This hotel was adequate but not great based on our past experience with The Comfort Inn chain. Guest room carpet was sticky like it needed deep cleaned, bathroom floor had dirt in the corners and the overall state of the place was in mild disrepair. Again, not typical of our history with Comfort Inn but about a third of the price of the equally unimpressive beach hotels ten minutes away... So it was the best value we could find. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I would not stay at this hotel again. I specifically selected this property because it stated that pets were not allowed and only service animals were permitted, which was important because of pet allergies. During our stay, I personally saw five dogs, including one guest with two dogs, and one night a dog was barking outside our room. When I asked the front desk, I was told pets ARE allowed for a fee and service animals stay free—completely different from the information provided when I booked. The condition of our room was also concerning. Our towels were damp upon arrival and had to be replaced. The room felt extremely humid despite the AC running. There were multiple areas of significant ceiling staining/discoloration, including a large area near the bed. The HVAC unit had substantial dirt and debris inside along with dark spotting/discoloration. The shower also had visible dark spotting and buildup. Some linens were stained, and the bathroom floor and other surfaces felt sticky. There were cleanliness issues in the breakfast area as well, including tables not being cleaned between guests and used towels left on the floor after cleaning spills. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this property, especially to travelers with pet allergies or concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.

The bed and pillows were comfortable. The outside area was nice. The TV remote would not work, a second one provided still didn't work properly. The pool looked dirty, so we chose not to use it. The trash was emptied on our third day there, bags were not replaced in the cans. They took our dirty towels and did not replace them. Cold breakfast items were fine, hot items were disgusting. Elevator was dirty. The hallway to our room smelled very musty. We will not be staying there again unfortunately, despite it being a great location.

We had an awful stay this time around. The manger was rude and not helpful. We tried switching our reservation from standard king to a suite which he had rooms available and I offered to pay the difference and he absolutely refused to help us even though there were still rooms available on hotels.com he said I would have had to cancel my reservation by Friday. Also when we entered the room there was blood on the pillow case. We metioned something and he switched the pillow case but refused to give us a new pillow. The bathroom the toilet seat was broken and it took 3 guys to fix and it was still broken. The shower flooded after each shower we took. The shower liner didn't fit across the whole tube. We got yelled at for leaving our dirty trash and linen outside the room in trash bags. The front desk gave us trash bags and told us to leave everything outside the room. The manger wasn't happy with it being outside the room. The breakfast was disappointing. The sausage links and eggs were gross. Looks like it been cooked for days and just reheated. The waffle machine had no mix and refused to refill it. We asked for milk for our daughter after driving up and down route 1 and no gas stations or Walmart had the milk we needed and he absolutely refused to give us 4oz for her bottle. He said we had to wait for breakfast if we needed milk. He said it wasn't his responsibility to feed our daughter which I understand. But we couldn't find any milk.
