Ms.Joanne at the Service Desk was warm,friendly, went above and beyond to provide all we needed..provided receipts upon checking in and out..has washer/ dryer unit for guests to use...DISLIKED...limited breakfast items...no meats, water or assorted fruit options..only apples...no scrambled eggs

External doors don’t close tight.

The room was nice and clean. King Suite was adequate. Nowhere close to the bed to charge my phone though. The area was a bit shady, & the side door could be opened without a keycard... nothing happened when the alarm went off when someone did that. Okay for a quick night stay.

I found the property easily accessible and there was ample convenient parking

Building is older and appears that they are trying to make repairs and update. Would stay again.

Our bed was comfortable. Shower too short but strong water pressure. Tv worked well and room was just ok. My complaint is the litter up and down hallways. The stairwell has cigarette butts and we were there a week and doesnt look like anyone picks up trash around the outside or inside. Doesnt feel like a safe area. Being that its a Wyndum hotel I thought it would be decent. It is very run down and unkept. The staff were very nice...no complaints there. But maintenence is sad. We were in Lafayette for a reunion. I will not stay again.

Good security

The hotel was nice and clean, vendimg machines on each floor but they all had ran out of water, so offering bottle water in the rooms would be a nice plus

The hotel is worn down, extremely dirty rooms (we found pubes on our bathroom wall, mold, months worth of dust, if you want I can show you pictures). The staff, apart from the maintenance guy, we're unfriendly and not willing to help. When we asked for an extra blanket we were told they don't provide these. We stayed for four days and we didn't get clean towels nor were the beds made. I did pay for all this. Never again!!! There's more options in the area, choose those!!

It was very pleasant and clean

It wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve stayed at. The room smelled of old urine and the entire hotel needs to be painted to say the least. We inspected the room and beds and thought everything was fine until something crawled across the sheet….a bedbug. We packed up so fast!! The guy at the desk didn’t even seemed concerned. He looked at the pic and refunded our money without any issues so he either knew they had bedbugs or he didn’t want us to cause a scene.

It had roaches and a smell

I didn’t like anything about the Hotel. The first room had blood on the sheets. We moved to the ground floor.The window was unlocked. I didn’t have parking as I drove behind the building people were smoking drugs behind the building…someone was by the tree using drugs… another person was on the ground feeding cats I mean a lot of cats. The room smelled the cot looked like someone used it to change oil. It was horrible the towels were dirty. Hair was on the counter hair was in the tub. The floor had all kinds of food wasted. Experience was horrible I put the chair behind the door. My daughter wanted to sleep in the car.

The linen has evidence of previous bed bugs. Just get new linen

Place does not seem sanitary.

we had great service from the staff during our stay. The room was clean and cozy. Generally, we really liked this hotel and will stay there again.

The room was clean, but the floor was sticky. The building is clearly old and the carpets are stained. The room itself was nice and had comfy beds, but pretty much every hallway smelled of marijuana.

Hotel was very clean and staff was wonderful. My only suggestion would be better pillows on the bed. Ours were a little hard. Other than that everything was perfect. Definitely a good stay.

They need to fix the shower head. The place was quiet, and needs a little updating but very nice service. Breakfast was cereal, toast, fruit and waffles. Waffles and coffee were good. I would stay again. It was great for the price.

Beds super comfy. Pillows very soft. Check in was easy and quick. Room was adequate. Bathroom floor tiles were loose and moved when stepped on. Tub had a dirt stain that was permanent. Bathroom door was difficult to close. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Ceiling thin - heard upstairs all night. Had to call the front desk both nights we were there.

Impressed how clean this property was for a budget friendly rates. I had room 201, which faced the road and you could hear traffic 24/7. I would request a room on the other end of the hotel.

bed was clean and comfortable. towels were clean and fresh. had soap and shampoo. Furniture was very worn. I could not figure out how to use the tv remote. building was very worn. I only needed to rest for 6 hours before driving again so it worked out just fine for me. Price was great

I would say my overall stay at this hotel was a 4/10. The cigarette smell throughout the whole building is so strong. Tv in our room did not work at all. The ac in our room apparently didn’t blow cool air because we woke up sweating.

