Room and property was clean, but a little dated. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were very disappointed that the pool was not heated, it was too cold for us to swim. We really liked that there was a restaurant/bar across the parking lot

The hotel was very clean, well kept. I wish their was extra pillows/blankets provided in the rooms. The pool was extremely cold, but very clean. Overall our stay was very nice, the only downfall was the chilly pool.

Good hotel for business accommodations. Working in area and always use this motel. Has free Tesla chargers. Good for me.

Disappointed no hot tub. No continental breakfast either. At least there was coffee.

I stayed here for one night and enjoyed it! The exterior of the building is beautiful and while the rooms are a bit dated, they were spotless and everything was in working order. The front desk staff was very polite. I didn’t use the pool so I can’t vouch for that. My room was a ways away from the pool and it was fairly quiet, the walls are a bit thin so you can occasionally hear conversations from neighboring rooms but it wasn’t bad at all. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because there is no elevator to the second floor. I must not have read far enough in reviews to figure that out, so I ended up lugging my suitcase up and down the stairs. I think you can ask for a room on the first floor so it’s not the end of the world, but I just wasn’t expecting a multi-level hotel to not have an elevator for people and luggage. Overall though it was a good stay for the price and I would stay here again (albeit on the first floor)! I also felt relatively safe traveling by myself.

Clean and affordable. Be aware that the hot tub is gone and so is breakfast. I understand cost cutting measures to keep it affordable, but knowing ahead of time would’ve been nice. Still a great place to stay! Always clean.

I liked that they have an arcade room, though it is expensive, and needs new/different games... The last two summers we came here and the games just keep getting worse and having issues... Also, we only came here again because they had a hot tub last time - but did not make any announcement or anything stating that it was removed. We were very disappointed because it was so nice, but then it was gone this time - they removed it... And they advertise that their indoor swimming pool is "heated" yet it was so cold we could not swim in it - each time we stayed here... So we were not happy at all, especially since it was the deciding factor for us.

I thought there was still a hot tub in theq pool area. Disappointed to find there is not.

Lovely, clean property. Really great pool area, with a small arcade room nearby. Enjoyed our stay, and will bring our son next time.

There was a large pool, perfect if you have children.

Check in was easy and polite. The main lobby was very clean and organized. The room was very clean, well organized, and stocked with exactly what I needed. There was a microwave, fridge, TV with HBO and many other channels. The bathroom looked nice, was clean, and was stocked with plenty of clean towels, tissues, soap, etc. This was a simple, comfortable, clean, efficient place to stay. The only negative was that when you're in your room, you can hear people in neighboring rooms or walking down the hall. It was not noisy, but you can hear others.

I arrived at the hotel on Monday afternoon. I told them that the room was dirty and the floor was covered in coffee. They told me that they would clean the room on Tuesday. When I arrived on Tuesday night, the floor was just as dirty. When I arrived on Wednesday, the room was just as dirty and had a small cockroach in it. The hotel has been remodeled. The rooms are nice, but the CLEANING IS TERRIBLE. They never take out the trash or change the towels.

The guy at the front desk when I checked in was rude. I got to my room. The sheet was dirty. The fridge was dirty. I asked if they can come clean it and give me a new sheet and told me no so I just ripped the sheet off the bed and Used my blanket to land. There was a guy at 3:30 in the morning. I got hit with a gun and ran over in critical condition. Just wasn’t a very good stay

The room was pretty clean. The bathroom wasn’t quite clean. But overall the desk staff was very nice.

Slamming door outside our room for hours during 1-3am. Moldy ceiling/tub. Seemed old and run down. Get what you pay for but we would not stay again Id rather pay more and get a clean comfy room. I didnt feel worried about safety so that was a plus but

Absolutely 10/10 value for money. All newly renovated and refurbished. We had a queen room that overlooked the pool area, which is fantastic. This is perfect accommodation for families. Bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom was new. Would definitely stay again.

My room was clean, comfortable and very close to Rivertown shopping/restaurants. HD TV, several channels and strong Wifi. TV is not Smart, so no streaming without your laptop and HDMI cable. Amazing value for your dollar and I would stay again!

Air conditioning unit was loud. Kids yelling in pool all day and night. Vending machines didn’t work. Took 25 min to check in.

Ok location but needs a lot of updates. Bedding torn, holes in walls, rusted baseboards for heat.

Ok for one night, walls are paper thin. You can hear even a quiet conversation in the rooms next to you.

It caught me by surprise that breakfast wasn't offered as I overlooked that fact in the amenities. It wasn't a problem, though, since we had access to our own good food and the motel nightly price was acceptable. Bedding was comfortable. Direct TV viewing very pixilated. Other stations good.

Did not like the paper thin walls of this hotel. You could hear people in the next room talking on the phone. Could not sleep well because of the noise.

