Elevator was under repair. We got the last first floor room. We travel with a service dog and it was a smelly dog room that hadn’t been properly cleaned. Other dogs pay $75 extra for cleaning. Room needed updating. Carpet needs to be removed for dogs.

Hotel is being Renovated! 3rd Floor, where we slept, was great. A/C cranked. Quiet. Hardly anyone there. The entire parking lot and the ones next to it all seem to be in a state of disarry as contruction is all around this place. But we had a quiet and good night sleep. Breakfast (I think there were 10 people at the hotel) was good for the "free breakfasts" you get at hotels like this.

I was disappointed that i had to pay extra to have my pet stay. This wasnt made clear when i made reservations on hotels.com. Also the elevater was not functioning so this made it very difficult to get all my luggage, etc to/from the 3rd floor.

All good except for the $75 pet fee which is double of most every place else. No coffee available at breakfast (pot was broken) and on a cold morning that’s a sin. Otherwise, good front office staff at checkin and checkout. Noisy from the highway too.

The staff was awesome. The hotel was renovating so there were barriers to some things, but even with that it was a great stay. The hotel was clean, I felt safe, there was a lot of green space for our pups, and the hotel really made a good effort to take care of their guests as best they could. I would definitely stay here again!

Parking was good, the service desk staff was very cordial and helpful, the facility was clean. The only reason why I gave the property condition and facilities a “good” rating instead of “excellent” was because of the upgrade work being done on the construction of the existing building. This should be no fault of the hotel reputation - they are upgrading which is good

This property is significantly outdated. Bathtub is cracked and dirty. Old smelly curtains. Not up to par with the typical Holiday Inn Express and was $175/night. Would not stay here again.

The hallways and elevator were not cleaned, and carpet were soiled. Furniture was old and hotel was smelly. Upon entering the room, the Tv did not work. A/c did not get cool properly. Itchy once got in bed. Breakfast was not good. One person was handling the front desk and the food. I would not recommend this hotel. I never stayed in a Hampton Inn on this lever. It was over priced for this hotel. A full refund should be granted.

We were sent to a dirty room, then sent to a new one that wasnt cleaned properly. Walls were cracked and falling apart, looked like mold and deteriated sheet rock down by floor, electrical covers held on by wire plugged into it. Mini-fridge didnt work.

Disgusting experience. Rooms were humid, would not cool down. AC didn’t work. Dirty, stinky facility. Dead bugs on floor. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Phone in the room didn’t work. 0/10. Would not go back. They tried to blame it on storm damage, but if it’s that bad, close the place down for renovations. Don’t keep letting people stay there and charging them money.

Room frig did not work and it was not replaced when desk clerk said it would be. Other reviewers also commented on similar problems about room frig. Additionally the frig seemed a bit too large for the cabinet it was in as the cab door could not close completely. Humidity level in the room was high especially in bathroom—very damp. No light bulb in desk lamp and it was very rusty as were the overhead sprinkler nozzles.

An outdoor parking lot light was shinning directly into the room and into the face of anyone in the bed. The DRAPS COULD NOT BE CLOSED. THIS CONDITION WAS NOT EVIDENT UNTIL AFTER DARK. Pillows were lumpy.

The front desk and breakfast personnel were nice. The room AC didn’t work properly, set on 65, never got above 75. The carpet was dirty, the room musty smelling, as was the hallway. The ice machine on our floor was broken. Oh, and the powdered scrabbled eggs were bad.

Ms. Kimberly welcomed this travel-wearied couple with warmth and enthusiasm. We immediately felt at ease and grateful for the easy check-in after a long drive. The room was clean but there was notable damage in the room - patches on the wall, broken shelves and a peeling ceiling. Moreover, the bed wasn’t what we’re accustomed to from previous Hampton Inn stays. It’s obvious this hotel needs a little TLC to be the haven Hampton Inn is known for.

So disappointed in this property.. start off our rooms were given to another family with the same name who was not fully checked in properly they basically just gave them The keys and let them go straight to out rooms. Second my sister and I had queen beds side by side and they were both filthy blood stains urine stains on sheets and comforter. The night receptionist was supposed to come and bring new sheets never did until we went downstairs and asked again. It was a hot mess didn't get to sleep until 3:00 a.m. Hampton inn definitely owes me a free room at one of these better properties!!

We stayed for 6 nights and had a really great experience. What made it that way was the staff — in particular, the front desk clerks Sam, Kim and Steph and the breakfast room manager Shalonda. The hotel as fine, but these staff members made it a great time for us. We’ll go back because of them.

In addition to the room is a bit run-down, there is some construction right next to the hotel which made the environment a bit unsafe especially when only a few cars parked in the lot.

Location was easy access from the highway which made it easy to minimize extra drive time for the long 2-day road trip. Room was very clean and conveniently located to an entrance which made it super easy since we had a dog with us. We will definitely stay again!

poor hot water circulation, place had badly discolored carpet. used soap in our tub, door squeaked, coffee was not keep fresh in lobby. Hampton Inn has always been our preferred, but certainly not the one in Scott. I cancelled our return trip stay at this hotel. It needs a lot of help

Overall, this Hampton seemed to be in poorer condition than others. Needs some remodeling. At breakfast, they did not have any forks available. They said they had ordered them, but the delivery never came. It made eating some dishes more challenging. Maybe they could just go buy a big pack at Walmart?
