The room was great. The center staircase was fine, but the staircases on the side seem a little wobbly. It's just a little off the main road which was nice for keeping traffic noise down.

This inexpensive rental option is right off route 1 in Scarborough. The rooms are huge and offer plenty of space for you and your family. Everything was clean, orderly and comfortable in the room. Outside, the lawn is well maintained and the grounds are free from trash. Despite being off route 1 its quiet throughout the night so you can get a good nights rest. My only complaints are that the breakfast is just fruit and cereal, and the picnic tables outside are falling apart. If you sit at these tables, be careful not to lean or you may pinch your skin in the cracked and broken table top.

Convenient for getting around the town. Parking was good. Older furniture, but clean. My TV quit working and was replaced promptly the next day. Windows with screens could be opened for fresh air, there was outdoor seating on first floor, but not on second. There was no elevator, so hard for me to get luggage up to the second floor. Had to go to office to get coffee- none in room. This was very inconvenient for me in the morning.

This motel was perfect. Large room, very clean, refrigerator microwave. Quiet. Very convenient for me visiting local family. No extras like pool or fitness room - but I didn't need that. I will stay here again.

The rooms were spacious with 2 comfy chairs with ottoman’s. Clean rooms but thin walls and could hear guests next door. Had to carry luggage upstairs. No elevator. Breakfast was bare minimum in a very small office. 4 seats for eating. No coffee maker in room.

Quiet town, parking just outside the door, rooms were clean, comfortable and the water pressure was excellent! Lots of tv channel options for the kids. Fridge and microwave in the room. No elevator for rooms on the second floor but we didn’t have much luggage so that wasn’t an issue for us.

We stayed two night- one day. Hotel was modest and clean. Lots of parking area. Hotel is located outside of Portland in a quiet area. It’s a bit dated but has been freshened up. Nice long counter in the bathroom. Minimal breakfast.

The room was dirty and had an odor. The bedspread had large stains. The minute my friend entered the room she began to cough. Strong odor. Rugs were dirty. Office had crumbs from breakfast on the counter. We did not stay on this property. We are waiting to settle with them to get our money back.

Stayed 2 nights. Very clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. It's a very basic no frills motel. Does have a microwave and fridge in room but no coffee maker and no hot cups to use for the microwave. Only plastic cups for water. We stay there a lot so now I bring cups from home for the microwave. They have cereal for breakfast but it's very basic. They provide coffee in the lobby but if you come in late you can't get in as it's in a separate building from the rooms. Overall it's a great place for the price. Will stay there again.

Stayed at this location a year ago and thought we'd give it another try. It feels more run-down than previously. The room smelled of cleaning products and mildew. There was mold on the wall above the shower, and the window blind was broken. The room drapes and shades smelled of cigarette smoke. Overall feeling of uncleanliness and being run-down. Not worth the over $300 per night price during the peak summer season. You can spend a little bit more in the area and get a lot better. Will not stay again.

It was clean and comfortable. Recently remodeled with all new bathrooms and bedroom fixtures and furniture. Water pressure was amazing. I don't think it should be listed as breakfast included, but had a nice stay and will book it again next year.

Basically clean motel, the blinds in the bathroom needed to be cleaned. however I would have dump them in the garbage. They were filthy. The room it’s was ok. Wish I would it taken a pic of them.

Overall it was a good value. The bathroom is unusually large for a hotel. The TV selections include multiple HBO anbd Cinemax channels. But there are no tissues or coffee in the room. But there is coffee in their (small) office. The exterior has a few bench-swings but nothing else. The road the motel faces is pretty noisy.

Room was a good size and immaculate, beds comfortable, large bathroom, reception very pleasant. Unfortunately because we registered only a couple of days ahead, there were no more rooms downstairs and carrying luggage upstairs with mobility issues was difficult. ( our issue and certainly not there’s…….an offer to help was very thoughtful) Delightful stay!

Can’t say enough good things! The bed and pillows were so comfy, I asked the owners what they were because I want to buy them! The motel was SPOTLESS. Microwave, fridge, huge bathroom. All renovated. Property was spotless. Owners were so warm and inviting. Check in check out was a breeze. I’ll stay here every time.

Check-in was easy. Room was very clean. Great water pressure for shower. Large flat screen with a ton of channels. Everything worked as it should. The reason for my average rating: The mattress was not comfortable and I could hear every step from the upstairs guests, like there was zero insulation. And unfortunately, they were up late. Between those two things, I didn't get a great nights sleep.

Agent/owner was pleasant at check in but upon entering the room I was overcome with food smell, likely curry. Had a hard time falling asleep. The next morning, prior to leaving, the same agent/owner entered my room without any knock. Just minutes before I was naked on the bed. Absolutely unacceptable. No remedy was offered by the property other than an apology. Unless you’re in a real pinch I would avoid this place and just pay the extra $15-20 to stay somewhere more reputable.

Our host Jack was so incredibly friendly and kind. He communicated clearly all we needed to know and extended the offer of availability should we have any questions or concerns. The simple room itself was spacious, clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. My favorite was having plenty of hot water from a shower head that projected plenty of water . Sooo nice and relaxing. The grounds were well maintained and attractive. And the continental breakfast, though simple, had fresh fruit, breads, cereal, juices and good tasting coffee. I would definitely return next time I’m in this area.

An absolute find. Great property. Excellent room, clean and comfortable. The manager (owner?) changed my room to the first floor and fixed the tv wire almost before I hung up the phone. Highly recommend it.

We drove from out of state and arrived around 8pm. The check-in process was quick and easy and the staff at the front desk was helpful with recommendations for restaurants in the area when we asked. We had no issues at all and would stay again!

the room was well appointed and clean. Free breakfast was misleading and a joke. no hot foods, no bread, bagels, donuts etc. All they had was some ,3 large tubes with cereal, milk, no decafe coffee. Only 2 seats in tiny office to sit. Otherwise sit outside at a couple tables or in your room. Management wasn't in office often to ask questions or make a complaint. They were also doing housecleaning. Saying free breakfast is very misleading. They should refund some money to each guest!!!

The rooms were super clean, the only thing that they should improve is to not promote they offer free breakfast included because they don't offer a breakfast. They have maybe a snack to take in the little office, to go.

Very good value for a clean, convenient place to stay. Family owned. There are good and affordable places to eat within a short walk and of course lots of natural beauty in the area to explore. Breakfast was just okay, with little public space in which to eat it. I did not like their coffee and their OJ was orange punch with high fructose corn syrup, not real OJ. They should add a hook by the tub/shower so you can have your towel nearby after a shower.