This hotel was much more than I expected: a big room, a super comfortable bed, a big bath tub, and a kitchenette. The receptionist was friendly and kind. He understood my need for quietness and put me in the room in the back of the building, away from the road. I was able to sleep well without being bothered by noise or light from the outside. I will definitely return for my future stays in Lafayette.

Top mattress of bed was split into two pieces so that I would slide and roll into the middle. Bed was also lumpy. Neighbors above an next to me were very loud until about 3am for 2 of my 3 night stay. Not very pleasant at all.

Only one USB charging port in the room and it didn't work. It was located on a lamp on the desk and not next to the bed, so inconvenient placement. The desk clerk was nice however and found a wall charger that did the job. Bed was too soft for my liking. The air did work, but it took a while to cool off the room. The bathroom seemed the cleanest part of the room, so that was good, because there were smudges on the walls and it really needs new carpet and some paint. "Breakfast" was not sufficient. Would it kill you to offer some proteins? Eggs at least. Not even any peanut butter for the toast. The only thig available was waffles, cereal, toast, grits and oatmeal. All carbs. I think I might have seen some apples. I heard someone say the juice was not good, so I skipped that option. Not a bad area, but there was the faint smell of pot the whole time I was there, so that may not have been it. OK for the money, but the place needs updating.

My room faced the street and was very noisy.

This is a Green hotel so they only change the towels once every three days unless you go to the front desk. We stayed four days and nights with no housekeeping services offered. We finally had to place the trash out in the hallway and made up our own beds. The so called full breakfast consisted of a gallon of milk for the guests to share, instant grits and oatmeal, cereal and waffles. There were no napkins and no hand sanitizer. The coffee was great!!! The only protein provided was fed to the cats outside. On our last night the toilet began overflowing. We called the front desk and was told to come and get a plunger. When we stated that they needed to fix this we were told they were not allowed into the guest rooms. So, we had to endure a wet floor with our two grandkids until we left. We were not offered another room nor a discount for the inconvenience. Also, each day when we returned to the hotel, we had to get our keys redone because they erase the keys daily. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation for the family but it ended with unnecessary drama and stress. I hope and pray no one else will have to endure these issues.

Needs improvement. Queen bed was not a queen size. More like a full. Went down to the desk and the clerk was so so rude. Said he was going to come up to the room with a tape measure to see. He never showed. Checking in was a nightmare. We’ve stayed at this hotel and gave business to it. But never have I been so upset with the the man at the desk.

When I arrived, the front desk staff was not welcoming. The staff member barely spoke as I checked in. My room was hot when I first entered it and appeared dated. The furniture was scuffed and scratched; the drapes were stained.

Shower did not produce high enough water pressure, had to switch rooms. staff manning the front desk was actively napping when I had my phone stolen at property and then proceeded to not care or offer assistance.

I cant speak for other rooms but I was incredibly surprised by the quality of our room(especially for what we payed). The room was clean, air was working, bathroom was clean, Obi at the front desk was incredible, the check-in/check-out process as seamless, and they asked if we preferred 1st or 2nd floor which was nice. Yes breakfast was lacking but they still had waffles and muffins and cereal. My only complaint would be the house keeping. When we left for the day on Saturday, we put our Do not Disturb sign on the door because we did not want anyone in our room due to having valuables in there, but house keepers came in anyway and cleaned. They are also loud when cleaning. Very satisfied with the stay but was not happy about that incident.

The staff were very helpful & polite! Obi was exceptional! The lady at the front desk was kind & congenial. The stay was great, as was the breakfast! We will definitely recommend! Thank you!

Your establishment sucks! Full breakfast was a lie. The maids are lazy …..didn’t clean nor empty trash. Towels supply insufficient. Toilet overflowed and we had to use towels that wasn’t replaced. We were offered a plunger to rectify the situation. Really?!? That’s wasn’t for us to do! And we weren’t even offered to switch rooms. So we were left to use the toilet and NOT FLUSH REGARDLESS WHAT BODILY FUNCTIONS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED! Were we given one night’s refund? Nope! Believe me when I say this isn’t over! Have a nice day! 😘

Staff is always great! They had an issue with my AC and fixed it immediately. New room was cold, completely clean, comfortable, and had a fridge and microwave. Not the safest area at night but very convenient right off the interstate. Will definitely stay here again.