I enjoyed my stay here and had no problems. My room was very clean and nice. The bed, pillows, TV and shower were nice. I would stay here again. My only "problem" was it was hard to find anyone at the front desk.

The staff here was so awesome! We came in early from a very long travel day and were hungry. They allowed us to store our bags in rooms that were ready and worked quickly to clean the rooms that still needed servicing. Such nice people

All the above But when I called for confirmation of late arrival...he was very accommodating but tricked me when I said I didn't need a double full x 2 bed. I just needed one bed for me. He switched me to a king and charged me $20... I arrived and had to pay more NOT WHAT I SIGNED up for

Summary due to character limit: 1) The person who checked us in didn't know how to check in an Expedia customer, so it took a long time. 2) The pool opens at 10 am when the checkout time is 11 am. 3) To use the pool and to receive a pool towel, you have to sign up at the desk. 4) The pool was down for maintenance when we stayed there, but there was no sign at the desk, just the sign-in sheet and list of rules. 5) The breakfast is a continental breakfast, so we knew not to expect a hot breakfast, but it was incredibly skimpy. There was an almost empty container of milk for the cereal in the refrigerator, and there was no attendant in sight. There were three kinds of cereal. There were a few containers of artificially sweetened yogurt. There was some bread and pastries, but the pastries were pre-packaged generic brand and didn't look very fresh, 6) There was a puddle of water in the hallway, which is a slipping hazard. I told the desk person, but she didn't seem very concerned. 7) When we checked out at a little after 10:30, there was no one at the desk. We rang the bell several times and no one came. Apparently they have one employee who is supposed to man the checkout counter and also check the rooms and supervise the maids. There should be at least 2 employees doing this, especially right before checkout time. 8) It seems like they are doing the bare minimum to be able to advertise having a breakfast and a pool. I do not recommend this hotel.

Staff very considerate and friendly

Had reservations, obviously traveling, yet the front desk said no public restrooms and made me wait until I checked in, I almost did something I haven’t done since I was 5. Obviously family owned and all are terribly rude, made me feel like I was an alien. Do not stay here!

Everything was great except for check-in process. We booked two rooms for a rate, but the second room didn't make it to the actual hotel and they showed we only had two rooms. I showed our paperwork and it took time, but it finally got resolved. Annoying about that part, everything else fantastic.

This is a great hotel. Very close to the highway but quiet. Super convenient for travel to Grand Rapids or Allendale.

It was a little off the beaten path to find, but located close to Rivertown Crossings Mall and a lot of dining options. From this location we were within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to do in the area.

Nice place. Easy to get to and a good price.

For a over night stay I would say it's a nice place and it's affordable. It's close to the John Ball Zoo and close to the botanical gardens.

Room was clean and quiet. The heating system is older and hard to control. Good service. Continental breakfast.

Disappointed to get there and find out there is no breakfast. It's been removed, completely, although there is coffee available beside the pool in the morning. The dining chairs and tables around the indoor pool were removed. It used to be nice to sit there and drink coffee and relax. It's super quiet. It's clean. Remember to sign the book at the front desk if you want to reserve a time to use their indoor pool.

Overall, our stay was nice. The hotel was quiet and clean. It would be nice if they had some chairs outside of the pool area for people to sit in to enjoy their coffee. The only sitting area available is in the front lobby. Also, it was advertised that they had a continental breakfast available, but we learned that they stopped the continental breakfast eight months ago. All in all our stay was nice and I would stay there again.

The breakfast offers toast, bagels, cream cheese, slices of processed orange cheese, one flavour of yogurt, bananas, milk, and brewed coffee. The area is safe and low key. It was quiet in the hotel. Rules are strict to prevent parties. No non-paying guests can visit your room or use the pool. There is a steak restaurant with a nice outdoor patio located across the parking lot. Our room window was missing a screen, so we couldn't leave the window open for long. Overall the hotel seemed very clean. The bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner. The price was better than some other hotels, so I would stay there again.

The motel was clean and comfortable and in a good location close to the highway. I liked that this was a smaller property and not a huge complex. There was a pool and a breakfast area. They provided a no frills light breakfast which included juice, coffee, cereal, fruit, some muffins and yogurt. It was nothing fancy but at least it was something. The bed was pretty comfortable but there was nothing special about the room. We only stayed for one night and it was all that we needed for a short stay. The price was right, too. I don’t have any complaints.

The young lady that check us in was wonderful! Very sweet! I did wish there was more of a breakfast though. Also there was instant oatmeal but not hot water offered. There was one pump pot with coffee but nothing with hot water. Not sure if it would have been safe to microwave water in a styrofoam bowl. But over all it is a wonderful place and we definitely would stay there again. 😊👍
