reserved and when I arrived I was told that only 1 room was ready. the clerk explained the second room had been damaged and they were cleaning another for me. 45 minutes later I finally got the room.

We had issues with our room keys and Yumeka was very helpful and got it fixed quickly so we could get back to relaxing. Thank you for your help and see you next time.

Chris at the front desk was so helpful. She was very understanding since my daughter and son in law had to get the hotel because their son is in the NICU. She was extremely nice and helpful!

The check in chicken process was quick and easy. Found our room very comfortable and nicely furnished. The bed was a bit hard for my taste but I slept OK. The grab and go breakfast was minimal, but we were meeting friends for breakfast somewhere else. The checkout process was quick and painless. All of the employees we dealt with were very friendly and professional.

Check in was okay however when I went back for an extra key Chris was on her phone and after 5 mins I finally spoke up and asked for some help. She seemed bothered, threw her phone down, and asked what my name was. When I got to the room, the room was not clean and smelled like cigarettes. The shower did not work properly nor did the TV (no signal). To make it even better, there was music/yelling all night so no one was able to sleep. Tried looking elsewhere but due to soccer tournaments all over town, nothing was available.

Close to our family across the major street into a residential area. Well lit and traffic signals and sidewalks made walking to visit relatives very easy and convenient. We were disappointed in the amenities--eg, coffee maker but no filters. No dish soap or handtowels so we couldn't make use of the kitchen facilities. Pillows were lousy but bed was comfortable.

Kaylee and Grant at the front desk were outstanding! They delivered excellent customer service. The hotel is in a very nice area, good for walking, close to the highway and all kinds of shopping. Now the hotel... the website is a lie. The room was only surface clean, needed a deep clean everywhere. The floors were done with what must have been a sticky squeaky disinfectant spray. Tub floor was gray. Kitchen had nothing but 1 dish towel, nothing else. The TV was old and small. the air conditioner worked but was very loud. No breakfast really. No meeting room really. Common areas such as: laundry room, elevator, muffin/coffee room was dirty. No decafe for the evening. Fridge was full size and worked. The place was outdated and sad. Its a fairly clean outdated hotel that needs upgrades. It's rather outdated. Needs better lighting. Dim lighted hallways. Very dark and gloomly. Needs to be given a fresher look. Needs paint, new carpet, bathrooms, kitchen, televisions. My room was comfortable, but had a strange odor. Television needed new remote, had 2 lamps that didnt work, bathroom sink didn't have a stopper. Staff was nice and efficient. It was in a great location. I will probably find another place to stay next time unless they gut the place and start over new. It needs some serious attention if they want customers to have an "extended stay".

This is a hotel with a great location. The staff is great and friendly. I-435 is around the corner and you can pretty much get anywhere in KC in less than 30 minutes. Oak Park Mall is less than 10 minutes driving. Legends Mall is 15-20 minutes driving. The breakfast lounge is tiny and would be better if it offered more options for breakfast. The room has a small kitchen and sink with an average size fridge where you can put your food if you plan on preparing your own meals. There is plenty of places to visit....such as KC Chiefs, Royals, Sporting KC, Hockey, etc. We reserved this hotel for my daughter's soccer tournament at Scheels Soccer Complex. The price for the hotel is very affordable and convenient.

It wasn’t the best and wasn’t the worst. I definitely thought it would be better knowing that it was Overland Park but it wasn’t. Room was just ok cleaned, toiletries were sparse, breakfast was literally coffee and muffins, granola, and granola bars.

The front desk person was very professional and nice. The grass around the property had lots of poo, people didn’t pick up after their dogs. There was no specific area for dogs but yet it said dogs were welcome? No bathroom on check in floor. No place to sit.

It is what you pay for. However, we requested on Thursday that we needed to stay until Monday. He told us to just come down Saturday and add more days. However when we did that we were told our room was already taken and had to move to another room which was not a double, it was one king and we had to pay the additional. Poor customer service we tried to reserve and pay early and then what we were told was not honored. Most likely will not stay here again because of this.