The property was located in an industrial area

Close to a few restaurants, close to gas stations, room and amenities was clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Area was quiet.

The hotel was clean the room was decent but it attracted a very rough looking crowd people ordering around in the parking lot a drunk man walked up opened our car door tried to get in breakfast wasn't great so beware

I was traveling thru on my way back to TX & stayed for 1 night. The room was ok for a night & was worth the price paid. The check in was friendly and fast. The desk clerk offered some recommendations on where to go for dinner. The room was pretty clean, but there was an odd spot on the curtain that may have been mold. The room smelled fresh though. AC worked well & was quiet. Breakfast was the usual fare- cereals, toast/muffins & a waffle maker. No coffee maker in the room, but it was available down in the lobby & the breakfast room. The area was more industrial than expected - not alot of restaurants or shopping nearby. There was an evicted/homeless couple hanging around out front, but they were eventually encouraged to leave the premises. There was alot of highway construction on I-10 that caused a lengthy and convulated detour to get to the hotel. As a result, I had to drive thru some areas of the city that I probably would not go thru after dark. The mattress was too firm for my liking. I'm a side sleeper and tossed & turned most of the night. Left earlier the next morning as a result. It was OK for a night, anything longer- I'd probably go over to Breaux Bridge.

The staff was friendly and the check in and check out process is easy. The price was good, we used Expedia. We reserved a suite with kitchenette, foldout couch, and king bed. The room was nice and clean so overall was great! Our only complaint would be that our room TV was scratched and there was a constant wind sound, that we heard even when the AC turned off. The breakfast buffet was not great, so if it's not what your into lots of other places to get food. They had on the buffet cereal, bags of DIY oatmeal, 2 waffle stations, a juice machine, 2 community coffee carafes with Breakfast Coffee and also 1 with hot water. When we went at 8:00 am the coffee was empty and the trash was full. It lacked any presentation and after I realized the coffee was out we opted to purchase breakfast instead. They should think about offering eggs, boiled eggs, some protein options. There was bread, but no bagels, 2 apples on a tray, No other fruits available. No yogurts. Just a lot of carbs.

The check-in guy was very uninterested, he didn't really talk, I had to ask him what time breakfast was and where, the room was spacious, clean but didn't offer anything, not even tea or coffee. The breakfast was very basic, just juice, milk, coffee, waffles ,bread, butter, jam. At 9:30 the cleaning guy knocked on the door to ask if we check out that that.(it’s not very good)The price was ok and close to I10 highway.

Hotel had a stale smell, the original room had a broken lock so we requested to move rooms. Breakfast was pretty much not existent. They had 2 dispensers full of cereal, some bread and a waffle maker.

Very limited in the breakfast choices. The staff was very friendly. Parking could have been a little more safer. But close to the interstate easy access.

Easy check in, room was clean and spacious . Great value for the price . They had hot breakfast which was a pleasant surprise .

Location great.staff friendly. Beds and room is great. Breakfast needs improvement. Waffle House next door much better.

Check in was easy, however they lied about their continental breakfast which was only toast and waffles. If you are staying with kids pick another hotel. Not to mention we saw 2 brown recluse!

The whole place smelled like antiseptic and the lighting felt cold and sterile. Lots of dings and dents throughout. My real gripe was that breakfast service ended at 9 a.m. with no signs announcing it was so early. I came down at 9:03 and the manager already had the lights off and chairs put away. Absolutely ridiculous.

Nice for what you pay for but definitely a little sketchy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in every room around you, complimentary breakfast is just some waffles and fruit. Nothing to write home about, pretty average. 7/10 experience

Good enough place to stay overnight. Room was pretty clean, breakfast was fine to start the day (cereal, waffles, juice and coffee)
